Impeachment once again looms large in Congress | Fox News

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., don’t get along.

But if House Republicans try to impeach President Biden or a roster of other Biden cabinet officials in the coming months, a look at how Pelosi handled impeachment questions deserves attention.

The Truth About Ivermectin

The Truth About Ivermectin - Marina Zhang
  • Medical miracle or notorious lynchpin of misinformation?
Ivermectin has been hailed as a “wonder drug” and, according to the UNESCO World Science Report, a critical component of “one of the most triumphant public health campaigns ever waged in the developing world.”
However, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and affiliated health authorities have vociferously recommended against ivermectin as a potential treatment for the virus.
  • Though the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved ivermectin for human use in treating conditions caused by parasites, it has also insisted that ivermectinhas not been shown to be safe or effective” when it comes to treating COVID-19.
  • In a social media message that has gone viral, the FDA labeled it as a drug for horses and not fit for human consumption: “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”
The post made headlines and was one of the FDA’s most successful social media campaigns.
Yet, research findings seem to contradict the public health organization’s recommendations.
A growing body of research shows that ivermectin is an essential treatment for COVID-19.
Many doctors have praised the drug for its broad yet effective antiparasitic, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and autophagic properties...

Top NIH official admitted to COVID origins scientists he used personal email, deleted messages, and scrubbed Fauci's 'fingerprints' to avoid transparency: Report - TheBlaze

A top adviser to Anthony Fauci at the National Institutes of Health appears to have tried his best to ensure the American people wouldn't know what he and the scientists looking into the origins of COVID-19 were privately discussing while publicly downplaying the lab-leak theory. His best efforts at obfuscation were evidently not good enough.

Just Stop Oil protesters disrupt London Pride over ‘polluting’ sponsors
"Just Stop Oil protesters have disrupted London’s Pride march in protest over the event accepting sponsorship money from “high-polluting industries”.
A number of protesters were arrested after blocking the road in front of a Coca-Cola truck.
The Metropolitan police said protesters sat in the middle of the road on Piccadilly at 1.30pm, causing the parade to stop....
Just Stop Oil has previously warned it would take action as it called on organisers of the major event to ban floats from “high-polluting” sponsors and to condemn new oil, gas and coal.
In a statement, LGBTQ+ members of the group said: “These partnerships embarrass the LGBTQ+ community at a time when much of the cultural world is rejecting ties to these toxic industries.”

What Caused a CNN Host to Quickly End Her Segment on Affirmative Action

What Caused a CNN Host to Quickly End Her Segment on Affirmative Action - Matt Vespa
"...(via The Blaze):
CNN host Abby Phillip ended a segment with a fair admissions advocate on Thursday when he used facts to demonstrate the downside of affirmative action.
Kenny Xu — a board member for Students for Fair Admissions, the plaintiff in the Supreme Court case — told Phillip that academic excellence, not race, "should be prioritized" in college admissions...
But Phillip pushed back
She asked why admissions boards should not consider "other factors" that students "bring to the table" like socio-economic background...
..."But you have to put them in scenarios, in places where they are likely to succeed. And lowering your standard to admit somebody of a socio-economic status or race would not help you do that. In fact, you would harm their graduation rate and excellence."
When Phillip tried to say the standards weren’t lowered, Xu whipped out data on SAT scores and admission rates, and the CNN host quickly fled to the bunker...

"First they came for the cars.

The latest on the chopping block? Wood-fired pizza
These types of tactics grab the headlines, but make no mistake: climate alarmism courses through the veins of the highest levels of government leaders and regulators.
As President Joe Biden would say, “I’m not joking, folks.”..
Because of its noble-sounding intentions and a sympathetic mainstream media, the preposterous nature of a world without carbon rarely gets the scrutiny that it deserves.
Until now.
For these reasons, the RealClearFoundation asked the Energy Policy Research Foundation (EPRF) to analyze the feasibility and consequences of a carbon-neutral world.
The results of the meticulous 92-page report weren’t pretty...

4 fired at West Michigan TV station after news leadership ordered scale back of Pride coverage - mlive.com
"GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Two members of news leadership and two staffers at WOOD TV8 have been fired after a leaked newsroom memo directed a scale back of LGBTQ Pride month event coverage to cow to unhappy viewers, according to reports...
  •  “We know that West Michigan is a conservative area in many ways,” the memo, obtained by MLive/The Grand Rapids Press, stated. “We need to recognize that some stories related to LGBTQ issues are going to be controversial and polarizing in our community. While you personally may not agree with a certain position, people are entitled to their opinions and they are our viewers.”
  • The memo went on to say that if there’s a news reason for a story, reporters should do it. But if it’s just more coverage of another Pride event, “that may not be a good enough reason to do the story.”
  • For Pride events that are covered, the memo asked staff to present “both sides” of the issue. The memo didn’t outline what the opposing side of a Pride event is.
  • “We should not cover every Pride event that we learn about,” the memo from the assistant news director stated. “We need to do some work to discern the newsworthy-ness of the event.
  • “If we are covering pride events we need to consider how to make the story balanced and get both sides of the issues.”
The memo was met with pushback from WOOD TV staff, a number of whom took to social media to publicly criticize it and voice their concerns...
