McCarthy introducing bill to fully fund Trump border wall | Fox News:

Image result for flickr commons images Kevin McCarthy, R-CalifHouse Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., has signaled his intent to introduce legislation this week that would fully fund President Trump’s wall on along the nation's southern border.
The legislation by McCarthy, who is looking to drum up support among the GOP's rank and file as he eyes House Speaker Paul Ryan's speakership, is expected to call for full wall funding alongside other enforcement measures already approved in the House.
“Few things are more fundamental to a nation than a protected border,” McCarthy tweeted on Tuesday. “Proud to introduce the Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act.”

Five Teenage ‘Mean Girls’ Falsely Accused A Boy Of Sexual Assault. They Weren’t Punished. | Daily Wire:

Image result for False Claims Clip Art FreeSeveral high school girls — dubbed "mean girls" — claimed a male student sexually assaulted them because they “just don’t like him.” Now the school district and district attorney are facing heat over the fact that neither punished the young women at all.
Now the boy’s parents, Michael J. and Alicia Flood, are suing the parents of the five girls and the Seneca Valley School District in Pennsylvania over their son’s treatment. They say in their 26-page lawsuit their son “was forced to endure multiple court appearances, detention in a juvenile facility, detention at home, the loss of his liberty, and other damages until several of the girls reluctantly admitted that their accusations were false.”

"Brooke Baldwin says description does not apply to the thugs who chased Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife out of a restaurant
For many Americans, it is offensive when a mob of people swarms a senator while he tries to have dinner with his wife in a public restaurant — but to CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin, using the word “mob” is what’s outrageous.
Baldwin reacted Tuesday to Daily Beast columnist Matt Lewis, who talked about how Republican voters are energized after the battle to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and all of the antics that accompanied it.
“I believe it’s the overreaction of the Left,” he said. “When you see people like Sen. Ted Cruz [R-Texas] getting chased out of restaurants by a mob —”
Baldwin cut him off.
“Oh, you’re not going to use the ‘mob’ word here,” she said to him..."

Women voters see through Democrats' partisan use of Ford accusations:

Image result for flickr commons images democrat logoWomen also saw the future of a society that puts politics over the principles of fairness and the presumption of innocence. And they saw Democrats leading that charge.
Democratic politicians, professional protesters and reproductive-rights activists are so blinded by their rage at how President Donald Trump succeeded in appointing a second originalist justice to the Supreme Court, they cannot see the anger they unleashed in the apolitical populace across America. They will see it, though, come November.

This bullying tactic is in obvious contradiction with feminism’s historic promise to uphold the individuality and agency of every woman. Can women actually think for themselves, or must they necessarily fall in line with progressive groupthink? The resounding answer from feminists seems to be the latter.
In response to Kavanaugh’s confirmation, prominent feminist pundit Jessica Valenti tweeted that “women will not forget,” while Jill Filipovic tweeted that “at least women now see a little more clearly how much we don’t matter to the people in charge.”

College students nationwide turn to goat yoga to de-stress - The College Fix
"Goat yoga is officially trending on college campuses nationwide.
Image result for goat yogaDozens of universities from coast to coast have hosted goat yoga events this year, promising students a chance to unwind with the farm animals to help cope with the stresses of college life.
A UT Chattanooga event last month billed it as a chance to “de-stress and engage in self care.”
At a CU Boulder over the spring, the students pet the goats in between poses and tried to maintain their posture as the goats came up to them in curiosity.
At St. Cloud State in September, goat yoga was part of a larger “Cloudfest” that included free food, a large sandpit and friendly puppers.
“Obviously, college students are at a stressful time in their life..."

And another.
Sgt. Kevin Healy was showing me known drug dealers, and they were everywhere — swarming the neighborhood, chatting and smiling.
They didn’t seem to have a care in the world.
That’s because they don’t.
Not in San Francisco.
“It’s almost impossible to get convicted in this city,” said Healy, who works in the Police Department’s narcotics division.
“The message needs to be sent that it’s not OK to be selling drugs.
It’s not allowed anywhere else.
Where else can you walk up to someone you don’t know and purchase crack and heroin?

We know the democrats cheated in the last election.
And they expected an easy win.
This time it's different and the "full-court press" is gonna be out.

Muskegon elections have been relatively fraud free but Nov. 6 may be different.
I believe the best way to help our quest for a fraud-free election is to work the front lines on election day.
And it will put us in a position to observe, report and (hopefully) STOP any irregularities.
• F and I will be working as "Election Inspectors" (the poll workers at each voting precinct) in the City of Muskegon. It is an all-day, paid job. 2 hour training is required and date/time will be announced soon. Expect late Oct. I will alert you when we get info. See below.
• A less time intensive alternative, Election Day Poll Challenger (info below), is an easy way to help. 2-6 hours on election day. Training is a webinar every Tue. and Thu.

The Problem With Conflating Sexual Advances With Sexual Harassment | Intellectual Takeout

The Problem With Conflating Sexual Advances With Sexual Harassment | Intellectual Takeout
'"Since you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors?"
"It is wrong to ask someone intrusive questions about his private life.
A federal appeals court made that clear in allowing a woman to sue over invasive questions by federal officials.
It ruled that she had a plausible claim that federal officials violated her constitutional privacy rights by questioning her about private details of her “home life” in a race-relations seminar. (See Robinson v. Reed (1978)).
But Senator Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) is asking people nominated to become federal judges intrusive questions about their sex lives, as lawyer Scott Greenfield notes in “Hirono’s perjury trap.”
Hirono asks nominees a confusing compound question that conflates merely asking your spouse for sex with serious acts of sexual harassment:
Since you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors or committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature?
This question deliberately lumps together two very different things.
A request to your spouse for sexual favors is not illegal, even if your spouse says he doesn’t want sex; by contrast, assault of a sexual nature certainly is illegal, and should preclude anyone who commits it from ever being a judge..."

False sex assault reports not as rare as reported, studies say - Washington Times

False sex assault reports not as rare as reported, studies say - Washington Times:

Image result for Graph Clip ArtLiberals on TV and social media said repeatedly during the Senate confirmation process that only 2 percent of charges are lies — meaning there likely would be truth in the majority of such charges, such as that of Christine Blasey Ford, who accused now-Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago.
Brent E. Turvey, a criminologist, wrote a 2017 book that dispels this notion. His research, and that of two co-authors, cited statistical studies and police crime reports. One academic study showed that as many as 40 percent of sexual assault charges are false.

Following are four reasons why I will bet my life that "climate change" is the greatest scientific and political hoax in human history.
1. Rampant scientific fraud

"Civil rights leaders once dreamed of a day when Americans would be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin, but today a different message is being spread at the University of Texas and other college campuses.
“Diversity” means singling out certain races for special treatment.
UT’s extensive diversity bureaucracy effectively creates a separate education experience for “students of color,” with programs like the African American Male Research Initiative, the Black Student Leadership Institute,  the Black Male Education Research Collection, the John L. Warfield Center for African and African American Studies, and the African & African Diaspora Studies Department.
UT even has a taxpayer-funded research center, the innocuously-named Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis (IUPRA), that is focused on “social issues affecting Black communities in Texas.”
Led by Kevin Cokley, IUPRA is listed as a branch of the Black Studies program at UT..."

War on Men Is a Long-Term Plan for Democrat Victory – American Greatness
"Encouraging women to hate and fear men as rapists is not a cultural development.
It is a political weapon.
Democrats are trying to replicate their electoral success among blacks, which they cheaply achieve by convincing them Republicans are racists.
See the source imageSmears such as “racism” and “rape culture” are effective substitutes for policy achievements or a platform, and so much easier to deliver.
Democrats cynically ignore the unhappiness wrought by this ugly emotional manipulation of women and blacks.
With these two monolithic voting blocs in the bag, Democrats figure they may happily predict a “blue wave.”
Encouraging a war between women and men is not an improvised reaction to Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.
It is a calculated initiative of the hard Left, put on steroids under President Obama.
It is working exactly according to plan..."

NBC News backs off fishy statistic about plastic straws from research by 9-year-old boy | Fox News
"NBC News ...backed off a dubious claim that Americans use 1.6 straws a day on average, after critics noted it was based on research from a nine-year-old boy whose methodology never has undergone any significant scrutiny.
NBC tweeted Sunday, “Correction: An earlier version of this article included a debunked statistic that Americans throw away 500M drinking straws a day, or 1.6 a day per person..."
Previously, the network had a different story.
“@NBCNewsBETTER: At an average rate Americans use 1.6 straws per person a day-- most of them ending up in our waterways. We can do better,” the NBC News official Twitter account tweeted on Saturday, one day before Earth Day.
The tweet linked to an NBC News Better article with the title, “Fighting pollution by saying ‘no’ to plastic straws.”
...“If it’s any comfort for NBC, it can take comfort in knowing it’s not alone in spreading this dubious statistic.
On the contrary, NBC is merely the latest in a long string of newsrooms to repeat the 500 million straws claim,” Becket Adams wrote in the Washington Examiner at the time."
