Russia Warns That World's 5 Nuclear Powers Are On Brink Of "Direct Armed Conflict" |
  • Russia’s foreign ministry said it fears that the world’s five declared nuclear powers are “on the brink of a direct armed conflict,” with Moscow warning of a catastrophic fallout and insisting that avoiding a clash is its top priority.
The Kremlin statement, issued on Nov. 2, accused Western powers of “encouraging provocations with weapons of mass destruction” and called on the West to stop or face the prospect of “catastrophic consequences.”...

As the media buries the real violence!-----Shot fired at family home of N. Carolina US House candidate

Shot fired at family home of N. Carolina US House candidate
  • RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — A recent shooting at the Hickory, North Carolina, residence of GOP congressional candidate Pat Harrigan's parents and young children caused no injuries but placed “tremendous stress” on the family in the final weeks of his campaign, Harrigan's mother said Thursday.
  • Marla Harrigan, 74, told The Associated Press on Thursday that she and her husband James Harrigan were watching television down the hall when a bullet shattered their laundry room window on the night of Oct. 18. The Hickory Police Department responded to their 911 call and noted in the police report that the incident involved a firearm.
  • The congressional candidate's children, ages 3 and 5, were asleep in the bedroom directly above the room where the shooting occurred, Marla Harrigan said...

The Left Were the Mad Scientists, We Were Their Lab Rats

The Left Were the Mad Scientists, We Were Their Lab Rats - By Victor Davis Hanson
"As the midterms approach, one way of looking at America’s current disaster is that we, the American people, were lab rats.
And since 2021, the Left were the mad scientists, eager to try out their crackpot leftist experiments on us.
  • The result is that the housing market is tottering on the verge of collapse.
  • As interest rates soar, our $31 trillion national debt crowds out everything else in the budget.
  • Inflation roars at a rate of 8-9 percent per annum, higher than at any time in 40 years. Yet the prices of the stuff of life—food, fuel, shelter, energy—are far steeper still than the official rate.
  • No one is safe from thugs anymore—whether a commuter on a New York subway or the Pelosis in Pacific Heights.
  • The country reportedly has a 25-day supply of diesel fuel—the energy source that runs the nation.
  • We never fixed the supply-chain crisis of last year, and so still face shortages of key consumer goods.
  • The labor participation rate is at an all-time low—given fat government COVID subsidies, the Siren-song appeal of staying home after the lockdowns, fear of COVID, and millions of workers with long COVID...

Sweden Halts Approved COVID-19 Vaccine Use For People Under 30 | The Daily Caller

Sweden Halts Approved COVID-19 Vaccine Use For People Under 30 | The Daily Caller:

Sweden’s Public Health Agency recommended suspending administration of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine to individuals aged 30 years old and younger this week.

The agency said Wednesday it was a temporary measure due to concerns about the vaccine increasing risk of heart inflammation. Authorities will wait until more data is available on the risk of developing pericarditis or myocarditis from the shot before making a final decision.

IS WATER RACIST? ISN’T EVERYTHING?

Instapundit--IS WATER RACIST? ISN’T EVERYTHING?  The Pipeline - Steven F. Hayward
"Last year California’s State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), explicitly responding to the suddenly discovered legacy of “white supremacy” and “the national and worldwide backlash against racism toward Black people and related Black Lives Matter protests of 2020,” passed a nine-page resolution(accompanied by 47 pages of “reference literature”), headlined “Condemning Racism, Xenophobia, Bigotry, and Racial Injustice and Strengthening Commitment to Racial Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Access, and Anti-Racism.”...
...Naturally the Board now includes “climate change” as one of its primary concerns, and “public outreach” and education—essentially propaganda and self-congratulation—as key functions...

But is California’s water more or less racist than its roads and bridges? - Posted by Ed Driscoll

White House official's excuse for deleted tweet swiftly turned upside down by Biden's own words: 'On my watch' - TheBlaze

White House official's excuse for deleted tweet swiftly turned upside down by Biden's own words: 'On my watch' - TheBlaze:

On Tuesday, the White House claimed Biden is responsible for a forthcoming increase in Social Security payouts.

"Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership," the tweet claimed.

But the White House deleted the post after Twitter users added a fact-check that noted increases in Social Security payouts are statutorily mandated to ensure that payments are commensurate with increasing inflation.

Seriously, can anyone name a well-run Democratic city?

Seriously, can anyone name a well-run Democratic city?
  • Democrat leadership has led to cities filled with crime and homelessness.
"As we draw closer to polling day, there is really only one question anyone needs to have in their head.
  • Are things better or worse than when America last went to the polls?
The problem is that you can answer that differently state by state.
A lot of people who fled California in the last couple of years, for instance, can say that their lives have improved by moving to Tennessee, Florida or Texas.
  • So let me narrow the question down a bit. Can anybody in any Democratic-run city honestly say that their lives — and city — have improved over the last couple of years?...

Horowitz: 4 immediate actions for conservatives to make the election victory meaningful - TheBlaze:

November 9 is the most important date on the calendar. It is the date that will determine whether conservatives are finally serious about keeping Republicans on a short leash and not repeating the mistakes that squandered the electoral mandates of the red waves in 1994 and 2010.
