A Knife Intifada Coming to a Location Near You

A Knife Intifada Coming to a Location Near You | The American Spectator:
"Responding to the urging of their political and religious leaders, Palestinians have over the last few weeks taken to stabbing random Jews in Israel.
This new manifestation of their mass homicidal psychosis has come to be called the “knife intifada.” It’s a suicide attack, this time on a more intimate level.
The killer stabs as many passers by as he can before he is shot.
He is then celebrated as a martyr by his people, and his family is provided with a large money reward.
Many Palestinian mothers openly praise their dead progeny, and it is no wonder.
Mom acquires some capital, and she can always produce more children.
It’s a gruesome illustration of the law of supply and demand.
Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei recently encouraged these sorts of microaggressions on the theory that if you make life unpleasant enough for people, they’ll eventually move away.
It’s the flip side of the continued existence of Palestinian “refugee camps.”
Life is not unpleasant there.
All necessities are provided by the United Nations, including food, housing, schools and the like.
Life would be much harder anywhere else.
The “refugees” would be on their own."...

Child abuse!!!-----Christian Daycare Workers Fired for Refusing to Call a Little Girl a Boy

Christian Daycare Workers Fired for Refusing to Call a Little Girl a Boy:
HOUSTON, Texas — Two daycare workers have been fired for refusing to go along with the center’s transgender agenda. Madeline Kirksey, one of the workers who is an author of a Christian book, says her religious liberty rights have been violated.
The two were fired after refusing to call a little girl a boy.
The two male parents of a six-year-old little girl told employees at the school to refer to their daughter as a boy, and to call her by a new masculine name.
The little girl’s hair had also been cut like a boy’s.
Kirksey told Breitbart Texas in an interview, that the problem was not so much with the transgender issue as it was with telling young children that the little girl was a boy when she was not, and with calling her “John” (not the name given) when that was not her name.

VIDEO: Lt. Colonel Makes MASSIVE Accusation Against Obama Whitehouse... Spread This NOW:

"In a Thursday appearance on Fox News, retired Lt. Colonel Ralph Peters slammed the Obama administration’s response to the crisis in Syria, saying that the president is doing the “absolute minimum” possible and that his actions have been “inept and ineffective and cowardly.”

“We have a president whose vision of the world has been, remains and will remain divorced from reality,” Peters told host Bill O’Reilly on last night’s “O’Reilly Factor.”

With The ‘Transgender’ Movement, Liberalism Has Finally Descended Into Total Madness | TheBlaze.com:

"Feminists are the matriarchs of modern liberalism, and now they are watching as their movement dies, not by the hands of conservative Christians, but by gay men in dresses. Men are now barging their way into the female ranks and claiming not only membership, but headship, and feminists are required to shut up and cooperate. A few weeks ago, Glamour magazine declared Bruce Jenner “Woman of the Year.” Feminists were forced to applaud as a man was awarded the title of best woman. And most heroic woman. And most heralded, most admired, most womanly woman of all.

For years, feminists have insisted that they can do everything as well as men. Today, they must sit quietly while the gay lobby explains that, on the contrary, they can’t even be women as well as men."

Massive Non-Citizen Voting Uncovered in Maryland | PJ Tatler

Massive Non-Citizen Voting Uncovered in Maryland | PJ Tatler:

"An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland, alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the illegal voting has been happening for years.

The group, Virginia Voters Alliance, says that it compared how voters in Frederick County filled out jury duty statements compared with their voting records. The group’s investigation found that thousands of people in Frederick County who stated that they are not U.S. citizens on jury duty forms went on to cast votes in elections. "

Carson Says He Always Gets This ‘One Question’ — So on Facebook, He Decided to Address It Head On | TheBlaze.com:

"Republican presidential contender Ben Carson turned to Facebook Wednesday night to address concerns from those who complain he doesn’t have enough political experience to be commander-in-chief.

In a lengthy note, the retired neurosurgeon explained that he’s had several people ask him “what they should tell their friends when people say, ‘I like Carson but he has no political experience.’”

“You are absolutely right — I have no political experience,” he bluntly acknowledged. “The current Members of Congress have a combined 8,700 years of political experience. Are we sure political experience is what we need?”

If Obama had a city.....$3.7M extra paid in Detroit's blight fight

$3.7M extra paid in Detroit's blight fight:
"A controversial deal between Detroit’s land bank and several large contractors designed to speed up demolitions at a set price instead ended up costing the city at least $3.7 million more than expected, according to records reviewed by the Free Press.
Contracts awarded last summer to major demolition companies rose above what the Detroit Land Bank Authority said were take-it-or-leave-it prices, records show.
The land bank approved the higher payouts, which the demolition companies submitted as change orders — extra billings to cover costs in excess of the set price for each home demolition.
The higher costs meant fewer blighted eyesores would be torn down with the $20 million spent on contracts with three demolition companies.
The contractors demolished 1,453 houses, at an average price of $13,748 per home, between July and December last year, according to land bank records...
...The unit-price contracts awarded in June 2014 are only three of numerous demolition contracts now under heavy scrutiny because costs have soared under Duggan’s blight elimination program to an average of $16,400 per home, up from $8,500 to $10,500 under former Mayor Dave Bing.
The mayor's office said a recent round of demolitions put out to bid came in at $14,040, showing that prices are coming down..."

Panderer!!!-----Marco Rubio to Jorge Ramos: I Will Not Cancel Obama’s Executive Amnesty

Marco Rubio to Jorge Ramos: I Will Not Cancel Obama’s Executive Amnesty | Conservative Angle:
In a little noticed interview earlier this year Senator Marco Rubio told Univision’s Jorge Ramos that he would not cancel Obama’s executive amnesty.
Breitbart.com reported:
In a little-noticed interview earlier this year with Univision’s Jorge Ramos, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) declared that, as President, he would keep Barack Obama’s executive amnesty for DREAMers in place until it was permanently codified through legislation.
Rubio said, in part:
DACA…applies to young people that arrived in this country at a very young age before they were adults and I don’t think we can immediately revoke that… I’m not calling for it to be revoked tomorrow, or this week, or right away.
“I think it will have to end at some point and I hope it will end because of some reform to the immigration laws,” Rubio said in English.
So Rubio is pledging to carry Obama’s policy: leaving the executive amnesty for DREAMers in place until Congress submits to the order by legislatively ratifying amnesty. After a legislatively ratified DREAM Act, illegal aliens would be able to vote in U.S. elections and bring their relatives to work and collect entitlements in the United States.

NASA photos show the Antares rocket explosion in gritty detail

NASA photos show the Antares rocket explosion in gritty detail:
"When Orbital Sciences' Antares rocket exploded last year, your only real view at the time was a grainy video.
However, you should now have a much better sense of what happened: NASA has posted large photos from the failed launch on Flickr.
They not only show the incident in exceptional (almost uncomfortable) detail, but do a better job of illustrating the magnitude of what happened.
This was a very large vehicle coming down very quickly, and the impact enveloped much of the launch site in fire and smoke."

The Media is Finally Starting to Notice that Obamacare is a Disaster! - Eagle Rising

The Media is Finally Starting to Notice that Obamacare is a Disaster! - Eagle Rising:

"Those failures mean thousands of people lose their insurance, which leads us to the inevitable outcome of the Obamacare legislation. Either we move to full-blown socialism and single payer healthcare… or conservatives restore sanity to the marketplace and allow the free market to handle our healthcare needs once again.

Obamacare (AKA the Affordable Care Act) has been anything but affordable. In fact, under the Obamacare era our healthcare costs have actually risen faster (in most parts of the country) than before! In Mississippi rates increased by 60%, in Minnesota they went up by more than 50%, up 36% in Oklahoma, and 31% in Alaska, and on and on the list goes."

Not your imagination: ObamaCare premiums shot up by double digits for 2016

Not your imagination: ObamaCare premiums shot up by double digits for 2016 « Hot Air:
"This may seem redundant, given all of the attention to huge price spikes in the ObamaCare exchanges in states like Minnesota (between 34-50% for most plans) and Mississippi (over 60%). Even CBS News has begun to wake up to the rapidly escalating costs of insurance in the so-called Affordable Care Act exchanges.
Yet ObamaCare advocates argue that these price explosions are localized and not indicative of the overall direction of premium prices in 2016.
A new study shows that the price hikes are not just localized or anecdotal.
Megan McArdle picks up on an analysis by Avalere that shows an average 13% increase in the cheapest plans for subsidized mandatory coverage.
McArdle writes that this may not be the “death spiral” that critics predicted, but it’s an indication that the assumptions made by ObamaCare’s architects turned out to be dead wrong (via Guy Benson)..."

Conventional Wisdom Wrong

2016 Presidential Election -- Conventional Wisdom Wrong | National Review Online:
...Why?
Trump’s candidacy was largely created by underestimated popular outrage over the federal government’s politically motivated refusal to enforce immigration law.
That issue divides elites, who are not so much affected by their own open-borders advocacy, from the middle classes, who certainly are.
Trump saw that angry divide and so far has brilliantly capitalized on it.
Illegal immigration sent the Trump candidacy from nowhere to front-runner status — in much the same way that uncontrolled borders have all but imploded the once-popular German chancellor Angela Merkel.
After Barack Obama’s two successful presidential elections, liberal and supposedly far more inclusive Democrats declared themselves the only party that looks like the new multiracial America. Republicans, in contrast, were written off as mostly old white fogies — has-beens bitterly clinging to their fading prior privilege.
The campaign has exploded that myth too.
The Republican field is far more diverse, although the candidates see their ethnicity as incidental rather than essential, in bumper-sticker fashion, to their personas.
The candidates include the young (44-year-old Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, and Marco Rubio), the ethnically diverse (Cruz, Jindal, Rubio, and Ben Carson), and successful outsiders who do not have political backgrounds (Carson, Trump, and Carly Fiorina)...
The campaign has just started, and already past wisdom is proving to be ignorance — with more debunking to come.

Global Cooling: Decade Long Ice Age Predicted As Sun 'Hibernates'

Global Cooling: Decade Long Ice Age Predicted As Sun 'Hibernates' - Technocracy News
Scientists claim we are in for a decade-long freeze as the sun slows down solar activity by up to 60 per cent.
A team of European researchers have unveiled a scientific model showing that the Earth is likely to experience a “mini ice age” from 2030 to 2040 as a result of decreased solar activity.
Their findings will infuriate environmental campaigners who argue by 2030 we could be facing increased sea levels and flooding due to glacial melt at the poles.
However, at the National Astronomy Meeting in Wales, Northumbria University professor Valentina Zharkova said fluctuations an 11-year cycle of solar activity the sun goes through would be responsible for a freeze, the like of which has not been experienced since the 1600s.
From 1645 to 1715 global temperatures dropped due to low solar activity so much that the planet experienced a 70-year ice age known as Maunder Minimum which saw the River Thames in London completely frozen.
The researchers have now developed a “double dynamo “model that can better predict when the next freeze will be.
Based on current cycles, they predict solar activity dwindling for ten years from 2030.
Professor Zharkova said two magnetic waves will cancel each other out in about 2030, leading to a drop in sun spots and solar flares of about 60 per cent.

Sunspots are dark concentrations of magnetic field flux on the surface that reduce surface temperature in that area, while solar flares are burst of radiation and solar energy that fire out across the solar system, but the Earth’s atmosphere protects us from the otherwise devastating effects.
She said: “In cycle 26, the two waves exactly mirror each other, peaking at the same time but in opposite hemispheres of the Sun.
“We predict that this will lead to the properties of a ‘Maunder minimum.

Pension Predictions Fall Short

Pension Predictions Fall Short [Michigan Capitol Confidential]
The school pension system is in dire need of reform. It owes school employees and retirees $26.5 billion — 13 times more than the state owes its general obligation bondholders. Yet some policymakers think that they have already solved the problem with changes to the system made in 2010 and 2012. What has happened since shows why the state needs to get out of the defined-benefit pension business entirely.
pension ratesBack in 2012, legislative fiscal agencies modeled what would happen to contribution rates  — the percentage of schools’ payroll required to meet the costs of the system — with and without the reforms. They predicted that contribution rates would be 30.5 percent of payroll this year after the reforms.
Current rates are 36.3 percent of payroll, 19 percent higher than projected. And higher than fiscal agencies predicted they would be even without the 2012 reforms.
These projections for the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System went off the rails quickly and have underestimated real contribution rates since 2014.
The difference is caused by what we told them at the time: defined-benefit pension plans don’t get funded, they get underfunded.
The projections used by the legislative fiscal agencies assumed that the system would not develop any further unfunded liabilities. This was inaccurate. The system developed another $2.2 billion to the difference between what it has saved and what it has promised to pay out.
Underfunding the school employee pension system does a disservice to teachers, school boards and taxpayers alike. The state has failed to demonstrate that it can capably manage a large defined-benefit system, failing time and again to accurately project the real costs and to adequately pay those costs. That is why Michigan politicians ought to convert the system to a defined-contribution plan one where teachers are paid with real money rather than promises, and the costs to taxpayers are clear, transparent and controlled.
