The U.S. Media Who Embraced China's 'Zero Coronavirus Cases' Claim:
U.S. media outlets uncritically relayed China’s claim of zero new coronavirus infections in Hubei province and the city of Wuhan on Thursday, mixing in outrageous helpings of fawning praise for the Communist dictatorship that unleashed the virus upon the world.
The American media narrative appears to be that zero infections in Hubei mean everything that happened in December and January is forgotten, and China is now the world leader in pandemic defense.
The link between unemployment and suicide | World Economic Forum "An important study that examines the social costs of the 2008 banking crisis and the economic recession it created has just been published. The analysis, carried out by Carlos Nordt and colleagues at the University of Zurich, explored the link between increases in rates of unemployment and suicide. They attribute 45,000 – or one in five – suicides a year worldwide to unemployment, with a further 5,000 deaths caused by the economic crisis...
Shooting Illustrated | Dry Practice Drills for Homebound Shooters
"...I suppose that one could sit and wring his hands, or he could get busy and setup some regular dry practice right there in the home.
Notice I said dry practice, not dry fire practice.
If you are doing it right, and safely, there is no firing involved.
...In dry practice, you can work to improve your draw stroke, your sight picture, and your trigger press..." Read all!.

Watch: Trump Spars with NBC's Peter Alexander in Coronavirus Briefing:
Donald Trump berated NBC reporter Peter Alexander on Friday for suggesting he was offering “false hope” to Americans, by talking about the effectiveness of drugs like chloroquine to fight the Chinese coronavirus.
“Is it possible that your impulse to put a positive spin on things may be giving Americans a false sense of hope and misrepresenting preparedness right now?” Alexander asked.
"The online news outlet Axios on Wednesday published a bombshell news story: Bernie Sanders, reporter Alexi McCammond wrote, was suspending his presidential campaign.
“It’s an end to the campaign of the leading progressive in the race—and the candidate who seemed to be the clear front-runner for the Democratic nomination less than a month ago,” the report stated.
The only problem: It wasn’t true. And this wasn’t a run-of-the mill error, but a miscue on arguably the most anticipated (and inevitable) political story in the country.
* * * * * * * *
One imagines that an error of the same magnitude from a conservative reportorial outlet would not be treated with the same level of understanding with which it was received by Axios’s mainstream media counterparts. Media reporters at the country’s top newspapers didn’t muster a tweet about the incident.Mediaite, an online publication devoted to covering print, digital, and television media, covered the story this way: “Bernie Sanders Swats Down ‘Absolutely False’ Report Claiming End of Campaign After Twitter Frenzy.” The incident reveals the insidious way in which the mainstream media, which have spent the past three years obsessing about the spread of fake news, operate like a cartel, ruthlessly enforcing standards on outsiders but refusing to police themselves.

"Magically, after years, the FBI finds more Clinton emails that are classified, involve Benghazi, and detail communications with President Obama," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "This drip, drip game that the DOJ, FBI, and State are playing is a key reason a federal court authorized more discovery, including the sworn deposition of Hillary Clinton."
Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum challenged Symone Sanders after the senior Biden campaign adviser called the term “Chinese coronavirus” a “racial slur” on Wednesday’s “The Story with Martha MacCallum.”
Millions Of Older Americans Live In Counties With No ICU Beds As Pandemic Intensifies | Kaiser Health News: "More than half the counties in America have no intensive care beds, posing a particular danger for more than 7 million people who are age 60 and up ― older patients who face the highest risk of serious illness or death from the rapid spread of COVID-19, a Kaiser Health News data analysis shows. Intensive care units have sophisticated equipment, such as bedside machines to monitor a patient’s heart rate and ventilators to help them breathe..." Read all.
President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has directed Federal Drug Administration commissioner Stephen Hahn to waive “outdated rules and bureaucracies” on the testing of various “anti-viral therapies” to combat coronavirus.
Trump noted that the vaccine pursued by the National Institutes of Health and other medical bodies, “by its nature” requires lengthy testing periods.
"If you’d told me just a few weeks ago that Trump Derangement Syndrome had reached the point that prominent American politicians andnews media people would be openly rooting for a major pandemic to collapse the financial markets, I would not have believed it.
Surely, they would never go THAT far, I would have thought.
And then I watched it happen before my eyes.
I watched ghouls in human form hoping a virus would kill hundreds, if not thousands of their fellow Americans so the Dow Jones and the NASDAQ would plummet, and this could be used to politically damage a President they didn’t like.
...It used to be that nobody would ever have dreamed of using something like the Corona-virus for political gain. This is how insane Democrats are after all their previous gambits to remove Trump from office failed. They keep upping the ante on their hysteria.
The fact that Democrats were perfectly willing to see a pandemic strike the United States and cause mass death as well as financial losses if it would politically damage President Donald Trump is yet another sign this party has lost its mind..."
Arctic Team Looking for Global Warming Not Only Ice-Locked, But Now Have Coronavirus
"A team of researchers in the arctic that have been looking for signs of global warming are now ice-locked and can’t get out of port.
Not only that, but now they have coronavirus!
The expedition called MOSAiC stationed in the Arctic has been stuck in place by “unexpected” amounts of ice.
But now the airborn arm of the research team is grounded for another reason.
One of its members just tested positive for COVID-19.
And now the whole team has been quarantined over concerns about the virus, Nature reported..." Read all.
I assume this paragraph is what the president is referring to when he claims that his admin broke/changed/overcame the standard rules and procedures of the previous admin:
"Today’s emergency authorization is as historic as the outbreak it’s intended to contain.
When MERS broke out in Saudi Arabia in June 2012, the FDA didn’t issue its first emergency use authorization for a diagnostic test until the following June.
For Zika, it took about seven months after the virus exploded in Brazil.
The speed with which public health officials are now pushing through a new diagnostic test shows just how seriously they’re taking the potentially pandemic threat of 2019-nCoV.
It’s also a sign that the world is starting to learn how to deal with an onslaught of new pathogens."
