The Republican also called the current border crisis a "catastrophe" for which Biden was solely responsible.

"This terrible crisis for border communities in Texas is a catastrophe of your own making," he wrote. "The need to address this crisis is not the job of border states like Texas. Instead, the U.S. Constitution dictates that it is your job, Mr. President, to defend the borders of our country, regulate our nation’s immigration, and manage those who seek refuge here," he added.

GUESS WHAT: ELECTRICITY ISN’T FREE
"...The next most ignorant view is that at least you don’t have to buy expensive gasoline! People seem to forget that electricity isn’t free, from whatever source.
It seems Europe is waking up to this:

BERLIN—Rocketing electricity prices are increasing the cost of driving electric vehicles in Europe, in some cases making them more expensive to run than gas-powered models—a change that could threaten the continent’s electric transition. . .

Three more substations attacked in Washington... on Christmas morning

"...This situation is officially out of control, though it probably has been for a while and we simply weren’t hearing much about it.
And they did it on Christmas morning. More than 14,000 buildings lost power in Pierce County, Washington.
And at least initially, much like the situation in North Carolina, authorities don’t appear to have any idea who might have done it.
...The authorities may not have any suspects yet or even a motive, but this was clearly another coordinated effort to bring down the power grid.
  • Nobody “accidentally” goes into three substations and destroys the equipment...

Oh, and of course there are fines. The government will fine homeowners $100 for the first “offense” and $500 for a second. The fines only go up from there, KBCW notes.

There is also a hotline you can call to narc on your neighbors because no government restriction is complete without a way to coerce people to act as Karen enforcers for the government.

Climate change: Electrical industry's 'dirty secret' boosts warming - BBC News
"It's the most powerful greenhouse gas known to humanity, and emissions have risen rapidly in recent years, the BBC has learned.
Sulphur hexafluoride, or SF6, is widely used in the electrical industry to prevent short circuits and accidents.
But leaks of the little-known gas in the UK and the rest of the EU in 2017 were the equivalent of putting an extra 1.3 million cars on the road.
Levels are rising as an unintended consequence of the green energy boom...

Based on the evidence, writes Clevenger, "I strongly suspect that the data prepared for 'exfiltration' was found on Seth's work laptop, and I strongly suspect that Seth had downloaded that data onto a thumb drive." Clevenger cites Hersh's intel report, about which he testified under oath, "indicating that @Wikileaks got the DNC emails from an internal DNC source rather than from Russian hackers." Says Clevenger, "I suspect the report he's talking about is the FBI's report on Seth's work laptop." Concludes Clevenger, "The FBI lied and cheated for five years in order to hide that laptop report, and it's still fighting to hide that report from the public."

Schadenfreude: Department of Energy ramps up the war against their tax slaves (us) - American Thinker - By Olivia Murray

"On December 19, 2022, the Biden White House released a statement briefing the public on a newly proposed rule by the Department of Energy which would require lightbulb manufacturers to comply with new “climate change” efficiency standards. In fact, the move was just the latest transgressions against the American citizenry:

This is the 110th action to strengthen energy efficiency standards that the Administration has taken in 2022. These 110 actions span a range of household products—everything from air conditioners and furnaces, to clothes washers and dryers, to kitchen appliances and water heaters—as well as commercial and industrial equipment...

Media outlets ignore national debt in coverage of massive spending bill | Fox News

Media coverage of the massive $1.7-trillion government spending bill passed through Congress this week has almost entirely avoided mention of the nation's more than $31-trillion national debt. MSNBC and CNN have largely sidestepped the issue while discussing the package, which passed with bipartisan support in the Senate, as 18 Senate Republicans joined the chamber's Democrats. Just nine House Republicans voted for it as well on Friday, and President Biden will sign it in the coming days.
