DETROIT, MI -- Detroit is likely to extend a ban on recreational marijuana businesses in Michigan’s largest city until at least March 31.
That announcement came on Tuesday, the same day Detroit Police Chief James Craig in statements to the Detroit News blamed black-market marijuana for “most” of the city’s increased violence this year, including a total of 17 homicides and 32 nonfatal shootings..."

Activist-led attempts to hold the government and oil companies responsible for climate change through the court system are hitting a brick wall as judges argue such efforts are unlikely to gain traction.
A panel of judges knocked down a lawsuit on Jan. 17 in which a large group of young people sued the Trump administration for not doing more to tackle global warming. One of the judges in that case strenuously dissented, suggesting that the court might curse the day it nixed the argument.

Cops: Muslim Sex Grooming Gangs “Didn’t Understand That It Was Wrong" |
"Call it a tale of two girls.
And a tale of two Englands.
One is an actress who grew up to marry a prince, lavished with luxuries, amassing a fortune, before her tantrums and antics drove her to depart her newfound royal family for a Canadian billionaire’s manor.
The other was put into foster care when she was only 8, by the age of 13 she was being raped by a Muslim sex grooming gang, and by 15, Victoria Agoglia was already dead of a heroin overdose injected by the 50-year-old Muslim pedophile who had been abusing her.
Today, she would have been a woman.
Unlike Meghan Markle, Victoria never got the opportunity to marry a prince or even grow up..."

FISA court rules Carter Page spy warrants 'not valid' - WND

FISA court rules Carter Page spy warrants 'not valid' - WND:

Image result for flickr commons images Carter PageThe Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court determined in a secret ruling released Thursday that there was no sufficient basis to "establish probable cause to believe that Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power."
The warrants were based largely on the infamous "Steele dossier" of unsubstantiated Russian propaganda funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee.
Former British spy Christopher Steele alleged Page was part of a "well-developed conspiracy of cooperation" between the Trump campaign and Russian government to influence the 2016 election.

Congress’ Personal Disdain for Trump Impedes National Security | The Heritage Foundation:

Image result for flickr commons images president trumpCongressional critics are claiming that killing Suleimani was an illegal assassination, which it was not. The general was a lawful military target under both domestic and international law. He had led a campaign of terror for years that resulted in the deaths of more than 600 Americans by his own militias and thousands more American deaths and injuries by terrorist proxy groups he trained and supported. Mr. Trump had ample authority under the U.S. Constitution as commander-in-chief to target Suleimani to defend Americans against ongoing and imminent attacks.
Yet, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others are angry that the administration didn’t consult Congress before taking out the general. They have pointed to the 1973 War Powers Act, which requires a president notify Congress within 48 hours of a military action and prohibits the military from remaining in a conflict for more than 60 days if Congress doesn’t authorize military force.

Oakland Becomes First California City To Ban Background Checks For Prospective Renters
"OAKLAND (KPIX 5) — Following a unanimous vote by the city council Tuesday night, Oakland has now become the first city in California to ban criminal background checks on potential renters.
...Just before the vote, Oakland City Councilmember Larry Reid said the ordinance will even benefit his own son, who will get out of prison in just a few months.
...The California Apartment Association (CAA), which represents landlords, opposed the measure, but a spokesperson said there were no plans to challenge it in court..."

Polar bears: The end of a climate delusion icon | CFACT
"One of the climate delusion’s greatest frauds was issued by the Center for Biological Diversity which said “Climate change is drowning and starving polar bears. If greenhouse gas fueled climate change keeps melting their sea ice habitat, an arctic apocalypse will wipe them out in a century – and they will disappear from the United States by 2050.
This was echoed by the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which stated in 2013 “Our analyses highlight the potential for large reductions in the global polar bear populations if sea ice loss continues which is forecast by climate models and other studies.”...
The chart below shows Crockford,s estimates since 1960 based on actual surveys in Canada and the Arctic region.

"The Trump administration is days away from announcing a plan to limit the automatic provision of U.S. citizenship to people born in the United States whose parents are noncitizens visiting the country, a senior administration official told the Washington Examiner on Monday.
The move is meant to go after "birth tourism," which refers to an underground market in which pregnant women travel to the U.S. to have a baby that will immediately be a citizen.
...Last February, the Justice Department announced the indictment of 19 people for their roles in an international "birth tourism" ring that brought "thousands" of pregnant women, mainly from China, to California so they could give birth and have a U.S. child.
The case marked the first time criminal charges have been filed in federal court in a "birth tourism" case..."

Students debate 15,413 Trump 'lies' in Oklahoma school assignment - The American MirrorThe American Mirror
See the source image"A debate teacher at Oklahoma’s Mustang High School wanted to spark a conversation with students about President Trump’s “lies,” but instead ignited a firestorm of criticism that forced district officials to douse the biased assignment.
A picture of the assignment reviewed by KFOR read: “It was announced that President Trump openly lied to the American people, Congress, and the Senate 15,413 times. This means he has lied, on average, 14 times daily,” since he took office.
Students in the school’s debate class were asked to ponder the meaning of the statistics, without any prompt to consider whether they are accurate or misleading.
“What are the ramifications of this?” one question read.
“We cannot stop someone from lying but how can we get the truth on matters that affect us daily?” another read..."

Breaking Bombshell: Warren’s Son-in-Law Produced Film Funded by Iran:

Image result for flickr commons images Elizabeth WarrenTyagi runs Tricolor Films, and in 2008, produced a film called The Song of Sparrows, directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi.
The film was described as Majidi’s “most religious” and is about a man who is fired from his job on an ostrich farm, moves to the big city and becomes a motorcycle taxi driver, and soon becomes consumed with his passengers’ lives and is swept up in a world of greed. It is his family that help him restore his “caring and generous nature,” according to a film synopsis.
Tyagi was listed as the film’s sole producer on a New York Times page, in credits which have now been deleted. A look back at the page’s archive revealed that the film was funded by the Iranian government agency that is overseen by Iranian propagandists.

Post-America: New York City May Let Non-Citizens Vote | Blog Posts | VDARE.com
"Who does America belong to?
It used to be that the most expansive definition possible would be her citizens. Yet now even that legalistic conception of identity, ownership of certain legal documents, is too much.
New York City is gearing up to let non-citizens vote.
New York City immigrants who have legal working papers but are not yet U.S. citizens may soon be able to vote in municipal elections.
Legislation to grant noncitizen immigrants city voting rights will be introduced to the City Council on Thursday, sources familiar with the matter told the Daily News..."
