Pence’s exclusive interview with Breitbart News, which came on his bus tour between Tampa and Orlando, for which he was conducting a campaign swing up the all-important I-4 corridor in the Sunshine State, came moments after the U.S. Senate passed the USMCA, 89-10. The overwhelming Senate vote came a month after the House in mid-December similarly passed the deal with overwhelming bipartisan support, as the USMCA sailed through the lower chamber last year with 385 votes.

"Kimia Alizadeh, Iran’s only female Olympic medalist, defected from her home country so they wouldn’t be able to use her athletic success as a propaganda tool.
The 21-year-old athlete, who won a bronze medal in taekwondo at the Rio Olympics, said she didn’t want to be part of the Islamic republic’s “hypocrisy, lies, injustice and flattery.”
Also, the BBC reported she claimed that “although the government would exploit her sporting success politically, officials would humiliate her with comments such as: ‘It is not virtuous for a woman to stretch her legs.’”...

The Pentagon May Finally Get The Fighter-Sized Stealth Aerial Target Drone It Badly Needs - The Drive:"A small California-based aviation firm has announced that it recently completed engine and flight control testing on the ground on a stealthy unmanned aircraft known as the Fifth Generation Aerial Target, or 5GAT.
The firm says that this design, which it originally developed as a stealth aerial target, could also serve in the "loyal wingman" role with manned combat jets and perform other operational missions..."

Trump Crowd Cheers Promise to Deregulate Energy-Efficient Dishwashers, Showers, Sinks - Citizens for Self-Governance"...President Donald Trump was in Milwaukee Tuesday night, saying words Americans wanted to hear: he promised to roll back Obama’s Department of Energy efficiency standards on household appliances like dishwashers, lightbulbs, toilets, and showers that make it harder and harder to actually get domestic tasks accomplished.
“I’m also approving new dishwashers that give you more water so you can actually wash and rinse your dishes without having to do it 10 times — five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 times.
Anybody have a new dishwasher?” he asked an enthusiastic crowd.
“I’m sorry for that. I’m sorry for that, it’s worthless. They give you so little water. You ever see it? Air comes out. So little water. So what happens? You end up using it ten times.”
He complained about having to wash dishes “the old fashioned way. You’re spending ten times for the electricity! I’m sorry if you just bought one of those brand new pieces of garbage, but darling, you can throw it back,” he said.
“Sinks, toilets, and showers‚ you don’t get any water. They put restrictors on them… Try going and buying a new faucet. You turn it on, no water comes out, right? You go into a shower — and I have this beautiful head of hair, I need a lot of water.”
The crowd loved this..."

Lawsuit: Facebook Used 'Unbridled Market Power' in 'Anticompetitive Scheme' | Breitbart:
A group of companies behind now-defunct apps is suing Facebook, alleging that the company took part in an “anticompetitive scheme” that destroyed their business prospects.
NBC News reports that a group of app developing companies has proposed a class action lawsuit against social media giant Facebook which alleges that the company took part in an “anticompetitive scheme.” The lawsuit is reportedly based on leaked documents from the defunct app developer Six4Three which were obtained by NBC News last year.

Landmark Trade Deal With China; New York Times Hardest Hit | Power Line
"President Trump signed the “Phase One” trade agreement with China today at the White House.
The agreement is far-ranging; you can read its entire text here.
Among other things, it includes “commitments from Beijing to purchase $200 billion of U.S. products over the next two years, halt intellectual property theft and refrain from currency manipulation.”
In return, the U.S. has reduced or eliminated some tariffs on Chinese-manufactured goods, but other duties on $375 billion in Chinese goods will remain in place for now, as an incentive for China to proceed with Phase Two.
On the same program, hedge fund manager Kyle Bass said that he sees the agreement as a “‘temporary truce’ in which the U.S. got the better of China.”

Reaction was predictably partisan.
On CNBC, Steve Bannon said that President Trump “broke the Chinese Communist Party,” and the U.S. “gave up very little in the end.” On the same program, hedge fund manager Kyle Bass said that he sees the agreement as a “‘temporary truce’ in which the U.S. got the better of China.”
At the New York Times, on the other hand, there was wailing and gnashing of teeth:
President Trump signed an initial trade deal with China on Wednesday, bringing the first chapter of a protracted and economically damaging fight with one of the world’s largest economies to a close.
Has the trade conflict with China damaged the U.S. economy?...

Progressives Worried Warren-Sanders ‘Nonaggression Pact’ Could Become A ‘Suicide Pact’ | The Daily Caller:

Progressives appear to be concerned that a hot-mic spat between two 2020 Democratic presidential candidates could destroy both of them.
MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson mentioned the heated moment, caught just after Tuesday’s debate by CNN cameras, when Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders each accused the other of calling them “a liar.”

OMB Releases Memo on Legal Reasons to Withhold Ukraine Aid | Breitbart:

The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) sent a memorandum Wednesday to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) explaining the legal foundations and reasons for holding up U.S. security assistance to Ukraine over the summer.
The Washington Post reported the existence of the memorandum and published it on Thursday morning; it was largely overlooked in in favor of the day’s lengthy impeachment debate in the House Judiciary Committee. Yet the memo fills in some of the factual gaps in the account of what happened.

Pronouns are, of course, just one part of the larger transgender movement...
But within this larger movement, pronouns have come to represent more than just lexical items. Rather, they’ve transformed into ideological shorthand that signals to one’s audience support for transgender rights, that one is on the “right” side of history. Their ubiquity renders them a powerful cudgel to beat down any dissenters.

Finally. The Feds — including ICE — appear to be investigating Ilhan Omar. - TheBlaze:

On Oct. 30, I reported that the Department of Justice had assigned an FBI Special Agent in Charge, or SAC, to review Rep. Ilhan Omar's apparent, astonishing spree of felonies from 2009 to 2017.
Minnesota state Rep. Steve Drazkowski (R) had previously filed a complaint on the matter with the Minnesota District of the Department of Justice. That office — headed by U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald, a 2018 Donald Trump appointee — directed the FBI to review the complaint. An FBI SAC formally met with Rep. Drazkowski, and others, in mid-October to receive a prepared file of evidence and related information.
I can confirm that the FBI has taken additional steps since this October meeting.
