Read this BEFORE you send you children to any college!-----Perpetual Disruption

A friend who works in the finance world would routinely caution his people not to get too used to high-flying salaries, or to commit themselves to lifestyles that required them going forward, because one disruption - one "better mousetrap" invented by a competitor - could knock them all back down to earth. - Peter Venetoklis
  • I saw his caution play out among other friends and acquaintances, as their big bucks jobs disappeared and they had to seek other professions as a result.
  • Heck, it happened to my gaggle in the 1990s, when Reagan's defense buildup ceased and a flood of young aerospace engineers moved into a range of non-engineering professions.
All this came to mind as I read about how Artificial Intelligence is killing jobs en masse in the tech sector, and drying up many of the perks for those that remain...
Such is the way of progress.
In economics, it is called "creative destruction," and we find examples of it ranging back to the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution...

'This is HUGE!' Appeals court kills wild half-billion dollar penalty against President Trump * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

The Washington Examiner confirmed the five-judge panel of the appellate division in New York threw out the judgment delivered by Arthur Engoron, a judge at the entry court level who has been openly derisive of Trump. The ruling said his judgment was unconstitutional and violated the U.S. Constitution, which bars excessive fines.

The Guardian also took note of Nigerian support for Trump.
  • Portraits of Trump have grown more common among the impressionist depictions of notable figures often sold from open stalls on the streets of Nigeria,” the outlet reports.
  • “Although perceptions of Trump vary across Nigeria’s diverse cultural and religious landscape, there is a large affinity towards him, fostered years before he entered politics when his larger-than-life image as a bombastic, straight-talking, self-made billionaire made his books a hit here.”...

Target CEO Who Steered Struggling Retail Giant Into Wokeness to Step Down: Company 'Lost Its Grip'

The leadership change comes as Target reels from years of poor decisions, ideological distractions, and a consumer base that found other options.

Cornell’s departure was widely expected, but some analysts had urged Target to bring in an outside voice. Instead, the board stuck with an insider, CNN reported.

Wait...there's more!-----Meet Steve Descano — Democrat, Best Friend to Violent Illegals, and the Reason ICE Is So Busy - Teri Christoph

Oh, how smug and sanctimonious the terminally-online left was on Wednesday afternoon when a Washington, D.C.-based reporter posted a video of a Hispanic man being arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Department and federal law enforcement agencies.
  • The only context given by the reporter was that the poor man just wanted to be with his family.
Already incensed over President Trump's law enforcement takeover of D.C.—and ever-so-prone to taking things at face value and not asking questions—a stream of leftist voices immediately fired up their X accounts to condemn the arrest.
Everyone's favorite Democrat stooge, Jessica Tarlov, showed her commitment to willful ignorance by retweeting the video and dramatically adding, "The cruelty is always the point."

There's just one thing: the man being arrested, David Perez-Teofani, a Mexican illegal, wasn't the hard-working family man the left and Jessica Tarlov so desperately wanted him to be...Perez-Teofani had been arrested in 2024 for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 15. Not only that, he had illegally entered the U.S. three times and had ignored "a final order of removal."..

Good intentions don't always lead to good actions or good results.

Milton Friedman understood that when we abandon voluntary cooperation for coercion—even with the best of intentions—we've already lost the moral argument.

Major U.S. chain: 'We will not open or operate retail stores in California' * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

He continues, "This decision isn't about politics – it's about reality. California has created one of the most overregulated, expensive, and risky environments for businesses in America. It's a system that makes it harder to employ people, harder to keep doors open, and harder to deliver value to customers."

Ya think??!!-----Comer said the revelations cast serious doubt on who was really calling the shots inside the Biden White House...

Ian Sams, the former White House spokesperson who spent years defending Joe Biden’s mental acuity, admitted under oath that he interacted with Biden only twice during his entire tenure. - Matt Margolis
  • That’s not just unusual; it’s evidence of a carefully managed operation designed to conceal Biden’s true condition from the American people.
  • For years, Sams went before cameras, insisting Biden was sharp and in control while privately having no access to him whatsoever.
  • If that doesn’t expose the depth of this cover-up, nothing will.
