The Transatlantic Crucible: Why the Crisis Between Washington and Europe May Be a Blessing in Disguise

Eighteen months into his second U.S. presidential term, it may appear that Donald Trump has permanently altered his country’s relationships with its transatlantic allies... - David V. Gioe
Yet as bleak as the present state of the transatlantic alliance might look, it is also forcing a long-overdue transformation that could ultimately leave the alliance more capable and more balanced than it was before...
  • For beneath the mayhem and discord lies a counterintuitive possibility: the very crisis Trump created is forcing U.S. allies to develop military and intelligence capabilities that could eventually make Washington’s partnerships stronger than ever.
  • The truth is that for decades, the transatlantic relationship had a real free-rider problem.
Most European officials will concede that Trump’s second-term behavior—along with the rising threat from Russian revanchism—has finally convinced them to try to stand on their own feet in military and intelligence matters...

Something stinks in California!

Joe Biden mental fitness questions return after new interview | Blaze Media

Despite plenty of video footage showing former President Joe Biden stumbling through basic sentences and forgetting where those sentences were going, Jill Biden is once again dismissing concerns about his cognitive fitness.

In a recent interview on CBS with Rita Braver, Jill claimed more than once that Biden was “fine” when asked about his frequent gaffes.

“But what if that had happened during a meeting with foreign leaders or something like that?” Braver asked the first lady.

Read all!-----The E. Jean Carroll case rested on a sequence of legal maneuvers with no precedent in American civil litigation.

Democratic legislators passed a retroactive temporary law eliminating the statute of limitations for decades-old accusations that could not be dated, located, or defended with alibis.  - Bill Brindley
  • A Democratic mega-donor secretly funded the plaintiff’s legal costs through a nonprofit.
  • The arrangement stayed hidden until one of Trump’s lawyers discovered it...
  • The jury explicitly checked “no” on the verdict form’s specific rape question.
  • The judge ruled rape proven anyway, claiming the jury had used a common rather than statutory definition… an impossibility, since their rejection under the common definition precludes rape by any standard...

CBS Is 'First Major Network' to Tackle Suppression of COVID Vax Injuries by Biden FDA

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin praised CBS for allowing him to talk about a report released in April about the dark side of the COVID vaccine.

CBS News has shifted direction during the tenure of editor-in-chief Bari Weiss, which Johnson recognized in a social media post.

“Thank you, @MajorCBS, for being one of the first voices in the legacy media willing to discuss this massive government scandal,” Johnson wrote on May 26 in a post on X, singling out Major Garrett of CBS.

QotD: Rhodesia and the suicide of the West

The history of the twentieth century is a graveyard of nations, but few corpses refuse to stay buried quite like Rhodesia. - QotD
  • The story of Rhodesia is not only a regional tragedy, it is a civilisational warning.
It is the story of a state that was functional, prosperous, and militarily superior, yet was dismantled not by its enemies in the bush, but by the “kith and kin” of its own civilisational bloc.
  • It serves as a controlled experiment in the “Suicide of the West”, illustrating what happens when a civilisation loses the will to defend its own outposts
  • and succumbs to a “politics of cultural despair“...

It's another case of the cryptic "8647." And a U.S. senator says it's coming from the president of a school board who is "calling for the murder" of President Donald Trump. Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., shared an X post by Judy Moticka, president of the school board in Kirkwood, Missouri, who used the numeric term that some feel is a call to assassination.

Tragic: 30-Year Trans Kids Study Shows 6x Higher Psychiatric Morbidity with 'Gender Affirming Care' in Some Cases

In a nutshell, while gender-confused individuals have underlying psychiatric issues, getting transgender procedures often worsens their problems — particularly depression, anxiety, and suicidal inclinations.

Hypocrites!

Democrats like to talk about what they call “voter suppression”.

It is almost nonexistent, in the direction they refer to. - John F. Di Leo
But there is a type of voter suppression that nobody ever talks about, and is tragically real:
  • Republicans, who live in blue states, and even Republican-leaning independents in blue states who might be considering voting for a Republican candidate here and there, are very clearly dissuaded from voting by the pop culture, the polling establishment, and especially the mainstream media.
How does does the press talk about Governor campaigns in Illinois and California?
How does it talk about mayoral races in Los Angeles and New York City?
  • They only cover the Democrat candidates.
  • “Because no republican has a chance”.
And why does no Republican have a chance?
  • Because they only cover the Democrat candidates.
  • Something of a vicious circle, isn’t it?...

Where libs rule!

“Germany can no longer raise an army, simply because of how many Muslims are now German citizens”

“Now, allegedly, and I will say allegedly here, Germany's Chancellor Friedrich Merz has privately admitted that he's worried about the country's ability to raise an army, simply because Germany doesn't want to put weapons in the hands of hundreds of thousands of Muslim Germans.  - Wall Street Apes@WallStreetApes
  • And he'd be right in worrying, because a recent study of young Muslim Germans showed that nearly half expressed latent Islamist attitudes, which are, you know, the kind of attitudes that turn Muslims into terrorists, and more than half said that their religious commandments were more important to them than even German democracy.
And if you ask me, these don't sound like the attitudes of Germans.
  • These sound like the attitudes of Germany's enemies”...
