‘I’m a Black Woman in America:’

Instapundit--‘I’m a Black Woman in America:’

"UNEXPECTEDLY! ‘I’m a Black Woman in America:’ Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Blames Election Loss on Racism, Sexism.

Chicago has been a Democrat-monopoly stronghold since 1931. The last time the city’s voters elected a Republican to be their mayor was 1927.

Almost a century later, Lightfoot calling her (now thankfully former) constituents sexists and racists is yet another reminder of how out of touch she was.

Similarly, her administration being forced to deal with a pandemic that it was completely unprepared for simply “accelerated the contradictions,” as her fellow socialists like to say.--Posted by

Democrat lawmaker proposes bill forcing Chicago grocery stores, gas stations to hire armed guards | Fox Business

State Rep. Thaddeus Jones (D) introduced the Armed Security Protection Act in January. If passed, establishments like banks, gas stations, grocery stores, and pawn shops would be forced to employ at least one-armed guard to protect the business during operating hours starting in July.

"They're not thinking. It's a ludicrous bill," Happy Foods store owner Barbara Eastman told FOX Business’ Jeff Flock in Chicago Monday. "First of all, for the liability of having an armed guard in here."

Germany Wary Of Europe’s Ban Of Fossil Fuel Cars By 2035… Too Pricey, Technically Unfeasible
"As the EU Parliament voted on February 14th to ban the registration of new fossil fuel cars beginning in 2035, it appears the folly of the idea is just beginning to dawn on those who had been expected to take a more critical stand much earlier....a new Allensbach survey suggests....
  • “Although a majority of respondents believe that electric drives will become established in the next ten years, only 22 percent consider this desirable.
  • ...While 47% of the respondents said they use a car daily, only 18% said they use a bicycle daily...

An interesting quirk about diversity roles at corporations

An interesting quirk about diversity roles at corporations - Tom Knighton
"...Diversity, equity and inclusion leaders, who were hired in waves to help companies achieve an ethnically balanced workforce after George Floyd’s murder in 2020, are being phased out...
...Another survey showed that Black employees represent only 3.8% of chief diversity officers overall, with white people making up 76.1% of the roles
...Let’s remember that in 2020, there were literal mobs setting fire to buildings and destroying private property.
People were attacked and physically beaten during some of these supposedly “mostly peaceful” protests.
  • Now they’re being laid off because, frankly, what do they really bring to the table now?
  • The fire has gone out of Black Lives Matter to some degree. While they might get vocal, they’re not exactly burning down entire business districts. There’s a lot less risk in pissing them off.
  • And DEI personnel don’t do anything to help make a better/cheaper product. If anything, they help keep bad personnel on and create overhead that doesn’t benefit the bottom line...

"Sex attacks on teen girls rose during lockdown measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"...Nice to see the CDC kinda sorta taking some responsibility for some of the damage it did.

Chick-fil-A rolls out new rule after out-of-control behavior at restaurant

A Pennsylvania Chick-fil-A has laid down the law after disruptive behavior from young customers reached the breaking point.

“[T]o dine in our restaurant, anyone under the age of 16 is required to be accompanied by an adult. If not accompanied by an adult, they may come in to purchase food, but must take it to go,” the Chick-fil-A in Royersford, Pennsylvania, posted Wednesday on Facebook.

The post noted, “We contemplated long and hard before posting this, but decided it was time.”

"...LastPass is a program that allows you to store multiple passwords in a single account accessed by a single password...
...Unrelated is another reminder of how vulnerable online data can be.
There was a major ransomware hack of the U.S. Marshals Service last week.
Data collected includes returns from legal processes, information on people being investigated, fugitives, and some employees.
There is no word on whether the ransom was paid.
  • But the information would be of more than passing interest to criminal elements at home and around the world...

Report: Some lab-grown meat pushed by WEF and Bill Gates as a remedy for climate change is made of 'immortalized' cancer cells - TheBlaze

Technocrats appear keen to preclude the masses from eating real meat in hopes of combatting the specter of climate change and making more money. While there is a significant push under way for people to surrender steaks, burgers, and hot dogs and instead eat bugs and algae, climate alarmists and elites alike are also hyping so-called synthetic "meat." This alternative may prove too much to swallow for many consumers in light of the present lack of health data about what such laboratory productions might do to consumers, as well as Bloomberg's recent report underscoring how synthetic meat is, in many cases, cancer.

Norfolk Southern, the train operator responsible for the toxic derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, received approval from the Environmental Protection Agency to resume shipments of contaminated soil and water from the town after removals were paused for review. The EPA, according to CNN, froze movement of the hazardous waste while it reviewed the company's disposal plans for the materials after receiving complaints from officials in Michigan and Texas.

America's Largest Power Grid Faces Worsening Reliability Risks |
"A new report reveals the US' largest power grid is
  • shuttering power generation units faster than new supply can be brought online,
  • threatening electric reliability in 13 states that stretch from Illinois to New Jersey with over 65 million customers.
PJM Interconnection published a new study Friday that examines the alarming trend of state and federal decarbonization policies across the grid that "present increasing reliability risks during the transition, due to a potential timing mismatch between resource retirements, load growth and the pace of new generation entry."
  • The report warned: "For the first time in recent history, PJM could face decreasing reserve margins should these trends continue."...

The Solution to Ballot Fraud - American Thinker

The Solution to Ballot Fraud - American Thinker - By Jay Valentine
  • The irresistible force is mail-in ballots, nonexistent signature verification, phantom voter rolls, a feckless Republican Party, Republican governors donating tax money to a George Soros–funded entity to clean voter rolls — election commissions changing ZIP codes so mail-in ballots stack up — courts refusing to remove dead people from voter rolls unless they miss two consecutive elections, and a Republican presidential candidate who thinks he can win with ballot-harvesting.
What could go wrong in 2024?
In 2000, the national realization was that election fraud is industrial-scale, committed by election commissions or with their acquiescence.
It is a sovereign crime.
  • The 2020 realization is that voter integrity teams cannot remove phantoms from voter rolls — even with death certificates...
