Must READ!-----Civil Liberties Are Being Trampled by Exploiting "Insurrection" Fears. Congress's 1/6 Committee May Be the Worst Abuse Yet. - by Glenn Greenwald - Glenn Greenwald
- Following the 9/11 script, objections to government overreach in the name of 1/6 are demonized as sympathy for terrorists. But government abuses pose the greater threat.
- The first priority, indeed the sole priority, is to crush the threat.
- Questions about the legality of actions ostensibly undertaken against the guilty parties are brushed aside as trivial annoyances at best, or, worse, castigated as efforts to sympathize with and protect those responsible for the danger.
- When a population is subsumed with pulsating fear and rage, there is little patience for seemingly abstract quibbles about legality or ethics.
- The craving for punishment, for vengeance, for protection, is visceral and thus easily drowns out cerebral or rational impediments to satiating those primal impulses.
...Mainstream political and media sectors instantly consecrated the narrative, fully endorsed by the U.S. security state, that the United States was attacked on 1/6 by domestic terrorists bent on insurrection and a coup.
...With those extremist and alarming premises fully implanted, there has been little tolerance for questions about whether proposed responses for dealing with the 1/6 “domestic terrorists" and their incomparably dangerous ideology are excessive, illegal, unethical, or unconstitutional.

"...As I’ve asked before, where are all the good apples?
- ...Where was the outrage over trying to frame Donald Trump, and succeeding in framing a bunch of his people, in order to ensure our 2016 votes were meaningless?
- How about over hunting down mere trespassers in the Capitol and sending militarized SWAT teams to break down their doors?
- Why is no one resigning over the cartels importing hundreds of thousands of illegals?
- Catch any Chi-Com spies lately?

- How about those agents who saved the Stepford Governor from being kidnapped in a conspiracy created by those agents?

- Remember the Las Vegas shooter – what was up with that?

Lazy crane operators making $250,000 a year exacerbating port crisis, truckers say | Washington Examiner
LONG BEACH, California — Crane operators who belong to a powerful union and earn up to $250,000 a year transferring containers from ships to trucks are worsening the supply chain crisis that threatens Christmas by goofing off on the job, frustrated truckers told the Washington Examiner.
The finger-pointing at the busy Los Angeles County ports comes as scores of container ships are anchored off the California coast, waiting in some cases for weeks to unload their freight. The Biden administration has scrambled to get shipping executives, port officials, and labor to tackle the problem. While the reasons for the burgeoning backlog are complex, truck drivers say not everyone seems to be working together.

Must-see TV: Devastating video of shifting narrative on COVID vax
"...Whoever put it together understands the short attention span of many people and the power of rapid cuts from image to image, resulting in a powerful cumulative impression. It begins with the confident claims of vaccine efficacy from Fauci and others. With familiar music from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite in the background, as the tempo increases, the speed of the images follows, perfectly synchronized with the music, as published claims of vaccine efficacy plunge from 100% and headlines about side-effects and other problems flash by. Fauci's visage, confidently endorsing the vaccines, reappears, taking on a Big Brotherish aspect, almost comically sticking to his story as reality in the headlines contradicts his propaganda pronouncements.
As Sundance comments:
[T]he effectiveness of this video is enhanced because the producer doesn’t use opinion to drive home the point. The central assertion of vaccines being ineffective is proven in their own words and media statements during the course of only ten months. A masterful video.
This is well worth your two minutes:

Targeting Trump: Durham Uncovers New Clinton, FBI Connections in Russia Probe | Judicial Watch
The wheels of justice grind slow—much to the exasperation of, well, everybody. In April 2019, Attorney General William Barr appointed federal prosecutor John Durham to get to the bottom of the Russia mess: the sensational allegations, both before and after Donald Trump’s November 2016 presidential election victory, of Trump connections to dirty Russian money, dirty players, and dirty deeds.
Testifying before a Senate subcommittee, Barr said he wanted a review of “both the genesis and the conduct of intelligence activities directed at the Trump campaign during 2016.” Durham’s mandate: investigate the investigators—particularly the FBI. What did the FBI know about Trump’s accusers and when did they know it?
Last month, more than two years after his appointment, Durham delivered.
