Trump's move in the narco state formerly known as Maduroland is the nexus of several threads and possibilities.

With this one move, the Trump administration has turned the screws on at least a half a dozen global troublemaking regimes. - Michael Smith
1. Cuba is like Obamacare, it needs massive subsidies to survive. We are now in the FO part of the FA.
2. Russia needs oil prices to stay up, when Venezuela's very productive fields come back online (Chavez destroyed their exploration, production, and refinery capacities after kicking out the people who knew how to manage those aspects), oil prices could drop to $50 a bbl (US producers can still make money at around $35 a barrel). That means less revenue to the Russian government - and that means less money to fund Ukraine operations.
3. Iran is watching and in the middle of massive protests. This could be the Iranian people's moment for their own regime change.
4. China has massive investments in South America - mostly in countries they prop up, so this has to have their attention.
5. The US's new use of direct action when the talk runs out has the narcos attention as well. Maybe even Mexico is paying attention now...

Instapundit - MINNEAPOLIS IS NOT EVEN A CLOSE CALL

A Lawsplainer On Officer-Involved Shootings. - Ed Driscoll
MINNEAPOLIS IS NOT EVEN A CLOSE CALL
Just a fraction of a second later you see the ICE Officer drawing his firearm — her wheels are still straight. That’s the moment he decided to use deadly force — he recognized at that moment the fact that she was about to run him over. He resorted to deadly force in self-defense and defense of others.
That’s it.

As a federal prosecutor, if tasked to evaluate the lawfulness of his decision to use deadly force, I would have cleared him based on these four images and the video source alone...

Okay regardless of where you are on the political spectrum. - Nick Freitas

Okay regardless of where you are on the political spectrum.
When you found out that an ice agent had shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis.

You had some preconceived notions, if you were on the right, you were probably thinking that, well, given my understanding of the context and ice carrying out its duties, chances are it was probably justified, but then you wanted to learn about the context you wanted to see pictures.
You wanted to see video, you wanted to see video from multiple angles.
You wanted to get some idea of what had actually been going on and led up to this moment because you wanted to determine logically whether or not your preconceived notion was accurate.

And based off what I've seen coming from the left you cared about none of that, the only thing that mattered.
Was that it was an ice agent and a woman protesting ice?
And that's all you needed to know.
Video didn't matter context didn't matter.
History didn't matter.
None of it mattered, it was all a question of whether or not it fit and helped your narrative.
And if the answer was yes, then that's what you repeated.
And if the answer was no, well, that was something to be ignored or manipulated.

And this is why I'm just not all that concerned about the analysis or moral ramblings of people on the left anymore.
Once you become uninterested in the facts, evidence and context of a particular case.
And look at it purely through the lens of whether or not it helps your ideological narrative.
You're no longer a reasonable person.
You're just an ideologue, and so what's the point of trying to have a conversation to convince one another when you have literally set up conditions where you cannot be convinced.
And that's where we're at.

Whitmer's Michigan.

A nationwide, metastasizing cancer!-----New Jersey School District Cannot Account for $20 Million in Missing Funds

Voters have two choices on how to resolve the issue: raise taxes or raise taxes. - Mary Chastain
To make matters worse, local officials project a $25 million deficit “over the next four years.”
September...
  • How did that happen?
  • The school district admitted the deficit “is due to years of unbudgeted for spending.”
“The deficit is the result of money that was spent and was not budgeted, and it appears to me that it’s been occurring over a couple of years,” said Interim School Business Administrator Dana Sullivan, as reported by Montclair Local. “It’s all coming crashing down.”...

Bombshell: Minnesota Welfare Administrators Made 'Systemic Effort' to Doctor and Even Fake Official Documents to Give out Massive 'Grants'

Not only were public dollars showered on groups without adequate safeguards against corruption, according to KARE, the audit found that Behavioral Health Administration staffers had engaged in a “systemic effort” to cover their tracks by doctoring or even faking documentation that was supposed to make sure public money was well spent.

“Frankly, in the 27-plus years I’ve been with the OLA, I’ve never seen this before,” Legislative Auditor Judy Randall told lawmakers, according to KARE, while presenting the audit’s findings.

What to Do If You're Shot 3X During Maduro Operation? If You're This Chinook Pilot, You Finish Mission

In fact, one helicopter pilot, who was the team leader and one of the planners of the mission, was hit three times. - Bob Hoge
That didn’t stop him, according to multiple reports...
As the damaged helicopter struggled to stay aloft and deliver its troops to their target...
The entire operation was in jeopardy:

...Or would the Chinook plummet into a hostile city and become a deadly echo of the Black Hawk helicopter that was shot down in Mogadishu, Somalia, in 1993 and ignited a fierce battle in which 18 U.S. troops died and 73 were wounded, at the time the deadliest single engagement for American troops since the Vietnam War?...

How the Minneapolis ICE agent who fired in self-defense was nearly killed by an illegal alien child rapist in June | Blaze Media

The agent who fatally shot Good is apparently no stranger to suffering injuries as the result of vehicular violence from radicals. In fact, he appears to be the ICE agent bloodied by another menace evading justice in Minnesota earlier this year.

Important read!!-----Watt, Me Worry? Record-Setting "Capacity" Can't Keep the Lights On

One of the clearest signs that the Energy Transition is failing miserably - Mitch Rolling and Isaac Orr
“If a wind turbine is installed on the North Dakota prairie, but it isn’t spinning, does it even exist?”- Anonymous
The prevailing narrative surrounding the power sector is that America’s grid is short of watts, and that we need to vastly increase our power generation capacity to avoid rolling blackouts and meet surging demand for data centers and reindustrialization.
  • Given the state of the discourse, it may be hard to believe that America has more installed electricity capacity on its grid than ever before. But it’s true.
The problem is, so much of this capacity is from unreliable wind and solar facilities that provide almost no reliability value to the grid...
  • First, let’s set the stage...
