Former Top US General Drops A Truth Bomb: This Is EXACTLY What We Need To Defeat ISIS
"During this contentious primary season, presidential candidates have — to varying degrees — spelled out their proposed solutions to dealing with the Islamic State. But all the contenders might be surprised to hear what it will actually take to knock out the brutal terror organization, at least according to a former top U.S. general with a long and distinguished record of fighting the bloodthirsty killers committed to setting up a caliphate."

Obama Executive Actions Include Nudging Into the Cable TV Business | TheBlaze.com:
"President Barack Obama is taking executive action to prompt federal agencies to increase competition — and he’s starting with the cable TV industry by urging the Federal Communications Commission find ways to lower the cost and increase choices for TV consumers.
“That’s why today the President announced that his Administration is calling on the FCC to open up set-top cable boxes to competition,” wrote National Economic Council Director Jeffrey Zients and Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Jason Furman in a post on the White House website."

Anyone used to commenting on Facebook posts knows there's a lot of misrepresentation going on.
Well, when it comes to climate change , NASA's not going to stand for it.
When an article written by American scientist Bill Nye was shared on the social network, it drew some considerable criticism from climate change deniers.
Nye had bet prominent denier Marc Morano $20,000 (£14,000) that this year would be one of the top 10 hottest on record. Morano declined to take the bet.
And once Nye posted that to Facebook, the haters came out.
But, unbelievably, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration decided to get involved to set the record straight.

One commenter, Fer Morales, posted that "despite NASA confirming that fossil fuels are actually cooling the planet's temperature, and that there's more ice than in the last century on the polar ice caps."
NASA hit back with the brutal response: "Do not misrepresent NASA. Fossil fuels are not cooling the planet."
Ouch.
The agency didn't stop there, it also quoted bona-fide research to show that, yes, climate change is a real danger.
The Long Sordid Tale of the American Income Tax
The Long Sordid Tale of the American Income Tax - Reason.com
"It's the time of year again when most Americans will be filing their income taxes.
As if that's not painful enough all by itself, here's a little more salt for your wounds.
First, some history:
In 1913 the U.S. federal individual income tax was enacted following the passage of the 16th Amendment, which granted Washington the authority to take a piece of citizens' paychecks. According to the Tax Foundation, the top tax rate that year (adjusted for inflation) was 7 percent on income above $11.5 million; the lowest rate was 1 percent on income under $463,826.
...The flip side of America's progressivity is that the bottom 50 percent of households in the U.S. only shoulder 2.8 percent of the total tax burden.

What do these things have in common?
The consequences of giving in to leftist demands, instead of focusing on the basics.
Most people want some pretty basic things from the powers-that-be:

This Spitfire Veteran Flies His Favorite Warbird Again - World War Wings:
"This Will Make Your Day!
World War 2 Spitfire Pilot Jim Robinson looks like a kid in a candy store.
Did you see his smile?
Yep, that made us smile too!
They are both legends — the bird and the veteran and we’re so glad we witnessed this moment. He waited for years to fly this bad boy again and well, we can sense his growing excitement.
As of today, around 55 Spitfires all over the world are airworthy, the rest are either in static display in museums, currently being actively restored or kept in storage.
Much loved by its pilots, the Spitfire served in several roles, including interceptor, photo-reconnaissance, fighter-bomber and trainer, and it continued to serve in these roles until the 1950s.
Jim summed up his entire experience in three words: “Times have changed.”
We couldn’t agree more and with that happy look on his face at the end, we’re sure it was nothing short of memorable.
P.S. Be sure to also check out Stuart Russell’s Youtube Channel for more awesome warbird stuff like this!

Before We Know It Europe Will Be The New Middle East
The video opens with an ominous statistic.
“In order for a culture to maintain itself for 25 years there must be a fertility rate of 2.11 children per family.
With anything less the culture will decline.
Historically, no culture has ever reversed a 1.9 fertility rate.
A rate of 1.3 is impossible to reverse,” requiring 80 to 100 years to correct.
They note that there is no economic model that can sustain a culture during that time.
“As a population shrinks, so does the culture,” the video notes, and the population of the Western civilizations are shrinking; birthrates are declining.

A Short History of the Pentagon Wasting Your Money
- Why has waste at the Pentagon been so hard to rein in? Simple: The military-industrial complex profits from waste.
- The Pentagon spent $6 billion on not auditing itself, according to the Project on Government Oversight.
Other hot-off-the-presses examples would include the Army’s purchase of helicopter gears worth $500 each for $8,000 each and the accumulation of billions of dollars’ worth of weapons components that will never be used.
And then there’s the one that would have to be everyone’s favorite Pentagon waste story: the spending of $50,000 to investigate the bomb-detecting capabilities of African elephants. (And here’s a shock: they didn’t turn out to be that great!)

Bill Nye open to criminal charges, jail time for climate-change dissenters
Bill Nye open to criminal charges, jail time for climate-change dissenters - Washington Times:
"Bill Nye “the science guy” says in a video interview released Thursday that he is open to the idea of jailing those who deviate from the climate change consensus.
Asked about the heated rhetoric surrounding the climate change debate, such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s previous comments that some climate skeptics should be prosecuted as war criminals, Mr. Nye replied, “We’ll see what happens.”
“Was it appropriate to jail the guys from Enron?” Mr. Nye asked in a video interview with Climate Depot’s Marc Morano.
“We’ll see what happens.
Was it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that this addictive product was not addictive, and so on?”
“In these cases, for me, as a taxpayer and voter, the introduction of this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen,” Mr. Nye said.
“So I can see where people are very concerned about this, and they’re pursuing criminal investigations as well as engaging in discussions like this.”
Mr. Nye’s comments come with a coalition of liberal attorneys general pursuing companies that challenge the consensus of catastrophic climate change.
Critics fear the campaign could chill research and free speech..."

DePaul says no more political chalking in response to pro-Trump messages
DePaul says no more political chalking in response to pro-Trump messages
“While these chalk messages are part of national agendas in a heated political battle, they appeared on campus at a time of significant racial tension in our country and on college campuses. DePaul is no exception,” Depaul’s vice president for student affairs Eugene Zdziarski wrote in a campus-wide email obtained by Campus Reform. “The university has been addressing campus climate issues in an effort to provide an inclusive and supportive educational environment. In this context, many students, faculty and staff found the chalk messages offensive, hurtful and divisive.”
- The school will no longer allow students to chalk political messages on sidewalks of campus because of pro-Trump chalking.
- The school deemed these messages to be "offensive, hurtful, and divisive."
"...these chalk messages... appeared on campus at a time of significant racial tension in our country and on college campuses." Tweet This
Consequently, Zdziarski explained that DePaul’s status as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization prohibits students from participating in any political activity that could be interpreted as a reflection of the university’s “views or opinions.” Political chalking on Depaul’s grounds, Zdziarski argued, fits this description.
“However, as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization, the university is significantly limited in the types of political activities it can promote or support,” he wrote. “In accordance with federal regulations, DePaul may not engage in any activity in support of or opposition to any candidate for public office, federal, state or local. In practice, this means no partisan political advertising may be conducted on campus that could in any way be attributed to DePaul University.”

Universities Singling Out White Students
Universities Singling Out White Students | The Daily Caller:
"In just the latest instance of a taxpayer-funded university singling out white students for privilege-shaming “education sessions,” the University of Wisconsin-Madison hosted a special workshop on Tuesday for the purpose of getting white students to acknowledge and confront their own white privilege.
According to the university website, “The Privilege of Whiteness” workshop was designed for white people to “reflect on and name the ways their privilege impacts their beliefs and behaviors by gaining the skills to identify the historical roots of White privilege and how it manifests today.”
Prospective attendees were informed that the workshop was “designed for a White audience,” although “People of color” were still welcome.
The workshop is one of a handful of “education sessions” offered through the university’s Morgridge Center for Public Service.
Students wishing to participate in the university’s Badger Volunteers program are required to attend at least one of the education sessions.
The University of Wisconsin is just the latest university to single out white students for privilege-shaming workshops.
In January, Oregon State University — another taxpayer-funded institution — hosted racially-segregated “social justice retreats,” with separate but equal workshops for white, non-white and mixed-race students.
While the white students’ retreats focused on their “white privilege,” the retreats for the non-white students sought to “empower students of color...”

Germany To Abandon $1.1 Trillion Wind Power Program By 2019
Germany To Abandon $1.1 Trillion Wind Power Program By 2019 - Technocracy News:
TN Note:
Wind power is four times more costly than nuclear power, and has proven to be a total disaster for Germany, which subsidizes its wind power industry.
So, how is it working out for them?
Well, they threw $1.1 trillion down the sink-hole.
Germany plans to stop building new wind farms by 2019...
Germany’s government, however, has been very supportive of wind power.
The government estimates that it will spend over $1.1 trillion financially supporting wind power, even though building wind turbines hasn’t achieved the government’s goal of actually reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Germany created lucrative subsidies and tax benefits for wind power in 2011 after it decided to abandon nuclear power entirely by 2022 following the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster in Japan. German utilities are already suing the government for $21 billion over the nuclear shutdown plan.
Electricity from new wind power is nearly four times as expensive as electricity from existing nuclear power plants, according to analysis from the Institute for Energy Research.
The rising cost of subsidies is passed onto ordinary rate-payers, which has triggered complaints that poor households are subsidizing the affluent..."

WARNING: Obama Moving To ‘Regulate’ Your Retirement Accounts…To Fill Government Coffers - Patriot Update

Europe dependent upon communist Chinese for their energy needs?-----Why Is China Building 1000 New Coal Power Plants? Here’s Why
Why Is China Building 1000 New Coal Power Plants? Here’s Why | The Global Warming Policy Forum (GWPF):
China’s proposed investments in long-distance, ultra-high voltage (UHV) power transmission lines will pave the way for power exports as far as Germany, the head of the national power grid said on Tuesday as he launched an initiative for cross-border power connections.
Exporting power to central Asia and beyond falls into China’s “one belt, one road” ambitions to export industrial overcapacity and engineering expertise as it faces slowing growth at home.
The plan would allow enormous hydropower dams, coal-fired power plants and wind farms in frontier regions such as Xinjiang to sell into higher-priced markets overseas.
The “belt” refers to the land route from Asia to Europe, while the “road”, curiously, refers to the sea route via the Indian Ocean.
Talk of exporting power is a reversal for China, which as recently as 2004 suffered rolling blackouts across its manufacturing heartland.
But huge investments in power in the decade since, and the construction of a number of dams, nuclear reactors and coal-fired plants due to begin operating in the next 10 years, mean the country faces a growing surplus.
Liu Zhenya, chairman of State Grid, told reporters that wind and thermal power produced in Xinjiang could reach Germany at half the current cost of electricity there.
“There are so many resources, but no market.
We need to find it externally.”

New Shock Report Shows Muslims Building a "Nation Within a Nation," Bringing Sharia Law to Britain
New Shock Report Shows Muslims Building a "Nation Within a Nation," Bringing Sharia Law to Britain | The Daily Sheeple:
A shocking new report What British Muslims Really Think to be released this week regarding the integration of the 1.5 million Muslim immigrants in Britain has found there is a “nation within a nation” being built in Britain made up of people the Express UK describes as “Muslims who have no intention of living by UK social standards”.
Ahead of the full release, which is set to shock the nation, former chairman of Equality and Human Rights Commission Trevor Phillips described the findings as “astonishing”.He said: “On certain key issues Britain is nurturing communities with a complete set of alternative values.”“None is more alarming than attitudes towards women.”On of the women he contacted was a respected Asian headteacher named Toshiba Hussain, who told him it was the behaviour of the young boys which was the most concerning. She said: “The boys used to act as thought police.”“You know, they would go around and actually hit girls on their heads if their heads weren’t covered. I even had one boy, one nine-year-old boy say to me ‘Why haven’t you covered your head? It is only slags who don’t cover their head’.” According to Mrs Hussain the behaviour had to have been picked up from men in their families.
The bottom line?
“…the unacknowledged creation of a nation within a nation, with its own geography, its own values, and its own very separate future.”
In short, there is no “integration” into “one global community” happening in these areas of mass immigration from the Middle East. These people are not “assimilating” in their new environments. They are coming into an area and expecting that area to bow to and adopt their beliefs, beliefs including Sharia Law.
Everywhere this immigration happens, this will be the result. Everyone knows it, but anyone who attempts to even bring this up in a rational way is automatically labeled an Islamophobe just for pointing out the obvious.
As this mass immigration push continues, this problem will continue to grow. There is no getting around it. The fact that the governments and mainstream press keep pushing the idea we’re all going to hold hands and sing Kumbaya while simultaneously ignoring reality practically ensures more violence will strike communities across the globe.
It’s obvious this is what the elite who are pushing this national sovereignty killing mass migration agenda want.
