At the Park: Why we are no longer a high-trust society.

Something I noticed at the playground was that many of the moms there accompanied their kids onto the playground, and stood near them while they played. - rushbabe49
  • Most of the kids had moms at the edge of the play area, and there were a bunch of blankets where the families had their picnic lunches and equipment...
I guess there’s no such thing as “free play” anymore.
My friends and I played together all day long, going to each other’s houses and ranging all over the neighborhood alone.
  • That doesn’t happen anymore.
  • And here’s one of the reasons why.

This adult male was sleeping just a few yards from the kids’ playground...
My guess is that parents today can’t leave their kids alone for even a short time, given that many parks (in all social strata of neighborhoods) are bordered by tents with homeless vagrants inside.
  • Their kids are in a certain amount of danger wherever they are, at all times of the day.

Time to TAX AI??!!

Trump Cabinet Meeting: Administration Oversaw 'Largest Drop in the Murder Rate Ever Recorded' in 2025

“We took the most dangerous, unsafe, violent, and open border in the world, anywhere in the world. There’s no border like the border we had, and [we] created the most secure border in the history of our country,” Trump said as he opened up the meeting, noting that the figures suggest that no one has come into the country illegally in the last 12 month period.

“Zero illegal aliens admitted to the United States in the last 12 months, and that’s — those charts are made by, you would say, politically unfriendly people… So it’s been zero,” he said, noting that he is surprised by that figure as well.

From Grammar School to the Pop Culture – What Radicalized Cole Allen?

By contrast, Cole Allen looks like a reasonably regular young man, a graduate of a prestigious university who never found his way in a career, and was still working as a tutor in his thirties, but who was otherwise unremarkable, certainly not someone who his friends and family would have thought capable of mass murder. - John F. Di Leo
His last-minute email to friends and family – which the press is calling his manifesto – provides the answer.
One sentence in the message should jump out to everyone:
“And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”
That’s the reason he gave.
Cole Allen believed he had the right – and perhaps the obligation – to singlehandedly wrest the levers of power away from such a criminal...

Pentagon releases declassified UAP files in Trump transparency push on UFOs | Fox News

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said the Trump administration’s newly declassified UAP files are exposing years of strange aerial sightings that government agencies failed to seriously dig into — even if the records do not point to recovered alien remains or ships.

"What’s being surfaced isn’t crashed ships or alien bodies, but real unexplained phenomena," Isaacman told Fox News Digital in an interview Friday.

Oregon Is Dangerously Close To Banning Hunting And Fishing | The Daily Caller

A hunting and fishing ban may be on the ballot in Oregon this November. - Spencer Lombardo
Initiative Petition 28 aims to expand Oregon’s animal cruelty laws to practically ban hunting, fishing, slaughtering livestock, and other practices, The Oregonian reported Tuesday.
It reportedly received over 120,000 signatures ahead of its July 2 deadline...
  • “We hope that a campaign like ours draws more people’s attention to the needs of the animals we currently intentionally injur [sic] and kill as a society (and recognize that they are the same needs that our companion animals also have), and that we prompt citizens to consider alternative strategies for meeting our own needs that don’t come at the expense of those animals’ needs,” petition organizer David Michaelson told the Daily Caller News Foundation...

Meet Cea Weaver. She’s an unabashed Communist and is working hand-in-hand with NYC Mayor Mamdani to expropriate private property through a new plan recently announced called “Block by Block”.

It’s now official policy of New York City. - Carl Clegg
Let me explain how it works:
  • By freezing rents and then fining landlords for every possible infraction, their goal is to wear them down to the point where they are ready to throw in the towel.
  • They are already losing money due to the rent freeze and higher property taxes, maintenance costs, and insurance.
  • The city will then buy the properties at fire sale prices and become the landlord.
  • What was once private property will become state property...

'Biden administration was busy writing checks to the enemy' * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

Joe Biden, the Democrat president whose bid for a second term dissolved into failure in 2024 when he appeared in a televised debate and delivered evidence of a significant mental decline, turned over to the terrorists of Hamas a billion American taxpayer dollars. It was delivered to an international agency supposedly helping refugees in Gaza, but in actuality went to the terror group that shortly later invaded Israel and slaughtered some 1,200 civilians, often horrifically, like burning whole families together.
