Democratic state senator doesn't get her way, so she threatens riots: 'Gloves out' | Blaze Media

Democratic state senator doesn't get her way, so she threatens riots: 'Gloves out' | Blaze Media:

Democratic politicians frequently concern-monger about supposed threats to democracy. However, when democratic processes produce results they don't like, they're often the first to make threats or champion violence. Tennessee state Sen. Charlane Oliver (D) recently expressed outrage over the passage of a bill that would prevent local officials from introducing policies or ordinances that limit the ability of police to properly fulfill their duties. Since voters elected not to empower a sufficient number of lawmakers with Oliver's leftist worldview to kill the bill, the cofounder of the identitarian activist group Equity Alliance suggested an alternative means of getting her way.

Hertz CEO out following electric car ‘horror show’

“They don’t want to go 20 minutes out of their way at five in the morning to find a charging station,”
"...The company, which announced in January it was selling 20,000 of the electric vehicles in its fleet, or about a third of the EVs it owned, is now replacing the CEO who helped build up that fleet, giving it the company’s fifth boss in just four years....
Part of the problem for Hertz was that even people who might want to buy an EV wouldn’t necessarily want to rent one while on the road, when they don’t necessarily have the ability to plug them in to charge them as they would at a private home...

More than 10,000 migrants were apprehended in the Tucson Sector during the past week, according to an unofficial Border Patrol report posted on social media by Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin. Guilty!—But Not Really Guilty?

A cynical public now expects any accused prominent leftist to remain unindicted, while any non-leftwing target will be indicted, convicted, and jailed—for the same alleged offenses. - Victor Davis Hanson
  • In 2011, then Homeland Security Advisor to President Obama, John Brennan, swore before Congress that drone-targeted assassination missions near the Pakistani border had not led to “a single collateral death.”
That was an obvious lie with grave consequences, given that Brennan was sworn under oath and was one of the top officials in the US national security community. Yet there were no subsequent repercussions......
  • In 2013, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper also lied under oath to Congress when he laughably stated that the National Security Agency did not spy on American citizens.
Later, when called out by senators, Clapper fudged in a televised interview. “I responded in what I thought was the most truthful, or least untruthful, manner by saying no.”...Nothing happened...
  • As far as Eric Holder, he had earlier defied a congressional subpoena and was held in contempt by the House.
The Department of Justice, however, chose not to pursue the complaint.

  • Later in the Trump administration, Trump adviser Peter Navarro would be sentenced to four months in jail for similarly resisting a congressional subpoena.
Was it a crime or not to resist a congressional subpoena?...

Google has ‘interfered’ with elections 41 times over the last 16 years

‘No organization has more control over information than Google,’ Brent Bozell told Fox News - Brian Flood
Gutfeld: Can Google be trusted when their credibility is busted?
  • Google has "interfered" with major elections in the United States 41 times over the last 16 years, according to a new study from the Media Research Center.
"MRC researchers have found 41 times where Google interfered in elections over the last 16 years, and its impact has surged dramatically, making it evermore harmful to democracy.
In every case, Google harmed the candidates – regardless of party – who threatened its left-wing candidate of choice...

Gender 'studies' exposed as something far more disturbing than actual studies - WND - by WND Staff

Gender 'studies' exposed as something far more disturbing than actual studies - WND - by WND Staff:

Explained Liberty Counsel, "For several years, we have been told that gender dysphoria must be treated by affirming the patient’s delusion and poisoning the patient with cross-sex hormones while waiting for body mutilation surgeries to remove healthy organs. How many times have we been told that 'the science is settled'? Well, it turns out 'the science' isn't settled. In fact, what the so-called gender industry has been shoving down our throats is not science at all."

Biden's media covers for him again!-----ABC, CBS Bury NY Post Bombshell on Suspected Terrorist Caught at the Border

.., he was asked what he was doing in the US, to which he replied, ‘I’m going to try to make a bomb,’
"Published Sunday online and on the front page of Monday’s print edition, our friend Jennie Taer at the New York Post dropped a bombshell that an illegal immigrant recently detained at the border told Customs and Border Protection officials not only is he a member of the Lebanon-based, Iranian-linked Islamic terrorist group Hezbollah, but he wanted to travel New York to carry out a terror attack with a bomb.
  • Not surprisingly, none of this was mentioned on Sunday night or Monday morning by the major broadcast networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC on their flagship morning or evening news shows. On Monday evening, it was the same story with ABC and CBS, but NBC Nightly News broke ice -- albeit with a short, 45-second report...

Biden's Once-Acclaimed Nominee for US Attorney Suffers Brutal Fall from Grace, Ability to Practice Law Suspended

Biden's Once-Acclaimed Nominee for US Attorney Suffers Brutal Fall from Grace, Ability to Practice Law Suspended:

A former U.S. attorney who resigned last year amid a DOJ investigation into unethical conduct and who was once a top candidate touted by Joe Biden and Democrats, now has even more trouble coming her way.

Former U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins was forced to resign in disgrace in May from her position as a U.S. attorney for Massachusetts after the Department of Justice launched a corruption investigation into her, WBUR reported at the time. And now, a year later, she has lost her law license.

Rollins’s beginning was far more auspicious when in July of 2021, Joe Biden and his Democrats nominated her for the position in the Old Bay State.

"Attorney General Merrick Garland appeared alongside Vice President Kamala Harris in Selma, Alabama on Sunday where he pledged to fight voter ID laws and other election integrity measures that he deemed "discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary."
He lamented that in recent years, certain measures such as voter ID laws and redistricting maps have made it harder "for millions of eligible voters to vote and to elect the representatives of their choice."...
He pointed to having doubled the number of lawyers in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division...

Blinken says authoritarian regimes using tech to undermine democracy

"...authoritarian and repressive regimes deploy technologies to undermine democracy and human rights...
SEOUL (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Monday technology should be employed to sustain democratic values in the face of efforts by authoritarian and repressive regimes to deploy technology to undermine democracy and human rights.
Like-minded governments and their people were working together to promote free and fair elections, Blinken said, noting safeguarding democracy was a collective effort.
"As authoritarian and repressive regimes deploy technologies to undermine democracy and human rights, we need to ensure that technology sustains and supports democratic values and norms," he said at the opening of the Summit for Democracy in South Korea.

The Most "Non-Pretending" and Brutally Honest Video So Far This Year - The Last Refuge

This video is buckets of brutal and pragmatic honesty. So much so, that it’s actually stunningly refreshing.
"In an era where everything is seemingly constructed around false pretenses, manufactured narratives and just plain nonsense, the cold reality of truth stands as a beacon that draws attention from those who just know that things are not right.
  •  Watch this video and see a woman who is completely unafraid to state the truth without pretending.

U.S., like China, may end up with massive 'EV graveyards' - WND - by Richard Blakley

U.S., like China, may end up with massive 'EV graveyards' - WND - by Richard Blakley:

In 2022, China was the world leader in "clean cars," “producing around 6 million EVs and plug-in hybrids" and accounting for "60% of the world’s current electric fleet and has the most extensive EV charging infrastructure on Earth – also built with government support."

In comparison, a December 2023 report stated that there are only about "3 million electric cars on the road in the U.S." March 2023 USA Facts reports that there were about 56,000 EV charging stations across the U.S., and President Joe Biden allocated $7.5 billion for EV chargers in his 2021 "Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act."

Lansing’s $402M pension problem could become ours

City’s unfunded pension debt continues to grow, even with state help
"The city of Lansing pays pensions to 1,790 former employees, but it lacks a fully funded pension system.
If the city fails to fully fund its pension obligations, the burden will fall upon future taxpayers, says James Hohman, budget director at the Mackinac Center.
  • Lansing’s net pension liability was $402,497,602 as of June 30, 2023, according to the city’s latest annual report.
That’s the gap between what the city owes the members of its workforce and what it has available (and expects to have available) to pay out...
  • Lansing saw an increase in its unfunded liability from 2022, even with an $11 million pension grant from state taxpayers. The city had $371,959,895 in net pension liability back then...
