BREAKING: Eight ISIS Members Arrested Masquerading as Syrian Refugees; What Now Obama?

BREAKING: Eight ISIS Members Arrested Masquerading as Syrian Refugees; What Now Obama?:

"Think about that. In the very country where Barack Obama stood and insulted every day American citizens and governors for their opposition to Syrian ‘refugees’ following the terrorist attacks in Paris, eight ISIS terrorists were arrested after they attempted to get into Germany via a detailed migration route. Just yesterday in Germany, a stadium where a soccer match between Germany and the Netherlands was set to take place was evacuated after police discovered an ambulance parked outside filled with explosives."

YET ANOTHER PLACE WHERE POLITICIANS HAVE CHOSEN FUTURE DISASTER IN EXCHANGE FOR PRESENT-DAY POLITICAL ADVANTAGE: The Pension Problem Is Worse Than You Think.
It’s not just stagnating cities in states like California or Illinois that are running into pension troubles. The pension vise is now tightening around Houston too, an oil-rich metropolis that has been enjoying rapid job growth for years. . . .

Houston’s experience is a cautionary tale. The city counted on oil money and didn’t manage its finances well when times were good, and, like many cities, built its pension promises on overly optimistic projections for future growth. Pensions are in trouble in states and municipalities all over the country because while politicians have strong incentives to over-promise in the short-term, they have little incentive to plan for future slowdowns. And if Houston can’t create sustainable pension systems, despite its impressive economic fundamentals, what hope is there for Chicago?

The WSJ story also highlights the many divisions and conflicts that will flare up in the coming years as a pension reckoning approaches. Houston residents are “reluctant to support any tax increases” even as the pension woes “have contributed to reductions in hiring of police officers and spending on pothole repairs, which have become issues in the mayoral race.” This type of tradeoff is part of what we call the blue civil war. Various interests (in particular, the people who produce public services and the people who consume them) will be pitted against each other as the unsustainability of the blue model of governance, present in both Republican and Democratic states, becomes more and more clear.
"Politicians don’t care if it’s unsustainable, so long as they get theirs before it collapses. This is a problem."

CIA Director Thinks You Should Spit on the Bill of Rights for Security

CIA Director Thinks You Should Spit on the Bill of Rights for Security:

"Eager to reopen arguments or eager to spy on us? Or perhaps they want to admit that they are already  spying on us and don't want to worry about another whistleblower like Edward Snowden. Ultimately, they want us to thank them for violating our Fourth Amendment rights.

But the government is the reason we are in this situation. It was European policies that encouraged Muslim immigration without assimilation.  And in the U.S. we are expected to house thousands of inadequately vetted Syrian refugees. Are we supposed to give up our Fourth Amendment in order to keep us safe from  the terrorist among them?

In the United States, surveillance is the core issue for the security agencies combating the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, and for the watchdog groups that monitor those agencies. In addition "

This is cool!!-----Passenger Asks, "Are We On Fire" As Avenger Fills With Smoke During Air Show

Passenger Asks, "Are We On Fire" As Avenger Fills With Smoke During Air Show - World War Wings
Luckily The Airstrip Was Right There!
During Victory In Europe Day in 2015, event organizers had a spectacular show lined up for the thousands of spectators. Taking place in the skies over Washington DC, you can only imagine this flyover was rehearsed over and over again with strict guidelines and itineraries.
With hours of training and flying about, the team was ready for the show. Before the incident, the Avenger has been in the air for an hour with no problems and they were coming up to the final flyover. This was the pinnacle of the entire show and the culmination of what these guys were working for. Then, the cabin filled with smoke.
“Are we on fire?”- Passenger of the ill fated TBM Avenger
In this video, you’ll see the moment when things went wrong and the passenger suspected a fire. In the heat of the moment, the pilot stayed cool and collected and declared an emergency, heading for the nearest airstrip which happened to be Reagan National Airport.
The whole operation went really smoothly and the cool thing about this video is that it’s broken down into two part. First, you’ll see the event happening as it did. Later, the pilot breaks the video down into the thoughts he was having while trying to stay calm and assess the situation. As it turns out, he took a lot of lessons home.
In the end, it was a pin sized hole in the hydraulic system that started smoking. It was not a big deal but precautions had to be taken. The plane was ready to fly again within an hour of the emergency landing.

Univ. of Vermont holds privilege retreat for students who 'self-identify as white'

Univ. of Vermont holds privilege retreat for students who 'self-identify as white'
The University of Vermont held a three-day retreat so students who “self-identify as white” could confront their own “white privilege.”
“Examining White Privilege: A Retreat for Undergraduate Students Who Self-Identify as White” took place last weekend, November 13-15, and was “specifically for white students.”
“How does whiteness impact you?”
According to the university, the self-identifying white students who attend the retreat will come to “recognize and understand white privilege from an individual experience” and have the opportunity to “conceptualize and articulate whiteness from a personal and systematic lense as well as the impact of white privilege on the UVM community and beyond.”
The self-identifying white students also tackled tough questions such as “What does it mean to be white?” and “How does whiteness impact you?”
The university website features testimonials from past attendees of the retreat, who praised the way the event was a “safe space...”

Why Hillary and Obama Prefer Islam to Christianity

Why Hillary and Obama Prefer Islam to Christianity:

"This, to be sure, is odd. Hillary decrying hateful rhetoric smacks of irony – she despises Republicans so much that she labeled them her enemies during the first Demoratic debate. Furthermore, Hillary is no fighter for religious freedom. In April, she told the Women in the World Summit that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” to allow for abortion. And in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s egregious same-sex marriage decision in June, Hillary explicitly called for the government to force churches to sanction homosexuality, explaining, “Our work won’t be finished until every American can not only marry, but live, work, pray, learn and raise a family free from discrimination and prejudice.” Pray – as in attend church “free from discrimination and prejudice.”

TSA Investigation Finds 73 Workers on U.S.’s Terrorist Watchlist

TSA Investigation Finds 73 Workers on U.S.’s Terrorist Watchlist
A recent U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) report found that 73 aviation workers, employed by airlines and vendors, had alleged links to terrorism.
The report, published by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General on June 4, blamed bureaucratic mistakes.
Though the TSA says it frequently cross-checks applications and employee lists with the DHS’s “Consolidated Terrorist Watchlist,” both are incomplete.
The TSA’s employee lists, which consist of thousands of records, “contained potentially incomplete or inaccurate data, such as an initial for a first name and missing social security numbers,” the report found.
The DHS Consolidated Terrorist Watchlist was also incomplete because “[TSA] is not authorized to receive all terrorism-related categories under current interagency watchlisting policy.”
It is unclear what, if anything, will happen as a result of this discovery.
But last week, the top TSA official was reassigned after an internal investigation showed undercover agents were able to smuggle fake explosives and weapons through security checkpoints in 95 percent of trials at dozens of America’s busiest airports.

A mean, humorless hag-----Clinton Goes after Laugh Factory Comedians for Making Fun of Her

Clinton Goes after Laugh Factory Comedians for Making Fun of Her - Judicial Watch
In what appears to be a first for a serious presidential contender, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is going after five comedians who made fun of the former Secretary of State in standup skits at a popular Hollywood comedy club.
video of the short performance, which is less than three minutes, is posted on the website of the renowned club, Laugh Factory, and the Clinton campaign has tried to censor it.
Besides demanding that the video be taken down, the Clinton campaign has demanded the personal contact information of the performers that appear in the recording.
This is no laughing matter for club owner Jamie Masada, a comedy guru who opened Laugh Factory more than three decades ago and has been instrumental in launching the careers of many famous comics.
“They threatened me,” Masada told Judicial Watch.
“I have received complains before but never a call like this, threatening to put me out of business if I don’t cut the video.”
...The Laugh Factory has appropriately titled it “Hillary vs. The First Amendment.”
Masada told Judicial Watch that, as soon as the video got posted on the Laugh Factory website, he received a phone call from a “prominent” person inside Clinton’s campaign.
“He said the video was disgusting and asked who put me up to this,” Masada said.
The Clinton staffer, who Masada did not want to identify, also demanded to know the names and phone numbers of the comedians that appear in the video.
Masada refused and hung up.
He insists that the comedy stage is a sanctuary for freedom of speech no matter who is offended.
“Just last night we had (Emmy-award winner) Dana Carvey doing Donald Trump and it was hilarious,” Masada said.

Sooo, Obama (and the islamics at CAIR) gets to ignore us and do whatever the heck he wants?!!-----Immigration experts: Michigan, other states lack legal authority to block Syrian refugees

Immigration experts: Michigan, other states lack legal authority to block Syrian refugees - Crain's Detroit Business:
"Governors across the U.S. — including Gov. Rick Snyder in Michigan — have threatened to stop accepting Syrian refugees following last week's attacks in Paris, even as experts counter they lack legal authority to block the relocations.
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama, whose administration recently pledged to accept about 10,000 Syrian refugees, argued Monday that the United States needs to allow them because many are fleeing terrorism.
...The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim civil rights group, called the governors' comments and recommendations "un-American," adding that rejecting refugees projects "our fears to the world.""

‘This is Looney Tunes’: Media Mocked Glenn Beck’s Caliphate Prediction | Video | TheBlaze.com:

"Glenn Beck shared on The Glenn Beck Program Monday night a reel of many in the media mocking his 2011 prediction that radical Islamists would seek to create a worldwide religious caliphate.

“The caliphate is not a conspiracy,” Beck said on his radio program in 2011. “It’s the words of Hamas; it’s the words of the Muslim Brotherhood; it’s the words of [then-Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad. … It’s ridiculous to call it a conspiracy theory.”

The day Beck shared his opinion, the word “caliphate” rose to the No. 3 most searched phrase on Google, and many in the media were quick to responded."

Ya think?-----Pollsters defend craft amid string of high-profile misses

Pollsters defend craft amid string of high-profile misses | TheHill:
"Can the public trust the polls?
The question is gaining intensity following a string of misses — most recently in Kentucky’s gubernatorial race — that has fueled doubts about survey accuracy and forced the industry into some soul-searching amid an election season when polls are both ubiquitous and increasingly influential to the process of choosing candidates.
...“Not every poll,” Koning added, “is a poll worth reading.”
Scott Keeter, director of survey research at the Pew Research Center, agreed.
Placing too much trust in early surveys, when few voters are paying close attention and the candidate pools are their largest, “is asking more of a poll than what it can really do.”
“A high degree of skepticism is certainly warranted,” he said."

LIBERTY REVIEW

Truth or Consequences

By Tammy Derouin

We, as a nation, under the leadership of an anti-American administration, have opted to side with evil.  There is no other way to state what I see without falling into the trappings of political correctness.   Political correctness is destroying our nation.  Our enemy knows how to use our emotions and fears against us.  Of course, let’s not forget the steady guidance and encouragement the executive has used to steer us right into their hands.

Lies and deceit are justifiable and even encouraged when it benefits the god and the agenda of our enemy.  Lies flow freely and without apprehension under this administration. If you thought you would be able to keep your insurance because you liked it, wait until the mass awakening. Will we be able to keep our country because we love it?

Why do we accept the anti-American actions of this administration?  Until we are willing to admit we made a mistake, that we indeed have a problem, we are doomed to follow the fate of Europe.  Europeans have allowed themselves to be bullied.  They have been intimidated into submission. The fears of being labeled, of having false accusations flung at them are so great, they are gambling with their very existence.  They may not recover.

Many Americans refuses to learn from history.  Will current events get their attention?  Ignoring the truth and refusing to see evil, no matter where it may be located, is critical.  Continuing this politically correct charade so as not to upset the sensibilities or our enemies is insanity.  Do we want the truth or consequences.....

GRCC approves domestic partner benefits despite concerns | MLive.com:
"GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Grand Rapids Community College in January will begin offering health care benefits to the domestic partners of unmarried employees.
The move was approved by the college's board of trustees at the recommendation of President Steven Ender, who has said providing the benefits would show the college believes in "inclusiveness."
All but one of the board's seven trustees – Richard Stewart – supported the measure.
To qualify for the benefit, an employee and his or her domestic partner must, among other things, be in a committed relationship, financially dependent upon one other, have lived together for the past 18 months and not be related.
An employee would be required to sign an affidavit testifying to those facts..."

16 Of The Worst Ways To Respond To ISIS' Paris Attack

16 Of The Worst Ways To Respond To ISIS' Paris Attack:
2) All Renditions of “Imagine”
Peter Cook had a great conspiracy theory yesterday:
“John Lennon did not write ‘Imagine.’
I think Yoko did, and that’s why it is so terrible.”
The day after Paris was attacked, a man rode up with a piano and began playing “Imagine” to a crowd of mourners.
People really enjoyed this.
Then Coldplay did a cover of the song.
There are so many problems with “Imagine” on a good day — the lyrics are embarrassingly juvenile as well as godless and communistic.
But for the aftermath of an attack that hit people at soccer stadiums, restaurants and music venues, I’m not sure even the lyrics “Imagine all the people/Living for today” work.
I mean, enjoying the evening was precisely what the murder victims in Paris were doing at the moment they were gunned down by murderous Islamist radicals.
Simply pick a better song that doesn’t make you seem like you are literally at Chris Martin levels of maturity.
Read 'em all
And remember these idiotic lyrics:
"...Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace..."

Remember When Obamacare Was Supposed To Help Small Businesses?

Remember When Obamacare Was Supposed To Help Small Businesses? - Forbes:
"Obamacare promised to help small businesses.
But it’s now clear that small businesses don’t want the law’s brand of help.
Specifically, they want nothing to do with Obamacare’s “Small Business Health Options Program,” or SHOP.
This online marketplace was supposed to allow employees at small firms to choose from among competing, low-cost plans — and grant employers tax credits to help them pay for coverage.
But in reality, SHOP has been a massive flop.
Earlier this year, the Congressional Budget Office projected that a million people would enroll. Instead, 85,000 workers from 11,000 companies have done so.
Those 85,000 represent less than 1 percent of all workers covered by small-group plans outside Obamacare’s exchanges."
Obamacare has also failed to reduce premiums for small businesses.
Most haven’t ventured onto the SHOP exchanges because the plans available are more expensive than the ones they already have..."

Joseph Clancy says Secret Service agents will be suspended in Jason Chaffetz scandal | Daily Mail Online:
Dozens of Secret Service agents will be suspended for looking up Congressman’s personal information in bid to smear him, admits scandal-hit agency director

  • Some 42 agents will receive short suspensions for illegally accessing a personnel file on Congressman Jason Chaffetz
  • Earlier this year someone in the department told the press that Chaffetz applied for and was rejected from a job with the Secret Service in 2003
  • Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy said Homeland Security hasn't decided how to punish the agent who spearheaded the smear campaign
  • He said this at a joint hearing held by House and Senate Homeland Security subcommittees today on Capitol Hill
  • The agents' actions were 'reprehensible, disturbing, embarrassing,' he said. 'I agree with everything that's been said here today'

Refuse to learn? Prepare to die!-----Terror's Progressive Accomplices

Arnold Ahlert: Terror's Progressive Accomplices — The Patriot Post:
"...Spare us the criticism of “exploiting” a tragedy for political gain.
We will not abide cultural suicide to preserve political correctness.
Timing, as they say, is everything.
And the most feckless president in the history of the United States, along with his equally bankrupt administration, did not disappoint.
Only hours before the carnage took place, Obama did an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and gave us an echo of his 2012 campaign “terror is on the run” nonsense.
“I don’t think they’re gaining strength,” Obama declared of the Islamic State.
“What is true is that from the start, our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq, and in Syria they’ll come in, they’ll leave, but you don’t see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain.”
Instead, we saw a systemic march through the streets of Paris, courtesy of eight Islamic State terrorists firing AK-47s and detonating bomb-laden suicide belts.
Parisians were terrified, but being the “enlightened” people they are — as opposed to the knuckle-dragging Americans they disdain — they had no way of defending themselves.
There is no right to bear arms in France.
If one wishes to own a gun, one must obtain a license requiring a psychological evaluation, and repeated renewals.
One might imagine the Charlie Hebdo slaughter last January would have elicited cries for a re-evaluation of that policy.
But only if one cannot fathom the denialism at the heart of progressive ideology.
That denialism was on full display Friday when Americans learned the first group of what will ultimately amount to 10,000 Syrian and Afghan “refugees” arrived in New Orleans, prior to their dispersal into other areas of Louisiana — and another 180 American communities. New Orleans FBI chief and anti-terrorism expert Jim Bernazzani voiced the obvious: “If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I’d take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States.”
He then assured us the FBI and the joint Terrorism Task Force will thoroughly vet these individuals.
Really?
Then why did FBI Assistant Director Michael Steinbach and DHS Director Matthew Emrich both admit there is no system to reliably screen these individuals?
Moreover, what can the nation expect in terms of vetting from an administration so mired in political correctness, the FBI ignored multiple Russian warnings regarding the radicalization of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev?..."

SAGINAW, MI — Police at Saginaw Valley State University say a threat posted on the social media site Yik Yak read, "I'm going to shoot every black person I can on campus. Starting tomorrow morning."
The message triggered an investigation and police security response that led to the arrest of a Delta College student living in SVSU housing.

Emmanuel D. Bowden, 21, is charged with making a false report or threat of terrorism, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
According to SVSU University Police reports, a user on the social media application Yik Yak, just after midnight Friday, Nov. 13, posted the message about shooting black people.
The police reports state that, after the post received multiple "negative replies," the original poster replied with four additional messages that read, "Its [sic] a joke," "I'm black," "I was going to give it an hour to see how you all would react," and "Right. I could be angry and just expressing myself lol."...

In Wake Of Paris, Obama's Facebook Touts Health Insurance | The Daily Caller:
"Three days after the gruesome terrorist attack in Paris, which has been linked to Islamic State, President Barack Obama’s Facebook has avoided acknowledging the event or its perpetrators in any way.
Obama’s Facebook page has often been used to release statements or videos, and sometimes Obama uses the website to announce policy initiatives (for instance, just last month he used Facebook to announce a change of course on standardized tests).
But for nearly three days following Friday night’s attacks, Obama’s Facebook remained totally inactive.

Flashback 1974: CIA Warned GLOBAL COOLING Would Cause Terrorism

Flashback 1974: CIA Warned GLOBAL COOLING Would Cause Terrorism:
"Decades before Sen. Bernie Sanders warned that global warming was driving terrorism, U.S. intelligence officials warned that global cooling would cause massive crop failures, destabilize government and drive violent conflict.
A Central Intelligence Agency report from 1974 warned Earth’s “climate is returning to that of the neo-boreal era… an era of drought, famine, and political unrest in the western world.”
The report cited famines in the Soviet Union, drought in Latin America and flooding in the U.S. as examples of how global cooling was wreaking havoc on countries.
...Interestingly enough, the Pentagon has the same concerns about global warming as the C.I.A. did about global cooling in the 1970s.
“The impacts of climate change may cause instability in other countries by impairing access to food and water, damaging infrastructure, spreading disease, uprooting and displacing large numbers of people, compelling mass migration, interrupting commercial activity, or restricting electricity availability,” the Pentagon reported in 2014.
These developments could undermine already-fragile governments that are unable to respond effectively or challenge currently-stable governments,” the Pentagon noted.
“These gaps in governance can create an avenue for extremist ideologies and conditions that foster terrorism.”
Global cooling would have caused many of the same problems, according to the C.I.A.’s 1974 report.
“The new climatic era brings a promise of famine and starvation to many areas of the world,” the C.I.A. wrote in its report based on a study by the University of Wisconsin predicting a return to the cooler conditions of the “Little Ice Age.”
“For 250 years most of the world suffered major economic and political unrest which could be directly or indirectly attributed to the climate of the neo-boreal era,” the C.I.A. warned, adding that another Little Ice Age would cause hundreds of millions of deaths around the world and cause massive social unrest."
