"...Perhaps to feed America’s superhero envy, or more probably to feed her own ego, freshman member of Congress, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has starred in a video of herself decades in the future explaining how her Green New Deal saved the world and made Amerca a better place.

The video’s script was written by Socialist/America-hater Naiomi Klein, produced by the environment organization Sunrise Movement, and published by Glenn Greenwald’s site, The Intercept.

Klein wrote an introduction to the propaganda video that said in part:

What if we actually pulled off a Green New Deal? What would the future look like? The Intercept presents a film narrated by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and illustrated by Molly Crabapple. Set a couple of decades from now, the film is a flat-out rejection of the idea that a dystopian future is a foregone conclusion. Instead, it offers a thought experiment: What if we decided not to drive off the climate cliff? What if we chose to radically change course and save both our habitat and ourselves? We realized that the biggest obstacle to the kind of transformative change the Green New Deal envisions is overcoming the skepticism that humanity could ever pull off something at this scale and speed.

"SWEDEN: OFFSHORE WIND TURBINES TO BE DECOMMISSIONED AFTER ONLY 13 YEARS “CHEAPEST OPTION”

SWEDEN: Vattenfall has decided to dismantle the 10MW Yttre Stengrund, its first Swedish offshore wind project, after 13 years of operation.
David Weston – WindPower Offshore – September 19, 2014
Vattenfall made the decision to decommission the project due to the high cost of replacing turbines and cables.
Yttre Stengrund used five 2MW NEG Micon turbines when it was commissioned in 2001. Vattenfall said only one of the turbines is currently operational.
Only 50 of the turbines were ever made so replacement parts are no longer available.
The Swedish utility have also decided against installing new turbines as the project’s export cable would need replacing if it was to continue operating. Decommissioning has been deemed the most economical option.  Continue reading here…..

Quoting the report, he said "criminal aliens" make up 21 percent of those in the Federal Bureau of Prisons custody and 38 percent of those in Marshals custody.
Terwilliger lamented that a "staggering" amount of resources are being diverted to fighting illegal immigration at the expense other problems like a rising opioid epidemic and rising crime rates in certain areas.

On Saturday afternoon, police say a Germantown man was out enjoying the warm weather and walking through his neighborhood when he says two men walked up and became outraged by the hat that he was wearing. He says he was shocked when one of the men allegedly hit him from behind.

“I was like, ‘Why are you doing this?’ They said, ‘No, the hat,’ and they started punching me on my head.” Atsu Nable told FOX 5 Monday..."

"Prosecutors in Montgomery County, Maryland — the bastion of leftism and Trump hatred I call home — have dismissed charges against the woman who assaulted Kellyanne Conway in a restaurant where Conway was celebrating her birthday. 
The woman, Mary Elizabeth Inabinett, age 63, grabbed Conway from behind and shook her.

That’s clearly a misdemeanor assault. 

So why have charges against the assailant been

dropped?

Prosecutors say that even if they could prove their case, Inabinett would not deserve the type of punishment that might flow from a conviction. 

There’s no legitimate question that prosecutors could prove their case. 
Inabinett certainly committed an assault when she grabbed Conway and shook her. 
Indeed, she has apologized for doing so.

...The penalty for Inabinett’s crime is “imprisonment not exceeding 10 years or a fine not exceeding $2,500 or both.” 

At a minimum Inabinett should be fined for assaulting Conway.

In short, Montgomery County prosecutors have usurped the role of lawmakers who criminalized assault and determined the range of penalties for it, and of judges who evaluate mitigating factors. 

Consider the statement of Montgomery State’s Attorney John McCormick:

Was this woman rude? Yes. Did she violate Ms. Conway’s space and try to embarrass her? Yes and yes. Is this a case where criminal sanctions would have been appropriate? No.

But wait! 

“This woman” did more than violate Conway’s space and try to embarrass her. She physically assaulted Conway. 

That’s a crime and should be treated as such..."
