Chinese Leader Xi Jinping personally asked the World Health Organization to delay the release of critical information regarding its coronavirus outbreak, German intelligence has concluded.
Xi met with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on January 21 to request that he withhold information about human-to-human transition and delay the declaration of a global pandemic, according to German magazine Der Spiegel. The news comes amid rising sentiment that China should be held financially responsible for the pandemic.

To wit, just hours ago, we documented how declining fleet sales was having a profoundly negative impact on automakers.
Previously, we pointed out how a crash in used car prices could be putting significant pressure on the rental car industry.
And most notably, several days ago we also wrote that automakers were having so much trouble finding space for their unsellable inventory that ships bearing auto cargo from overseas were denied entry at US ports and sent back out into the ocean.
Now, we are seeing firsthand what buildups of inventory look like in major cities.
Philadelphia is rapidly becoming the case study which other cities will follow, because as Inquirer reports, the city's sports complex parking lots are now being used as lots for rental car companies based at the Philadelphia Airport.
In other words, there are so many cars available, not even airport parking lots can hold them anymore.
..Most recently, Bloomberg reported this morning that rental icon Hertz hired advisors to consider a bankruptcy and the auto industry has placed a major bet on incentives to try and move inventory off of their lots.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Thursday signed an executive order to extend the state’s stay-at-home order through the end of May for nonessential workers while allowing for manufacturing workers to resume work next week.
Whitmer’s executive order comes a day after state lawmakers filed a lawsuit to compel her to reopen the economy following her extension of the state’s coronavirus emergency declaration. The lawsuit capped off weeks of protests that featured armed demonstrators at the state Capitol.

In a March 2, 2017, interview with MSNBC, Farkas claimed knowledge of incriminating information about Trump and his aides.
She urged intelligence community bureaucrats to protect evidence of alleged collusion and even leak it to media.
