An FBI memo declassified last week shows that the Steele dossier’s allegations about former Trump campaign aide Carter Page came from two sources, one of whom was described as having a Russian spy handler, while the other was the source of an allegation in the dossier that the FBI flagged as possible Russian disinformation.
The FBI document shows that a contractor for Christopher Steele told investigators in January 2017 that two women — identified as Source 3 and Source 5 — provided the information about Page that ended up in the dossier.

Attorney Kevin Jamison, author of the book Missouri Weapons and Self-Defense Law, said the case against Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the duo that has become well-known for warding off protesters with an M16A2-style rifle and handgun, is “weak to say the least.” Jamison suspects political bias to have played a role in the circuit attorney’s decision to seize the McCloskey guns and ponder charges, he told the Daily Caller News Foundation in an interview.
“The prosecutor has a lot of latitude in filing charges, but I think she’s here just to posture for her political base,” Jamison told the DCNF. “We have a legal system that is operated by people, and people bring their prejudices with them when they come to work.”

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said that the memo “indicates that the reliability of the dossier was completely destroyed” after the interviews, which were conducted over the course of three days in January 2017.
“These documents, which I have long sought, tell a damning story for anyone who’s interested in trying to find the truth behind the corrupt nature of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign in 2016 and beyond,” Graham said in a statement announcing the release of the document.
