When Censorship’s the Game, Despotism Is the Goal

2. Censorship of When Harry Became Sally
Released several years ago, Ryan T. Anderson’s book on transgenderism suddenly went missing from Amazon’s virtual shelves the other week...

U.S. businesses are finding it easier to pass on increased costs to their customers and expect to keep raising prices in the months ahead, the Federal Reserve said on Wednesday.

Biden White House on the Verge of Making Disastrous Move with Kamala Harris
"What are they doing?
- She has failed on the border.
- She failed in boosting COVID vaccination rates.
- Harris is a walking failure, who bleeds staff and fosters a toxic work environment.
- She doesn’t do the work and she doesn’t read the briefings her staff prepare for her, so she doesn’t look like an idiot.
- She botched the talking points about the sanctions slapped against Russia in the aftermath of their invasion of Ukraine.
- And now, the White House wants to send her to Poland? Does she even know where that is on the map (via The Hill)...Read all.

Evidence Suggests COVID Vaccines May Not Save More Lives Than They Take | Intellectual Takeout
...Beyond the fact that death is the most severe and clearest health outcome, the reason why this measure is more vital than any other is because RCTs control for every possible confounding factor, including those that are not obvious.
...The results reveal that 70 people died during the Moderna and Pfizer trials, including 37 who received Covid vaccines and 33 who did not.
Combined with the fact that half of the study participants were given vaccinations and the other half were given placebos, these crucial results provide no indication that the vaccines save more lives than they take...Read all.
What If Russia Loses? - Noah Rothman, Commentary Magazine
- Vladimir Putin’s decision to announce the activation of Russia’s strategic nuclear arsenal is a clear signal to the West that it must pare back its support for Ukraine.
- It’s quite possible that Moscow could label Western nations providing material support to Kyiv co-belligerents in an active war against Russia.
- It could violently interdict weapons shipments into Ukraine, or conduct cyberattacks on vital elements of Western civilian infrastructure...
- Whether by accident or as a shot across NATO’s bow, it’s not hard to imagine a Russian strike on a Western asset that cannot be ignored.
- Moscow misjudged its adversaries.
- The West misjudged Russia.
- And Ukraine couldn’t possibly have imagined the outpouring of support for its efforts to sustain the fight. Everyone’s assumptions about how this conflict would play out proved inaccurate.
