CNN host scolds his own audience, dishes out the truth after they hope DOJ treats Trump unfairly: 'Wrong answer!' | Blaze Media

"Oh, come on — come on, guys! Ladies!" Smerconish exclaimed.

"My disappointment is — put that camera on me for a second — it's not that lopsided a question. It is not a 90-percenter. Like, you're making me think that if instead the poll question today was, 'Why don't we just dispense with the trial and move right to the sentencing phase?' That would probably beget 82% of the audience today," he chided.

"No. That's the wrong answer — at least by that margin," he scolded.

The takeover | Power Line

The takeover | Power Line - SCOTT JOHNSON
"In her February 26 Tablet column “The takeover,” Neetu Arnold traces the relationship among international student recruitment, DEI policies, and left-wing activism on American campuses...
Something new and peculiar stands out about the wave of anti-Israel student activism that has rocked American university campuses since October:
There is a visibly more radical element to these protests. Student activists almost seemed to take glee in Hamas’ massacre of innocent civilians—when they weren’t denying that it happened at all.
The antisemitic rage struck a different tone than the typical anti-Israel fare that has become a central part of American student activism since Students for a Democratic Society formed in the 1960s.
So what changed?
The answer is clear to anyone who watched the videos: these student protests are no longer composed solely of left-wing American students steeped in critical theory and post-colonial ideology.
The protests are now havens for foreign students, especially those from Arab and Muslim countries, with their own set of nationalist and tribal grievances against Israel and the United States...

New research, psych experts call left-wing leaders 'psychopathic'

But as for the increasingly totalitarian ruling elites themselves – from the “let’s cut off kids’ body parts and engineer a massive foreign invasion of America” Biden administration to the “let’s terrify everyone about global warming and insist they eat insects while we dine on steak” globalist crowd?

They’re just evil.

When Science Journals Become Activists - by Patrick T Brown - PATRICK T BROWN
  • Spinning climate data to fit a policy agenda undermines public faith in science.
"Public trust in many mainstream publications continues to consistently decline
Part of the reason for this seems to be that media outlets cater more and more to the ideological tastes of specific groups, sacrificing their credibility to a wider audience in the process.
I have criticized the New York Times, for example, for exaggerating the impacts of climate change, but this type of criticism may be in vain if they are covering climate exactly how their audience wants them to...
Two recent articles serve to illustrate the point.
The first is titled:
  • Surge in extreme forest fires fuels global emissions. Climate change and human activities have led to more frequent and intense forest blazes over the past two decades.
The second is titled:
  • Climate change is also a health crisis—these graphics explain why…Rising temperatures increase the spread of infectious diseases, claim lives, and drive food insecurity.
Between these two news articles, we have four claims:
  • one on wildfires,
  • one on infectious disease,
  • one on deaths, and
  • one on food security.
Let’s scrutinize each claim one by one.
  • Are wildfires and their carbon emissions increasing?...

r, Republican introduces bill forcing ICE to retain illegal aliens for theft | Blaze Media

In response to the brutal murder of Laken Hope Riley, a Republican lawmaker has introduced legislation that would require the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain any illegal immigrants charged with theft or burglary. Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) introduced the Laken Riley Act on Friday, which would "require the Secretary of Homeland Security to take into custody aliens who have been charged in the United States with theft, and for other purposes." The bill is dedicated to Laken Riley, the 22-year-old college nursing student who was recently murdered on the campus of the University of Georgia. Riley died from blunt force trauma.

Canada Goes Full 'Minority Report': Proposed 'Hate Speech' Bill Is Dystopian Nightmare - Amy Curtis
"Our neighbors to the north are poised to pass sweeping 'hate crime' legislation, which is an Orwellian way of saying censorship.
If passed, the legislation could compensate victims of 'hate speech' $20,000 and see offenders put in prison for life. You can read about it here.
And if you think this sort of thing can't happen here, well, we hate to break it to you, but the Left has called for 'common sense' limits on the First Amendment for a while and they hate the Constitution....

What's wrong with nuclear power..? - by Tom Ed
  • Why is the greenest and most reliable energy source not being embraced...
"One of the more glaring blind spots of the green movement - other than supporting mass immigration with its increased consumerism, energy consumption and demand for housing - is its opposition to nuclear energy.
Running a Nuclear Power plant generates no CO2, so you’d think a low carbon power source to combat their catastrophic man-made climate change hysteria might be something they could get their limp handshakes behind but no...
You have to hand it to the Green movement. The German Greens during their time in coalition closed Germany’s nuclear power plants, causing the country to become more dependent on fossil fuels, notably those imported from state-owned companies in Russia. It might look like a monumental failure until you realize that Gerhard Schroeder, the Chancellor of the SPD-Green coalition government, subsequently went on to work for Russian energy companies Nord Stream AG, Rosneft, and Gazprom. Mmm. Additionally, the Germans evidently seem unaware that a coal power plant gives off at least ten times more radiation than a nuclear power plant...

  • The Biden-Harris regime, consistent with its record of daily lawbreaking, has just illegally canceled another $1.2 billion in student loan debt owed by about 150,000 borrowers whose individual loans were about $12,000 each.
"This is just the latest, on top of three years of other incremental student loan cancellations, totaling about $138 billion in unpaid student loan debt so far, owed by almost four million voters, some of which is still tied up in court, but the regime’s actions have severely jeopardized the government’s ability to ever collect, even if these illegal acts are properly overturned...
