GROUNDBREAKING:
"Glamour’s ‘Women of the Year’ Are All Women.
What happened: A women’s fashion magazine, Glamour, honored its “Women of the Year” award winners at a swanky gala in London last week.
- All of the winners were actually women.
- The magazine’s “Women of the Year” honorees included female actress Millie Bobby Brown, female actress America Ferrera, female singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, female actress Ariana DeBose...
Why it matters: It’s a courageous (and potentially problematic) departure from contemporary social trends. In recent years, most “women of the year” lists were considered—by the people who care about such things—to be insufficiently “inclusive” if no transgender individuals were represented.

A suspect has not been arrested in the crime yet, but that didn't seem to stop the Detroit Police from reaching certain conclusions in their investigation.

The Greta Pivot | The Pipeline
"We've been saying it for years now -- Greta Thunberg, serial truant child activist, is getting desperate...
Consequently, Thunberg has been trying to pivot, transforming her image from the poster child for eco-anxiety to a full spectrum Leftist activist.
Will Greta's rebranding work? It's doubtful. She's aged out of her niche, and now she's attempting to fill a role that is already occupied by scores of activists.

Deadline Detroit | After Deadline Detroit's bad cops investigation, city started hiding most officer discipline
- Behind the scenes, however, the city was working to shield such records from the public.
- That same month, under the direction of a new top lawyer, Conrad Mallett, it implemented a policy that prevents the release of officer disciplinary records older than four years.
- Documents more than four years old told us, for example, that an officer who initiated a bad chase that killed two kids and wounded three more in 2015 had been involved in another deadly chase that violated policy just six months prior.
- The department, the records showed, did not intervene significantly either time — neither with suspension, nor with retraining...
