Detroit Police Chief Demands Rashida Tlaib Resign After 'Reckless' Comments

In an interview Sunday with WJBK-TV, the Fox affiliate in the Detroit area, Detroit Police Chief James Craig made it clear he would not be sorry to see Tlaib take a permanent leave of absence from a congressional position.

“I’d love to see her resign. I’d throw her a goodbye party,” Craig told interviewer Charlie Langton, an attorney and WJBK anchor.

AOC says 'trampling' of 'indigenous rights' and 'racial justice' is a cause of climate change | Washington Examiner
"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez faulted the rejection of "indigenous rights" and "racial justice" on Tuesday as causes of climate change.
"The climate crisis is a crisis born of injustice, and it is a crisis born of the pursuit of profit at any and all human and ecological cost, which means that we must recognize in legislation that the trampling of indigenous rights is a cause of climate change," the New York Democrat said, "that the trampling of racial justice is a cause of climate change because we are allowing people and we are allowing folks to deny ourselves human rights and deny people the right to healthcare, the right to housing and education."...Read all.

'Reimagine policing'? Mark Levin unpacks Obama's MARXIST messaging on law enforcement - TheBlaze

'Reimagine policing'? Mark Levin unpacks Obama's MARXIST messaging on law enforcement - TheBlaze

On the latest episode of "LevinTV," Mark Levin exposed the former president's use of Marxist catchphrases like "reimagine policing" and attempt to tie this tragedy to George Floyd's death in order to advance a racial-injustice agenda at the expense of the rule of law. "These politicians think they need to be out front, that they need to comment before they know anything, because they are playing to the mob," Levin stated. "In my research of Marxism and Critical Race Theory, the word 'reimagine' shows up everywhere. That word has meaning. Reimagine means destroy."

The Gaslighting of the American People by Jackie Gingrich Cushman

The Gaslighting of the American People by Jackie Gingrich Cushman
"This week, Project Veritas released a video of Charlie Chester, a CNN technical director...reveal that CNN was involved in what proved to be a successful media campaign to control the political process.
  • "Look what we did, we got Trump out. I am 100% going to say it, and I 100% believe that, if it wasn't for CNN, I don't know that Trump would have got voted out," Chester said. "Our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, that's what it was."
Part of the process within CNN, according to the tapes, was to highlight anything negative against then-President Donald Trump.
  • If Trump's "hand was shaking or whatever, I think. We brought in so many medical people to all tell a story that was all speculation -- that he was neurologically damaged, and he was losing it," said Chester. "We were creating a story there that we didn't know anything about. That's what -- I think, that's propaganda."
The opposite tactic was taken with Biden, according to Chester.
...According to Psychology Today, "Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control.
Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves.
They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity.
Over time, a gaslighter's manipulations can grow more complex and potent, making it increasingly difficult for the victim to see the truth."...Read all.

A union leader mixes toxic race theory with anti-Semitism to justify closed schools

A union leader mixes toxic race theory with anti-Semitism to justify closed schools
  • Randi Weingarten attacked Jewish parents who want schools opened as “privileged” members of the “ownership class” to justify the harm her union is doing to kids.
"If there is any profession other than medical personnel that would ordinarily be thought of as “essential workers,” it would have to be teachers.
...That’s why one of the most discouraging aspects of the coronavirus pandemic has been the public-school teachers unions’ opposition to the reopening of schools for in-person instruction, despite all the evidence showing that doing so is both safe and in the best interests of children.
That the unions seem to have an agenda that is contrary to the goal of advancing education has been clear for a long time.
But nothing has done more to illustrate the way leadership of these groups prioritize their own selfish interests and leftist doctrine, as opposed to education itself, than an interview that Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, gave to JTA this week...Read all.

Albuquerque police take defiant stand after leadership disciplines officer: 'There is no morale' - TheBlaze

In total, 17 officers, two sergeants, and one lieutenant resigned from ADP's emergency response team. Shaun Willoughby, the president of the Albuquerque Police Officers' Association, said the officers resigned because they don't feel supported by APD management. "They don't feel supported here, and they don't feel trust. They feel second guessed, and they don't feel that they can do their job, no matter how perfect they do their job, without getting in trouble," Willoughby told KOB. "They're damned if they do, and they're damned if they don't," he added.

Extra COVID Revenue for Schools Averages $4,600 Per Student --But large disparities among districts; some get less than $1,000, others more than $10,000
"MIDLAND, Mich. — Michigan public schools are emerging from the pandemic with an unprecedented dose of extra funding, according to a new report from the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
The report breaks down the financial impact of the three major federal COVID-19 relief packages and change in state policy that funds districts for students they no longer educate.
...Among conventional districts, for example, 58% of the federal CARES Act funding went to districts providing only remote instruction as of January 2021.
...Taking into account all sources of extra COVID relief funds, the three districts that received the most extra dollars were
  • Flint, with an additional $51,193 per pupil,
  • Benton Harbor with $29,502 per pupil and
  • Detroit with $26,695 per pupil.
  • The bottom four districts are all below $500 per pupil.

Chicago prosecutor put on leave after telling judge 13-year-old Adam Toledo was armed when police shot him - TheBlaze

The Chicago Sun-Times similarly reported that one angle of bodycam footage doesn't show Toledo "throwing away the gun, and the boy doesn't appear to be holding a weapon in his raised hands...but another video shows him apparently throwing something through a gap in the fence to the other side — and a video shows an officer discovering a handgun there."

Fauci vs. DeSantis: Should Vaccinated People Need to Wear Masks? by Guy Benson

Fauci vs. DeSantis: Should Vaccinated People Need to Wear Masks? by Guy Benson
"...Instead, here he is on his endless media tour (consider the diminishing returns factor based on the above data) arguing that people who've been fully vaccinated may still need to wear masks indefinitely.
He doesn't use that word specifically, but his standard seems to be "until there's zero risk" and there will never be zero risk:

The question he's answering was prompted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' overwhelmingly sensible and data-driven guidance that vaccinated people are immune and should therefore act like it:

He's right.
...In short, the vaccines work miraculously well, and recent CDC data showed that the so-called "breakthrough" infection rate is 0.008 percent among the fully vaccinated.
That's not zero risk, but there's very, very, very little risk, and vaccinated people should in fact act as if they're immune because they are...Read all.

Fighting back!-----Website Will Allow Parents and Teachers to Expose Classroom Radicalism - Washington Free Beacon

Website Will Allow Parents and Teachers to Expose Classroom Radicalism - Washington Free Beacon
  • A North Carolina education advocacy group launched a website this week to help whistleblowers expose radicalism in K-12 schools.
"Education First Alliance launched its Schoolhouse Shock watchdog site on Monday to help parents and teachers call attention to radicalism in the classroom.
Users can anonymously upload videos, photos, and documents from their child’s class to catalog critical race theory-based lessons being taught in schools.
"Our new statewide whistleblower program, Schoolhouse Shock, will add to our toolbox in the fight against the onslaught of racially inflammatory and sexualized curriculums that children are being immersed in all over North Carolina," Sloan Rachmuth, Education First Alliance president, said in a statement.

The North Carolina Board of Education in February adopted radical curriculum standards built around critical race theory—the idea that American economic and political systems are inherently racist.
..."Asking children to solve, or suffer the punishment for, previous generations’ injustices is not only irresponsible and ineffective, it is a continuance of that same injustice," the group’s mission statement reads...Read all.

The collapse of our civilization!-----Man charged with attacking undercover Asian NYPD cop released without bail

Man charged with attacking undercover Asian NYPD cop released without bail
"The man charged with trying to shove an Asian undercover cop onto Queens subway tracks was cut loose without bail Sunday — as the judge claimed, “My hands are tied.”
Suspect Ricardo Hernandez, 32 — who faces three hate-crime charges in the attack on the unnamed cop on a Long Island City train platform around 5:30 p.m. Saturday — has at least 12 prior arrests under his belt.
At Hernandez’s arraignment over the attempted push onto the tracks, Queens Supreme Court Justice Louis Nock said the state’s bail-reform measures barred him from holding Hernandez in jail.
“My hands are tied because under the new bail rules, I have absolutely no authority or power to set bail on this defendant for this alleged offense,” the judge said...Read all.

Ted Cruz Calls Out Maxine Waters for 'Encouraging Violence' - Louder With Crowder

Are you old enough to remember being told by the media Donald Trump incited a riot with his rhetoric? Keep that in mind as you watch crazy Congresswoman Maxine Watters encouraging Minnesota protesters to get MORE confrontational. Mind you, this is the second time she's encouraged leftist protesters to get in their enemy's faces, even though she claims she didn't. If a jury of Derek Chauvin's peers doesn't convict him of murder, Maxine Waters (who is from California) says it's time to stay on the street and let "them" know the protesters mean business. Ted Cruz isn't amused. He's accusing Democrats of "actively encouraging riots & violence."
