The Latest College Lunacy: Correct English Grammar Is ‘Racist’
"Just when we thought colleges could not spout loonier ideas, we have a new one from American University.
They hired a professor to teach other professors to grade students based on their “labor” rather than their writing ability.
The professor that American University hired to teach that nonsense is Asao B. Inoue, who is a professor at the University of Washington in Tacoma in interdisciplinary arts and sciences.
He is also the director of the university’s writing center.
Inoue believes that a person’s writing ability should not be assessed, in order to promote “anti-racist” objectives.
Inoue taught American University’s faculty members that their previous practices of grading writing promoted white language supremacy..."

"Since 2015, residents of the state of Maine have been allowed to carry a concealed firearm without any special permit, and now the results are in: crime has fallen to the point where the state is now rated the safest in the nation from the threat of crime.
The Maine Examiner reports:
When Maine passed a “Constitutional Carry” law allowing Maine residents to carry a concealed firearm without any special permit in 2015, opponents of the law forecast a dangerous future for the state.
They said the new law would hurt public safety and put Maine kids at risk.
One (democrat) state representative who opposed the bill went so far as to say it would give Mainers a reason to be afraid every time they went out in public or to work..."

FAIRFAX, Va. — A penis ring toss, vagina bean bag toss, and lubricant taste tests were just a few of the activities students at George Mason University took part in Tuesday night at a “Consent Carnivalhosted by the Student Support and Advocacy Center.
The vagina bean bag toss boasted giant inflatable lips that served to mimic a “vagina,” and students could throw large pink bean bags into it.
The game doubled as an educational display, informing students on flyers that “not all people with vaginas are women.”
Genitalia is not an indicator of gender and it can be harmful to assume so,” the display added...

"What’s the difference between a conservative and a progressive?
Here are three examples.
No. 1: Conservatives and progressives have different views about individuals and communities.
  • Conservatives ask: “What can I do for myself, my family, my community, and my fellow citizens?”
  • Progressives ask: “What is unfair?” “What am I owed?” “What has offended me today?” “What must my country do for me?”

Yet one more Russiagate "bombshell" turns out to be a dud. Between today's CNN one and @lawrence's recent claim about Russian oligarchs co-signing Trump's bank loans, there's at least a little progress: they're being exposed as fraudulent at a faster pace than before.
And this from comments:
Maggie B Poinski :Worth mentioning for those who might be unaware, CNN's Jim Sciutto (responsible for this latest fake news report) is a former Obama administration official. He would be privy to the basic facts of when/why/how in this matter and went forward with this in spite of those undeniably important details. Hence, this was nothing more but another 'hit job' attempt on Trump in order to kick up dust as the democrats grasp at nothing in order to begin impeachment process.
