"The Minnesota affiliate of the National Education Association and American Federation of Teachers has published a document advising its members on how to defend the teaching of critical race theory (CRT) in the state’s schools.
One will immediately note Education Minnesota’s tactics from the document’s title — “Responding to racially motivated attacks on racial equity in schools.”
  • It’s not CRT but “equity.”
  • Criticisms are “racially motivated.”
  • A “key concept” of the document says teachers should stay away from using the actual words “critical race theory” because it has been “redefined” by conservatives as an “all-purpose racial dog whistle.”
  • This ties in to another key concept: “ascribe motivations to the opposition.”...Read all.

Rand Paul Releases Powerful Anti-Lockdown Call to Arms - Louder With Crowder

It's rare to get moved by speeches. A lot of that has to do with the number of conservative leaders who give speeches, then do little else once in power. See Big Tech, Do Anything About. This is a good video from Rand Paul. You know Joe Biden is going to push more lockdowns, no matter how many times the White House clarifies or denies him saying so. Senator Paul has a simple message for the American people when the government tries locking down again: Nope.

The University of Wisconsin removed a large boulder from its Madison campus on Friday because two student groups complained that the rock was a symbol of racism. Just before 7 a.m. on Friday, crews began securing straps to the Chamberlin Rock on the top of Observatory Hill at the UW-Madison campus in Madison, Wisconsin. A crane was used to load the boulder on a flatbed truck, which transported the rock to another location.

Oregon Dems Eliminate High School Reading Proficiency Requirement
"Gov. Kate Brown guts requirement that high schoolers prove they can read, write, and do math
Democratic governor Kate Brown of Oregon signed a bill last month that drops the requirement that high schoolers prove they can read, write, and do math at a basic high school level in order to graduate.
The bill, which the Democratic legislature passed in June in a mostly party-line vote, suspends Oregon's high school graduation requirements for at least five years as the state works to reform its high school standards.
A spokesman for the governor's office told the Oregonian that suspending the proficiency requirements will benefit "Oregon’s Black, Latino, Latina, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, Tribal, and students of color."...Read all!

...Proof of vaccination is required in parts of the U.S. and Europe to dine indoors, go to museums and attend large sporting events.
The spread of such rules has created a market for counterfeit certificates for the unvaccinated.

U. Oklahoma coaches claim they can discipline players for their politics | The College Fix
"Two women’s volleyball coaches at the University of Oklahoma argue in a legal motion that they have the right to discipline players for their political beliefs.
...The OU Daily reported that McLaughlin, the OU team captain and first team All-Big 12 selection in 2018 and 2019, had made comments that “at least one” of her teammates considered “racist” following a team viewing of the Netflix documentary “13th.”
...Later, after McLaughlin had tweeted out her disagreement (a skull and crossbones and laughing clown emojis) at the University of Texas’s possible dropping of its school song “The Eyes of Texas, Lindsey Walton “urg[ed] her to delete [the] tweet.”
In a subsequent hour-long phone conversation, she told McLaughlin “I can’t save you when you get into the real world when you leave here.”
Kyle Walton allegedly told McLaughlin “[I’m] not sure I can coach you anymore.” McLaughlin did end up apologizing to U. Texas’s volleyball players and head coach for her tweet...Read all!

"The Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR) gave $12 million in September 2020 to a Michigan nonprofit, which then funneled the money to two Democrat consulting firms for the purpose of “nonpartisan voter education efforts.”
...According to Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson...a Democrat, founded the MCELA in 2008 and was listed year after year as president of the organization until 2020.
...As the Michigan Star observed, understanding if the voter education efforts were truly nonpartisan requires understanding where text messages, mailers, and other ads were being directed.
Phone lists for text messaging, for instance, could have been provided by (Democrat supporting) Waterfront Strategies or Alper Strategies.
...As Breitbart News reported in December, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla, donated $419.5 million to two nonprofit groups during the 2020 election cycle, $350 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life and $69.5 million to CEIR...Read all.

Texas House Democrats claim they've been 'deprived of liberty' in lawsuit against Gov. Greg Abbott - TheBlaze

However, as the Texas Tribune noted, the lawsuit provides no evidence of the lawmakers being targeted because of their race, provides no evidence of the alleged harm against them save for "public statements," and fails to provide evidence to corroborate the alleged "retaliatory attacks." Abbott and Phelan have been urging the lawmakers to return to Texas and fulfill their oaths of office by participating in the legislative process they subverted. Abbott has said the lawmakers will be arrested once they return to Texas.
