When Reason Dies - by Michael Smith - Unlicensed Punditry
America’s immigration debate reveals a broader collapse of logic, language, and responsibility—and Minnesota shows where it leads. - Michael Smith
Last night I posted on Facebook that I want Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, and Jacob Frey to answer ten very simple questions like “Does America have a border?”
There was not a single question on that list for which the factual answer is anything other than “yes.” None of them rely on emotion, interpretation, or ideology.
In The Age of Reason, Thomas Paine wrote:There is a great deal of that going around these days.
“To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.”

They simply describe what is, not what some people wish were true.
And unless we get our arms around the emotional instability now driving American political life, we are cooked—aluminum foil in the microwave, timer set to ten minutes, cooked.
Why?

Why?
- Because no issue—large or small—is being approached through truth or reason anymore...

'Without citing evidence': NYT steps on a rake trying to attack Trump administration over fraud crackdown | Blaze Media:
Following the publication of Kim's piece, American Enterprise Institute fellow Ruy Teixeira stressed that "the first response of Democrats to instances like the Minnesota fraud findings should not be to criticize the other side for attacking them and wave the bloody shirt of racism against President Trump but rather to stress the seriousness of the problem and how it will not be tolerated."

"This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement," she said. "These men and women who are simply enforcing the law on the books are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats."
You can't despise the liberal-media enough!-----Media Malpractice: MS NOW Interviews a 'Trump Supporter' in Minneapolis ... Wearing a BLM Hoodie
Practically since the day Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States, the dead legacy media has been desperate to drive a wedge between his voter base. - Grateful Calvin
While the President's overall approval among Republicans remains at record highs.
- Apparently, MS NOW's Katy Tur...tracked down an enthusiastic Trump supporter named Cassius Price in Minneapolis, only to be shocked -- SHOCKED! -- to find out that he was extremely critical of the President's reaction to an ICE agent justifiably shooting a leftist woman who tried to run him over...

Michael Smith - I want Tim Walz, Keith Ellison and Jacob Frey to answer these 10 simple questions.
- and I will make it easy for them because the answer to all of them is "yes": - Michael Smith1. Does the US have a border?
2. Does the US have laws that govern immigration?
3. Do those laws include the legal term "illegal alien" and define what that means?
4. Do the Executive Branch and its agencies have the sole constitutional duty and responsibility - including the creation and operation of immigration courts - to enforce these laws?
5. Isn't it true that the Supreme Court has ruled the states have no duty or responsibility - other than to cooperate with the Federal government - in the enforcement of immigration law?
6. Is there due process defined in these laws?
7. Is detention and deportation required as a consequence of breaking these laws?
8. Is there a Supremacy Clause in the Constitution?
9. Does that clause mean that Federal law supersede state law in matters where they disagree?
10. Is Donald Trump your president?

In the latest example of the pattern we aren’t supposed to notice, a hammer-wielding attacker at the home of Vice President J.D. Vance in Ohio is allegedly a man who identifies as a woman named Julia and whose wealthy parents are Democratic donors, the New York Post reported.
100% driven by the LEFT's murderous rage!-----Here's How Many Vehicle Rammings Incidents ICE Has Faced in the Last Year
In the last year, ICE and CBP agents have been involved in more than 100 such incidents. - Amy Curtis“We are seeing the results of the Left’s constant demonization of the men and women of law enforcement.
Dangerous criminals – whether they be illegal aliens or U.S. citizens – are turning their vehicles into weapons to attack ICE and CBP,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.
- Since January 20, there have been 99 vehicle attacks against federal law enforcement, more than doubled compared to the 47 attacks faces during the same period last year.
- There have been 71 vehicular attacks against CBP since January 20, compared to 45 vehicle assaults during the same period in 2024 – a 58% increase.
- There have been 28 vehicular attacks against ICE since January 20, compared to just 2 such incidents in the same period of 2024 – a 1,300% increase.
This is all a direct result of the inflammatory rhetoric of Democrats, who have called ICE agents the Gestapo and fascists for more than a year...
