Why would any president destroy the U.S. southern border?
Not too long ago, Texas State Representative Gene Wu (D-Houston), chair of the Texas House Democratic Caucus, jumped the shark to say out loud what is usually left unsaid about the Democrat agenda:

2003 - In West Warwick, RI, 100 people were killed and more than 230 were injured when fire destroyed the nightclub The Station. The fire started with sparks from a pyrotechnic display being used by Jack Russel's Great White. Ty Longley, guitarist for the band, was one of the victims in the fire.
If there was a time for Democrats to flip on this issue, it was either 1) when the border crisis started under Biden or 2) when Trump started fixing the problem. (Without the border bill that Biden insisted he needed, mind you.)
They did neither, and not only did they cause the crisis but they enabled the dangerous backlash to commonsense law enforcement when they encouraged the wine-mommy revolutionaries out into the street.
Last week in the UK a fairly typical modern ‘scandal’ occurred.
In the past a scandal tended to mean a politician had been caught lying, having an affair, being a traitor, being engaged in self enriching corruption, being grossly incompetent in a way damaging to the nation, or having sick and perverse sexual tastes.
Today all of those are more likely to be obligatory or an explanation for a rapid promotion rather than career ending.
So what constitutes a scandal today?
