Plymouth Rock and other landmarks were found vandalized Monday in a disturbing discovery as the city of Plymouth, Mass., gears up to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the pilgrims' arrival to the new world on the Mayflower.
The famous rock at the site of their 1620 landing was found with its inscription covered with red graffiti.
Also vandalized: a sign celebrating the anniversary, the Pilgrim Maiden statue and the National Monument to the Forefathers, according to town officials. The graffiti included an obscene spray-painted message directed at police.

I received a strong dose of the misinformation warping the minds of young people this past weekend when I spoke on a panel on the subject of election integrity at the Washington conference of Junior State of America.
Conference attendees were high school students from the northeast and southeast parts of the country. I was on a five-member panel—and the only conservative on the panel—in a standing room-only crowd.
As you might imagine, the focus of the liberals on the panel was the “voter suppression” meme that the left has been pushing for years to scare voters and their constituencies.

America next? Report: 40% of criminals in Paris area are foreigners.
"Paris, France – Breitbart’s London office recently published an article detailing the increase in criminal activity as it relates to the immigrant community in Paris.

What did their reporting reveal?
According to police and crime figures obtained by the French media, it suggests that within the Paris region, around 40 percent of suspects involved in crimes are born overseas.
These details reveal that the number of foreign-born criminals in Paris is twice the number for the rest of France, which sits at around 20 percent.
In some areas of the city the number of foreign criminals is as high as 47.6%.
According to a security services unit (DSPAP), which operates in Paris and several suburbs outside of the city, the proportion of unaccompanied youths involved in crime has increased to 22.7%...

Bloomberg’s ‘mercenaries’: Billionaire Dem funding network of climate lawyers inside state AG offices | Fox News
Image result for the enemy within communism"A program funded by 2020 presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg is paying the salaries of lawyers who are farmed out to liberal state attorney general offices to pursue climate-based litigation -- a compact critics say amounts to Bloomberg buying state law enforcement employees to advance his preferred political agenda.
The arrangement, which currently pays the salaries of Special Assistant Attorneys General (SAAGs) in 10 Democratic AG offices, is drawing new scrutiny now that Bloomberg is running for president.
The New York University School of Law's State Energy & Environmental Impact Center, which was started in 2017 with $5.6 million from Bloomberg's nonprofit, hires mid-career lawyers as "research fellows" before providing them to state AGs where they assist in pursuing "progressive" policy goals through the courts.

Pentagon Chief Mark Esper Cautions World: 'Wake Up' to China Threat:

Image result for flickr commons images china flagChina steals Western capabilities, intimidates smaller nation states and seeks “advantage by any means and at any cost,” U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper cautioned on Saturday as he cast the world’s most populous nation as a disruptive threat to world order.
Esper used an address at the 2020 Munich Security Conference in Germany to give a comprehensive condemnation of China that he said topped the Pentagon’s list of potential adversaries, followed by Russia and “rogue states” such as North Korea and Iran.

Michael Smith--Fans of Best of the Web Today
"I'm sorry - I just can't shake the dichotomy that is the case of Roger Stone versus the case of Andrew McCabe.
There isn't a better example of the failure of American jurisprudence out there - and this is especially in focus because the two came side by side over a matter of hours this week.
McCabe gets paid to gloat on CNN while Stone faces what could be a life sentence.
It's offensive to reason and common sense.
People may deny that they see it because they hate Stone and support McCabe - but claims that they can't understand the immateriality of Stone's "lies" and the consequential lies of McCabe are dishonest in the extreme.
This is how America ends.
I've noted that the law has value because we treat it that way. When we no longer value it, it is no longer law.
Arbitrary and capricious enforcement of law is functionally indistinguishable from lawlessness."

Mollie Hemingway--27 Problems With Media's Latest Failed Attack On AG William Barr

27 Problems With Media's Latest Failed Attack On AG William Barr
  • Every paragraph in the nearly 10,000-word New Yorker article has significant problems.
  • Taken together, it is just one long string of innuendos insinuating that William Barr is evil.
"Some days it seems as if Attorney General William Barr is one of very few adults in Washington, D.C.
...Partisan media vehemently oppose Barr...mostly for admitting and expressing concern about the Department of Justice’s role in the Russia collusion hoax that undermined the Trump administration.
Nearly the entire political media establishment worked with anonymous sources inside the government and Democratic offices to spread the false conspiracy theory that Trump was a traitor who had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.
Image result for Media's Latest Failed Attack On AG William Barr
...As the media did with Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who accurately raised the alarm about Russia collusion story, they have put out a series of attacks and hit pieces on Barr and John Durham, the federal prosecutor Barr appointed to investigate the FBI’s spying on the Trump campaign.
The playbook is for the media and Democrats to discredit whomever they decide is a threat.
...One Washington Post headline: “John Durham has a stellar reputation for investigating corruption. Some fear his work for Barr could tarnish it.”
As in, if Durham’s investigation doesn’t match the false narrative set by the Post and other media outlets, they’ll rewrite the story about his reputation.
Nice reputation you have, Durham.
Shame if something happened to it..."

Japan's GDP Is Collapsing, And Experts Are Warning That China Will Be Next
"Global economic conditions are really starting to deteriorate quite rapidly.
See the source imageEconomists were projecting that Japan’s GDP would shrink by 3.8 percent on an annualized basis in the fourth quarter, but instead it greatly surpassed expectations by plunging 6.3 percent.
...But of course the outlook for China is even worse.
At this point, economic activity in China has come to a standstill, and this has thrown global supply chains into a state of chaos.
It certainly appears that the entire global economy will shrink during the first quarter, and that will be the very first time that has happened in more than a decade.
And if this coronavirus outbreak continues to intensify in the months ahead, the economic consequences are going to be absolutely catastrophic.
Even though the experts were anticipating a slowdown in Japan, nobody had any idea that it would be this bad…"

But his attempt to claim credit for the booming economy during President Donald Trump’s three years in office sparked a social media backlash that showed many Americans were all too awake during the abysmal eight years of Obama in the Oval Office.
Obama kicked off festivities with a typically vainglorious post, essentially bragging this it was his actions as president that have led to the current boom the country is enjoying.
