An Audit Shows How Jane Sanders Spent Burlington College $$$ Before She Ruined It

An Audit Shows How Jane Sanders Spent Burlington College $$$ Before She Ruined It:
"Bernie and Jane Sanders are both under FBI investigation for bank fraud as most know.
Some might not know that there was an audit.
The audit shows Jane Sanders funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars from Burlington College to family and friends despite the school’s limited resources.
Bernie, for his part, is accused of pressing the bank to give the loans to the college.
Image result for Jane Sanders Spent Burlington CollegeThe poorly-backed loans ended up bringing the little hippie school down.
If they didn’t do anything illegal, the Sanders do seem ethically and financially challenged.
The duo serve as good examples of how Socialists handle finances...
...Sanders “successfully and intentionally engaged in a fraudulent scheme to actively conceal and misrepresent material facts from a federal financial institution,” Toensing’s letter read.
Sanders claimed the institution had $2.6 million in pledges for the loan when it actually only received $676,000 worth of donations from 2010 to 2014, according to the letter.
Bernie is accused of pressuring the bank to give the loans
...The unpopular former president of Burlington was eventually forced out by some angry colleagues over her mishandling of funds, which caused the school to go bankrupt last year.
After she was forced out, Jane Sanders extracted a “severance package from the college of more than 200,000”....

1.4 million illegals working under stolen Social Security numbers: Audit - Washington Times

1.4 million illegals working under stolen Social Security numbers: Audit - Washington Times:

Image result for Flicker Commons Images Nancy Pelosi"Most illegal immigrants who pay taxes have stolen someone else’s legal identity, and the IRS doesn’t do a very good job of letting those American citizens and legal immigrants know they’re being impersonated, the tax agency’s inspector general said in a new report released Thursday.
The theft creates major problems for the American citizens and legal foreign workers whose identities are stolen, and who have to deal with explaining money they never earned.
But the IRS only manages to identify half of the potentially 1.4 million people likely affected by the fraud in 2015, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration said in its report."

Where Americans Came From–And Where Immigrants Are Coming From Now | VDARE - premier news outlet for patriotic immigration reform:

Above is a fairly recent map of where immigrants are coming from, by state. [From Germany to Mexico: How America’s source of immigrants has changed over a century, By Jens Manuel Krogstad and Michael Keegan, Pew Research, October 7, 2015]
You’ll notice that Montana (where Paul Nachman lives) and North Dakota (where almost nobody lives) are getting some cross-border immigrants from the Canadian West, but almost everywhere else, it’s Mexico, Mexico, Mexico, and Mexico.
Here’s a comparable map for 1910–call it your Grandfather’s America.

"A long-time reader and retired FBI agent of vast and relevant experience comments on Paul Sperry’s New York Post column, discussed by John in the adjacent post
The emphases in his quote from Sperry’s column are his:
"I remain convinced that the FISA warrants that were twice sought to target associates of Trump (and possibly Trump himself) are the key to blowing up the Russia narrative.
As Andy McCarthy regularly points out, it was all done under the cloak of a counterintelligence (CI) investigation–and FISA techniques are at the heart of any CI investigation.
Any FISA application encapsulates most of the predication for the investigation itself, and without FISA techniques the investigation likely goes nowhere.
Image result for obama clintons Political CorruptionIn a CI investigation focused on a foreign power, that’s not a problem since FISA on the foreign power (say, Russia) is already in place–all that needs to be done is to identify a foreign national as the agent of that power (Russia) and, presto, you get FISA coverage of anything that’s not already covered.
Where it becomes an acute problem is when the CI investigation is a ruse to cover domestic spying on political opponents.
In that case FISA on the foreign power is of no use–not if, as appears to be the case, there was no significant contact or collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
If, in fact, the real target was Trump himself–and we are told that Trump himself was named in the rejected July 2016 FISA application–you need to gin up a FISA on someone who really IS in contact with Trump, no matter how far-fetched the reasoning.
Carter Page?
He’ll do in a pinch, right?
And now Sperry tells us:
But it’s now clear his “intelligence reports,” which together run more than 35-pages long, were for the most part worthless. And the clients who paid Fusion GPS (which claims to go “beyond standard due diligence”) for them got taken to the cleaners. [Not if they needed something, anything, to get the FISA order, and eventually got it.]
Image result for fisa spyingSteele’s most sensational allegations remain unconfirmed. For instance, his claim that Trump lawyer Michael Cohen held a “clandestine meeting” on the alleged hacking scheme in Prague with “Kremlin officials” in August 2016 unraveled when Cohen denied ever visiting Prague, his passport showed no stamps showing he left or entered the US at the time, witnesses accounted for his presence here, and Czech authorities found no evidence Cohen went to Prague.
Steele hadn’t worked in Moscow since the 1990s and didn’t actually travel there to gather intelligence on Trump firsthand. He relied on third-hand “friend of friend” sourcing. In fact, most of his claimed Russian sources spoke not directly to him but “in confidence to a trusted compatriot” who, in turn, spoke to Steele — and always anonymously..."

Colorado ski deaths since 06/07 season | SummitDaily.com:
"Part 1 of a three-part series.
It could have been a crisp, winter morning, with the sun showing near the top of the ski lift, or maybe it was lower down the mountain on a biting, blustery afternoon when it happened.
It probably occurred between Feb. 16 and March 6.
Few can say for sure.
According to the data, the unknown skier was probably a 37-year-old man from the Front Range. More than likely he would have been tearing down advanced terrain at a ski resort in either Summit or Pitkin counties when he hit a tree.
Odds are he was wearing a helmet, but statistics suggest he would have been going far too fast for it to do him much good.
Ski patrollers would have rushed to his aid, administering CPR and using a defibrillator in an attempt to revive him.
Then, they’d have shuttled him down to a medical clinic at the resort’s base.
He could have then been transferred to the hospital, where a doctor would have called the official time of death.
And, as is most often the case with Colorado’s ski fatalities, the cause would have been blunt-force trauma to the head.
This narrative closely follows ski-related fatality trends in the state during the past 10 seasons. However, it’s only a guess...
...Colorado has had 137 accidental skier fatalities since the 2006-07 season.
At least another 25 on-mountain deaths resulted from altitude-related cardiac episodes..."

Americans Don’t Know Much About Immigration, But Know What They Want: The ZERO OPTION! (Or…Less?) | VDARE - premier news outlet for patriotic immigration reform
"Immigration is unpopular with Americans.
Really unpopular.
And that’s immigration, full-stop—not merely illegal immigration.
How do I know?
Image result for immigrationMy reading of NumbersUSA polls, both current and from the last few years.
For example, on June 20, Numbers reported polling numbers from Missouri, a “swing state” whose Democratic U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill will be up for re-election in 2018 [64% of Missourians Want Immigration Cut by 50% or More].
Its press release heralding these numbers opens:
By nearly a 3-to-1 margin, Missourians say they want legal immigration — that has been averaging around one million a year — reduced to a half-million or less. That is the preference of nearly all demographic groups, including Missouri’s Democrats, Republicans, Independents, conservatives, liberals, moderates, Catholics, Evangelicals, Protestants and those of other religions and no religion, according to a survey conducted by Pulse Opinion Research of 1,000 Missourians likely to vote in next year’s midterm congressional elections.
The poll’s Question #3 (of 13) first provided context— “Current federal policy automatically adds about one million new legal immigrants each year giving all of them lifetime work visas”—and then asked the respondents:
Which is closest to the number of lifetime immigrant work visas the government should be adding each year — none, 250,000, half a million, one million, one and a half million, two million, or more than two million?
Results from those 1,000 likely mid-term voters in Missouri:
  • 25% None
  • 22% 250,000
  • 16% Half a million
  • 14% One million
  • 3% One and a half million
  • 3% Two million
  • 4% More than two million
  • 14% Not sure
Altogether, then, 63 percent chose an immigrant level of half-million or less, while 24 percent preferred one million or more.
That’s an overwhelming landslide favoring lower immigration rates.

And note the single most popular response:
“None.” ..."

Supreme Court revives Trump travel ban - Washington Times:

Image result for Flicker Commons Images Supreme Court"The Supreme Court said Monday that most of President Trump’s travel ban executive order can go into effect, delivering the first major victory to the new administration on perhaps his most controversial policy to date.
Justices said the lower court rulings that blocked Mr. Trump’s policy were far too broad, and said the president can begin to enforce his ban against foreigners who don’t already have some ties to the U.S.
That means the president can begin denying visas to visitors from six countries — Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen — who don’t already have family in the U.S., or some other prior connection such as participation in an education program. Mr. Trump is also free to halt refugee admissions worldwide, with the same exception for people who already have a connection to the U.S."

The media and left-wing groups immediately portrayed True The Vote as a fringe group with little credibility.

The only problem is, a study in 2014 in the online Electoral Studies Journal made a quite similar claim: In the 2008 and 2010 elections, they said, as many as 2.8 million illegal noncitizen votes were cast, "enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes and congressional elections," said the study, authored by Jesse T. Richman and Gushan A. Chattha, both of Old Dominion University, and David C. Earnest of George Mason University.

The bombshell was this: "

"IT’S REALLY NOT THAT UNCOMMON: The New York Post is reporting that a Washington research firm of former journalists were behind the salacious Russian/Trump dossier:
Fusion GPS describes itself as a “research and strategic intelligence firm” founded by “three former Wall Street Journal investigative reporters.” But congressional sources says it’s actually an opposition-research group for Democrats, and the founders, who are more political activists than journalists, have a pro-Hillary, anti-Trump agenda. “These weren’t mercenaries or hired guns,” a congressional source familiar with the dossier probe said. “These guys had a vested personal and ideological interest in smearing Trump and boosting Hillary’s chances of winning the White House.”
The fact is that that firms creating opposition research are often staffed with former journalists, who use their connections in the editorial world to redistribute this sort of thing.
Image result for deep state(Naturally, there are “right-leaning” as well as “left-leaning” firms of this sort.)
Work in a newsroom long enough and you’ll begin to recognize “oppo” when you see it.
Sadly, a number of journalists who were laid off by big news outfits and can’t find work elsewhere have resorted to doing this kind of work.
As news organizations cut back on reporting, it’s easier than ever to get “oppo” published as news without sufficient fact-checking.
What’s the opposite of a virtuous circle?

This State's Single-Payer Funds Illegals, Costs More Than All Gov't. Agencies:

  • "The main reason Democrat congressmen won’t help Republicans create a workable healthcare system is because they want single-payer.
  • This is why everyone needs to watch New York in particular.
  • New York’s single-payer healthcare bill will fund all illegal aliens.
  • In the end, it will cost more than all government agencies combined.
  • New York is the closest to passing and implementing single-payer.

...Since May, New Yorker’s have watched the massive single-payer healthcare bill make its way through the State Assembly for the third time and on to the State Senate.
This “free” healthcare, to be carried on the shoulders of those New Yorkers unfortunate enough to be productive, will cover illegal aliens.
It covers anyone who establishes residency here.
It’s a zero-cost healthcare plan for every person who is in the state with no out-of-pocket fees, network restrictions or other requirements.
It will substantially increase the already high tax burden and become a lure for illegal aliens.
...The Reason Foundation for one estimates the proposal will cost taxpayers in New York an additional $91 billion per year by 2019.
...It doesn’t even take into account all the aliens who will flood into New York, a state already beset by the highest influx of foreigners, including refugees, legal aliens and illegal aliens.
It will cost more than all government agencies combined..."

Democrats, FBI Collaborated on Trump Smear | Power Line
DEMOCRATS, FBI COLLABORATED ON TRUMP SMEAR
The New York Post has an explosive report on the infamous “dossier” that tried to smear Donald Trump in order to swing the presidential election to Hillary Clinton
The source of the dossier is a Democratic Party opposition research firm called Fusion GPS:
The Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this month threatened to subpoena the firm, Fusion GPS, after it refused to answer questions and provide records to the panel identifying who financed the error-ridden dossier, which was circulated during the election and has sparked much of the Russia scandal now engulfing the White House.
***
Fusion GPS was on the payroll of an unidentified Democratic ally of Clinton when it hired a long-retired British spy to dig up dirt on Trump. In 2012, Democrats hired Fusion GPS to uncover dirt on GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney. And in 2015, Democrat ally Planned Parenthood retained Fusion GPS to investigate pro-life activists protesting the abortion group.
No surprise there. What is shocking is the FBI’s apparent involvement in the effort to smear Trump with false rumors:
The FBI received a copy of the Democrat-funded dossier in August, during the heat of the campaign, and is said to have contracted in October to pay Steele $50,000 to help corroborate the dirt on Trump — a relationship that “raises substantial questions about the independence” of the bureau in investigating Trump, warned Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.
Image result for fbi at war with citizensIt raises more questions than that. Why was the FBI meddling in a U.S. presidential election? Partisan interference in the election by public agencies like the FBI and major news sources like NBC are far more worrisome than anything Russians allegedly might do from afar.
The FBI, too, is trying to stiff Congress’s investigation into the fake dossier..."
