Radical evil, and the online lynching of a kid from Kentucky | Spectator USA

Radical evil, and the online lynching of a kid from Kentucky | Spectator USA
Will journalists apologize if their portrayal of the Covington students vs Indian Elder incident turns out to have been wildly wrong?
...Now we have the truly outrageous, horrible story of what Kant called radical evil.
A white, male, Catholic teen who had been to the pro-life march and was wearing a MAGA hat smirked at an Indian Elder who was beating a drum in his face while clad in Native garb (but white Western eyeglasses).
It took place near the Lincoln Memorial Friday just after the pro-life March.
Videos of the horrible event went viral.
The Washington Post, natch, made it all about President Trump.
The episode, they skirled, ‘has heaped fuel on a long-running, intense argument among abortion opponents as to whether the close affiliation of many antiabortion leaders with President Trump since he took office has led to moral decay that harms the movement.’

Embedded video
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington apologized after videos emerged showing students from an all-male Catholic high school mocking Native Americans outside the Lincoln Memorial.

Huh?
Meanwhile, the boy’s high school has issued a statement of apology to the Indian Elder, Nathan Phillips, and to ‘Native Americans in general,’ whatever that means.
So far, the smirking teen has not been identified.
Doubtless he will be.
And he is in big trouble.
If the Twitter Mob had its way, he’d already have been lynched and had had his MAGA hat stuffed down his throat.
His high school is ‘investigating’ the incident and promises to take ‘appropriate action, up to and including expulsion.’
Expulsion?
To listen to some of the wailing, that would be too good for the kid.
He should have his life ruined.
He should be sent, like Captain Dreyfus, to Devil’s Island for a life of penal servitude.
I know that, of all human passions, the passion of moral self-righteousness is the most delicious.
The problem is, the people who are the objects of our indignation often present a more complicated reality than we first assume.
Take this MAGA-hat wearing teen.
He is presented as taunting the Indian Elder.
Just look at the video.
But wait.
A classmate has written to a local television station to give his side of the story, which is sharply at odds with the white-boy-bad version burning up the internet.
And another video, as Daniel McCarthy points out, shows the activists taunting the kids.
According to The Narrative, it was the teen who approached Phillips.
But according to the letter writer, the high schoolers were, as was their wont after the March for Life, gathered together cheering.
‘In the midst of our cheers,’ he writes, ‘we were approached by a group of adults led by Nathan Phillips, with Phillips beating his drum.’
‘They forced their way into the center of our group.
We initially thought this was a cultural display since he was beating along to our cheers and so we clapped to the beat.
However, after multiple minutes of Mr Phillips beating his drum directly in the face of my friend . . . we became confused and started wondering what was happening.
It was not until later that we discovered they would incriminate us as a publicity stunt.
As a result, my friend faces expulsion for simply standing still and our entire school is being disparaged for a crime we did not commit.’
Uh oh, a wrinkle, a tear in The Narrative.
And the tear gets bigger.
According to press accounts, some of the students verbally abused the Indian, some chanted ‘build the wall.’
I saw neither in the clip I watched..."

The spying involving Feinstein wasn’t reported by any news media organizations for five years –which meant the FBI didn’t feel the need to leak it. Even when this security breach was reported, it was only mentioned in passing by Politico Magazine in a story published last July 27 about extensive Chinese-espionage in Silicon Valley.

They hate you.
Leftists don’t merely disagree with you.
They don’t merely feel you are misguided.
They don’t think you are merely wrong.
They hate you.
They want you enslaved and obedient, if not dead.
Once you get that, everything that is happening now will make sense.
And you will understand what you need to be ready to do.
You are normal, and therefore a heretic.
You refuse to bow to their idols, to subscribe to their twisted catechisms, to praise their false gods. This is unforgivable.

Crazy talk?
Just ask them.
Go ahead.
Go on social media.
Find a leftist – it’s easy.
Just say something positive about America or Jesus and they’ll come swarming like locusts.
Engage them and very quickly they will drop their masks and tell you what they really think.
I know.
I keep a rapidly expanding file of Twitter leftist death wish screenshots.
...So the only outcome is that one side wins and the other loses.
...Understand your enemy.
Understand that the Left will exploit your principles and morals to make you disarm yourself – figuratively and literally.
Don’t play their game; don’t fall for their manufactured outrages.
Never concede their lies, never take their side against the people defending your liberty.
Most of all, accept the truth that if we let them win we will spend the rest of our lives on our backs with a giant Birkenstock pressed into our collective face.
They hate us.
And however they come at us, we need to be prepared to fight."

Trump's Re-Election Chances May Be Better Than You Think | RealClearPolitics
"What are Donald Trump's chances for re-election in 2020?
If history is any guide, pretty good.
In early 1994, Bill Clinton's approval rating after two years in office hovered around a dismal 40 percent...
Barack Obama was given a similarly dismal prognosis after the 2010 midterms, when Democrats lost 63 House seats and six Senate seats. Republicans regained majority control of the House, though Democrats clung to a narrow majority in the Senate.
At the time, Obama had an approval rating in the mid-40s..."

Pelosi's History of Abusing Military Travel - Bringing Family Members Aboard - Serving Top Shelf Liquor on Taxpayer Dime

  • House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has a long history of abusing military travel and wasting taxpayer money with outrageous requests, last minute changes and cancellations.

Like every other Communist of yesteryear, Nancy Pelosi believes she is royalty rather than a public servant.
...Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch uncovered Pelosi’s abuse of military travel on taxpayer dime which included bringing members of her family aboard and serving them top shelf liquor.
...Judicial Watch documented all of the “hidden costs” associated with Pelosi’s constant cancellations, last minute changes and outrageous demands going back to 2009:
  • In response to a series of requests for military aircraft, one Defense Department official wrote, “Any chance of politely querying [Pelosi’s team] if they really intend to do all of these or are they just picking every weekend?…[T]here’s no need to block every weekend ‘just in case’…” The email also notes that Pelosi’s office had, “a history of canceling many of their past requests.”
  • One DOD official complained about the “hidden costs” associated with the speaker’s last minute changes and cancellations. “We have…folks prepping the jets and crews driving in (not a short drive for some), cooking meals and preflighting the jets etc.”
Watch Tom Fitton rip Pelosi (who was House Speaker back then) apart for her outrageous demands and traveling on taxpayer dime back in 2009:

Criminality Of Deep State Investigation Of Trump Confirmed — Has U.S. Become A Banana Republic? | Investor's Business Daily:

Image result for wikicommons images Bruce OhrIn August of 2016, says Ohr, he briefed a handful of Justice Department officials, including Andrew Weissmann, then the top fraud official at DOJ, Bruce Swartz, who headed DOJ's international operations, and Zainab Ahmad, a terrorism prosecutor.
The names mean little until you discover that both Ahmad and Weissmann ended up working for Robert Mueller's Russia-Trump investigation. Then the circle, as the saying goes, is complete.
In short, FBI and Justice officials, working at times with the CIA's Brennan, got the ball rolling on the investigation of Trump. They knowingly used tainted, biased intelligence to spy on the Trump campaign.

BuzzFeed, Acosta, and the Non-Existence of Journalism | Roger L. Simon
"...Journalism, as a profession, does not exist.
We know generally or specifically what qualifies one to be a cardiologist or an astrophysicist or even, heaven help us, a lawyer.
But a journalist?
What possible credential makes one a journalist?
A degree from the Columbia School of Journalism?
Well, that proves your parents can afford a hundred grand. Either that or you're heavily in debt.
Anyone can be a journalist.
All you have to do is start typing.
...I know — the rap is that a real journalist is someone who fairly and impartially reports the truth, the proverbial chips falling how they may. (Stop laughing.)
How does that fit with what just went down with BuzzFeed?
Perhaps a better definition would be: a gullible idiot with an ax to grind.
You don't have to go to J-school for that.
All you have to be — like BuzzFeed's Jason Leopold — is another self-promoter willing (or, more exactly, eager) to believe it when someone tells you Donald Trump was dumb enough to tell Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about something that was  perfectly legal in the first place — to wit, building a hotel in Moscow.
Of course, BuzzFeed, as juvenile as they are, is not alone at this..."

MUST SEE: Democrat Lawmakers Suffer Meltdown After President Trump Grounds Pelosi's Flight to Belgium (VIDEO)

On Thursday afternoon, President Trump informed Speaker Pelosi her “public relations” trip to Afghanistan, Egypt, and Brussels has been postponed so that she can stay in DC and negotiate with him.

The President canceled Pelosi’s flight just one hour before she was scheduled to depart — Pelosi and other lawmakers were on the bus en route to the airport.

Trump told her to fly commercial on her own dime.

According to Fox News reporter, Chad Pergram, furious phone calls are flying back and forth from The Hill to the State to the Pentagon and White House.
Pelosi’s bus was seen circling the US Capitol after the flights were grounded.
It was a rough day for Democrats.

Black Lives Only Matter If They Are Taken by Whites | Intellectual Takeout
"Social media rang with righteous indignation over the senseless killing of Jazmine Barnes, who was shot and killed while riding in a car along with her mother and three sisters on a Texas highway on Dec. 30.
The gunman, who was identified as a white man, allegedly drove a red pickup truck and fired upon the Barnes family seemingly randomly and without any provocation.
A picture quickly emerged of a racist murderer on the loose, hell-bent on killing innocent black children.
Image result for jazmine barnes caseAll of the usual alarms were triggered.
New York Daily News writer Shaun King, a leader of the Black Lives Matter movement, who was made famous in the aftermath of the Ferguson, Missouri, protests, rushed to tweet out accusations about the alleged suspect, a man named Robert Cantrell.
...One of those tips ultimately led to the arrest of two suspects, both of whom turned out to be African-American males.
...Prominent Dallas civil rights attorney Lee Merritt also joined the case, primarily due to his belief (based on the initial description of the suspect) that the shooting was racially motivated.
“That’s why I was brought on,” Merritt told the Washington Post last week. We want to emphasize the racial nature of the attack and that hate-crime charges are appropriate.”
Merritt’s statement begs the question, of course: Aren’t most murders, by definition, crimes of hatred?

  • When, on Monday, the new suspect was arrested and it appeared the motive was not race-related, the hoopla immediately died down.
  • Gone was the righteous indignation on social media.
  • No more celebrity attorneys announced they were interested in the case...
