Chinese national accused of smuggling BIOWEAPON into America | Blaze Media

FBI Director Kash Patel made a scary announcement this week — that a Chinese national has been accused of trying to smuggle a dangerous biological pathogen into the United States.

“I can confirm that the FBI arrested a Chinese national within the United States who allegedly smuggled a dangerous biological pathogen into the country,” Patel wrote in a post on X.

According to Patel, Yunqing Jian “is alleged to have smuggled a dangerous fungus called ‘Fusarium graminearum,’ which is an agroterrorism agent, into the U.S. to research at the University of Michigan, where she works.”

Everything You Need to Know about Government, in a Single Story-International Liberty - Dan Mitchell
I just read a story in the Washington Post that perfectly captures the inherent waste and inefficiency of the public sector.
Here are some excerpts.

  • The 52-unit building under construction will house people making far below the area’s median income.
  • Half will be newly released from incarceration.
  • But the building’s development cost is enough to make the neighborhood’s wealthier residents blink: $1.2 million per apartment.
That tab will be picked up in large part by taxpayers...
The D.C. building, called Ontario Place, will include a rooftop aquaponics farm to produce fresh fruits and vegetables for its tenants, whose rents will be capped at well below market rates...
By the way, it isn't just just D.C. that is a cesspool of waste.
This is quite common in big cities controlled by the left. The article cites absurd projects in Chicago and San Francisco....

The survey asked respondents, “Do you think Democrats actively tried to conceal information about Joe Biden’s health from the public during his presidency?”

...It was Maxine Waters.
  • Not necessarily Mad Max, but the fact she was just assessed a $68K fine for multiple federal election law violations.
  • Then I thought about Dinesh D'Souza who, a few years ago was convicted of exceeding campaign finance limits by $20K. His penalty? Eight months of overnight incarceration in a confinement center, $25K fine, mandatory psychiatric counseling, followed by 5 years of probation.
You know the difference.
  • Max Max is a prominent, sitting Democrat who will not doubt have her fine paid out of campaign cash.
  • Dinesh is an outspoken conservative who suffered personally.

Two Israeli Diplomats were executed coming out of a Jewish museum in Washington the other day.
Tragic on its own terms, it was also tragic because it is wholly unremarkable when you realize this is just one more small step up the permission scale and was entirely foreseeable.
  • If you want to assign blame, you have to focus your gaze on today’s Democrat party, which has conflated speech with violence, allowing violence as a response to speech, said that illegal aliens have the full due process rights of people in the criminal justice system, and egged on violent, totalitarian protest from those on the left...
A friend wrote to me, “There’s no difference between today’s Democrats and 1960s radicals.”
Ah! but there is.
Women have been more radicalized than they were in the 1960s.
During the 1960s, while women participated, including in the most extreme groups, most were milder than their male peers.
That’s no longer true.
There’s been a fundamental change in women’s societal roles from traditional to anti-traditional...

Supreme Court rules unanimously in heterosexual woman's discrimination case | Fox News

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled unanimously in favor of an Ohio woman who claimed she was discriminated against for job promotions in favor of gay candidates. The ruling, Ames v. Ohio Department of Youth Services, finds that members of majority groups in protected classes do not need to meet a higher standard of evidence in order to establish discrimination. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote the opinion of the court in the 9-0 decision.

Expert warns of CCP threat as Chinese nationals caught with biological pathogen | Fox News

Following news that two Chinese nationals were charged with allegedly smuggling a "dangerous biological pathogen" into the U.S. to study at an American university, Fox News Digital spoke to an expert on China who said the arrests should be a wake-up call to the country.  "I was entirely unsurprised, which is a sad commentary, but it speaks to the Chinese Communist Party, the CCP wants to kill Americans," Michael Sobolik, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute focusing on U.S. and China relations, told Fox News Digital after FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrests of the two Chinese nationals.

There is clear evidence!

HAVE WE REACHED PEAK WINDMILL?

HAVE WE REACHED PEAK WINDMILL? Ah, where would... - Jacques Voorhees | Facebook - Jacques Voorhees
The alarmist class shifted from predicting we were all going to die from a new ice age (mid seventies) to we were all going to die from the Earth overheating (late seventies).
It's been many years now since these things were supposed to have happened:
  • a) The Arctic, ice free.
  • b) Polar bears extinct (they're at record #'s)
  • c) Famines sweeping the world. (Food poverty is shrinking.)
  • d) Coastal cities inundated and unlivable. (Nope.)
  • e) Islands like the Maldives completely underwater. (Instead, they're building four new airports there and tourism is booming.)
  • f) Hurricanes increasing in strength and frequency (The trend line is fewer of them, and less powerful.)
  • g)The Earth becoming uninhabitable. (According to NASA, the Earth is "greening" rapidly with plant growth at record levels.)...MANY more!!

Running it like their own business!

Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch may have just read the minds of the majority of citizens in his home state of Alabama who've had it with teen gang violence.
  • A 2-year-old boy was shot in the face while he was in bed at St. Stephens Woods Apartments in Prichard around 1 a.m. Wednesday, WKRG-TV reported.
  • 'And a message to the gang members is, "I dare you to pull a gun on one of my guys. Could be the last thing you do."'...

School board says 'family' is a white supremacist term | Blaze Media

Being objective is also considered a characteristic of 'white supremacy' culture, according to faculty member. - Andrew Chapados
A school board distributed the teachings of a faculty member who was hired through a race-based initiative to tell staff that families are a product of white supremacy.
The faculty member, Dr. Laura Mae Lindo, focuses her research on "addressing social justice" and was hired at a local university through what is known as a "black hiring cluster."
The "equity-based" hiring initiative was for black and "Indigenous" people only, with Lindo being one of 10 ethnicity-based hires.

Quiet Skies airport watchlist program terminated by DHS amid political concerns | Fox News

Quiet Skies airport watchlist program terminated by DHS amid political concerns | Fox News

The department says the agency was overly politicized to either benefit or hurt specific people and ran a bill of roughly $200 million annually. According to DHS, the program kept a watchlist as well as a list of people exempted. The department says Quiet Skies has not prevented any terrorist attacks but will continue to use other methods to assure safe air travel.

"It is clear that the Quiet Skies program was used as a political rolodex of the Biden Administration — weaponized against its political foes and exploited to benefit their well-heeled friends. I am calling for a Congressional investigation to unearth further corruption at the expense of the American people and the undermining of US national security," DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement.

Professor Jack Lipton is currently suing the university trustees following what he says is a targeted campaign against him for criticizing former Chair Rema Vassar.
  • According to Chola it is “racist” to call a raucous group of protesters who are disrupting the flow of a board meeting a “mob.”...
