Gunasekara: How Trump EPA Upending Climate Scam Revives US Industry
Gunasekara: How Trump EPA Upending Climate Scam Revives US Industry:
Many influential people built their reputations and businesses off the climate hysteria. Some of the biggest beneficiaries of this scheme were Democrat-aligned investors who relied on the government to force the use of unreliable, expensive technologies no one wanted. More sinister, other beneficiaries included China and Russia — countries that stood ready to reap financial and geopolitical wins from the U.S. committing economic suicide in the name of climate activism.
Wow!!-----What Percentage of Our Economy Is Fake?
It's a question that I had not put too much thought into until recently, but in light of the revelations over the past year from DOGE, the current fraud investigations in Minnesota, Oregon, Maine, and California (and I hope that will soon expand to all 50 states), it really has struck me that a huge proportion of our economy is probably just money laundering. - David Strom
- Of course, we all understood at some vague level that there had to be a large amount of money laundering going on. The illegal drug trade alone is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and that is just one portion of a large black market.
- Most of that money has to be washed somehow, so it stood to reason that a lot of cash businesses were used to wash it.
- hundreds of billions—at least—of government expenditures go to fake nonprofits and businesses,
- and that likely a similar amount is sent out in inflated costs attached to legitimate government contracts,
it has been dawning on me and others that some significant fraction of our apparent economy amounts to storefronts that provide little to no actual goods and services.
Neuroscientist warns Gen Z first generation less cognitively capable than their parents | Fortune
The U.S. spent $30 billion to ditch textbooks for laptops and tablets: The result is the first generation less cognitively capable than their parents - Sasha Rogelberg
- In 2002, Maine became the first state to implement a statewide laptop program to some grade levels...
- In 2024, the U.S. spent more than $30 billion putting laptops and tablets in school...
Rather than empowering the generation with access to more knowledge, the technology had the opposite effect.
Earlier this year, in written testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, neuroscientist Jared Cooney Horvath said that Gen Z is less cognitively capable than previous generations, despite its unprecedented access to technology.

Google's 'America-India connect' plan expands tech empire, threatens U.S. digital sovereignty * WorldNetDaily * by Amanda Bartolotta:
For Americans watching Big Tech's loyalty drift from domestic priorities toward foreign-aligned infrastructure strategies, the question is no longer fringe. It is rational. If the next decade's AI economy runs on data centers, cables and labor pipelines, then the center of gravity matters.
And Google is very clearly helping move that center of gravity toward India.

Save this for your friends!-----Trump economy shows signs of major turnaround after Biden's poor policies | Fox News
Five important reasons why the Trump economy is about to really blast off - E.J. Antoni Fox News
- If you’re struggling to make sense of the economy today, you’re not alone.
Many so-called experts completely whiffed their forecasts, while positive economic data — the Dow Jones Industrial Average at 50,000 points — seemingly contradicts negative survey responses.
But understanding five key elements reveals we’re about to be off to the races.
- First, 2025 was a year of transition for the economy. Under Democrat President Joe Biden, particularly his last two years in office, job growth was disproportionately due to government hiring. Similarly, government purchases played an outsized role in growing overall economic activity, as measured by gross domestic product (GDP).
- The second element is the distinction between inflation and prices...
- Even if Congress doesn’t act, the good news is that income growth is helping solve the problem, albeit more slowly, and that’s the third element which has changed significantly in the economy...
- Because the economy is growing faster, tax receipts to the Treasury are up 11.8% this fiscal year...Shrinking the unproductive public sector while growing the private sector is a welcomed change, but it initially shows us as a negative in many economic metrics...
- That brings us to the final element: investment. Between tax and regulatory cuts along with Trump’s trade negotiations, trillions of dollars in investment are pouring into the country...
After years in the doldrums, the finish line of prosperity is fully in sight.
