Effectiveness of Adding a Mask Recommendation to Other Public Health Measures to Prevent SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Danish Mask Wearers: A Randomized Controlled Trial: Annals of Internal Medicine: Vol 0, No 0
  • "...Results:
A total of 3030 participants ...
  • Limitation:
Inconclusive results, missing data, variable adherence, patient-reported findings on home tests, no blinding, and no assessment of whether masks could decrease disease transmission from mask wearers to others.
  • Conclusion:
The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection...Read all.

HOW THE LEFT MANUFACTURED A FOLK DEVIL.

Instapundit--HOW THE LEFT MANUFACTURED A FOLK DEVIL.

JORDAN PETERSON: HOW THE LEFT MANUFACTURED A FOLK DEVIL.

Over the past few days, Jordan Peterson’s critics have been doing their utmost to publicise his forthcoming book, Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life. The famous clinical psychologist announced the publication on his YouTube channel on Monday, and within hours the book was being widely denounced on social media for its hateful content. This is quite a feat of the collective imagination, given that nobody has read it yet.

Much of the furore has come about because employees at the Canadian branch of the publisher, Penguin Random House, have called for the book to be cancelled...

...This is just the latest example of a new trend of activist employees threatening to strike for ideological reasons...

As Ray Bradbury predicted in Fahrenheit 451, books will be burned to protect everyone’s feelings as much as to block the content within them.

But I’m not sure if even he would have predicted that it would be the publishers’ staffers who would be manning the flamethrowers...:

Report: Moscow Plans Social Credit System

Report: Moscow Plans Social Credit System

Open Media, a Russian Internet freedom news portal, reported on Tuesday that Moscow is preparing to implement a “social credit” system similar to the one used in China.

Social credit systems monitor residents in various ways and feed huge amounts of data about them into algorithms that evaluate the quality of their citizenship, including their loyalty to the ruling regime. Those flagged as “poor citizens” can find themselves automatically stripped of benefits, barred from employment, or prevented from traveling, usually with little chance of appealing the system’s judgments.

"...Sheriffs in four New York counties said last week on social media that they would not be enforcing the coronavirus rules, claiming their jurisdiction does not apply inside people’s homes and that the orders were not constitutionally defensible.
Cuomo...“I believe that law enforcement officer violates his or her constitutional duty. I don't consider them a law enforcement officer. Because you don't have the right to pick laws that you think you will enforce, and you don't enforce laws that you don't agree with. Right. That's not a law enforcement officer. That's a dictator,” he added. “God bless you,” Cuomo added. “But don't ask me for help.”

Nine useful articles and data points showcasing 2020's election theft - American Thinker
"There's a growing body of detailed information explaining both the traditional election fraud and the computer vote theft that threw this election to Biden.
Indeed, in the past weeks, our American Thinker authors have added greatly to that body of work. Today, though, there was an explosion of information — including Rudy Giuliani's stunning statements before the Pennsylvania Legislature — so I wanted to put a road map together for you in a single post.
Fasten your seatbelts and hold on to your hats, because this is going to be a wild ride of amazing, horrifying, and fascinating information about the greatest election heist in American history.

3. Gregory Strenstrom testified before the Pennsylvania Legislature that USB drives with data were missing, that people were walking around with bags of USBs that they plugged into voting machines, that the chain of custody for drives and ballots was broken, that unopened mail-in ballots and 47 USB cards vanished, and that various other documents and records were destroyed.

As a reminder, it's illegal to destroy voting records.  Moreover, the doctrine of spoliation holds that when people destroy records they're required to maintain, the law will presume that the records were adverse to them...

(I assume that Democrats didn't bring significant fraud to the 2016 election because they didn't think they had to.  They were so confident that Hillary couldn't lose that they skipped taking out their "insurance policy.")...Read all.

Vermont Gov. Phil Scott said during a press conference..."We understand how difficult this is, but since we know these types of gatherings have been the cause of so many outbreaks, we've got to do all we can to slow this down," Scott said.
...“From my standpoint, this is fair warning to those of you who are planning to have gatherings from outside your household for Thanksgiving,” Scott added.

Jason Whitlock Exposes the Left's 'Mental Slavery' Over African Americans - Louder With Crowder

One of the high points of the Trump administration is the inroads he made with black voters. Every Republican has been saying for years we need to. The guy the media paints as Racist McHitler actually got it done. It wasn't only with black voters either, to the dismay of leftists anywhere. The question now is how to build on that. Jason Whitlock has an idea. Conservatives need to expose what the left thinks about the black community. Whitlock said white liberals want to limit the freedom black people enjoy in America. He takes it a step further here.

Report: Facebook hatched 'emergency' plan using 'secret internal ranking' to suppress 'right-wing' news sources post-election - TheBlaze

In the tense days after the election as claims of widespread fraud were being disseminated on the platform, Facebook reportedly made an "emergency change" to its algorithm to suppress news sources that were spreading what the company believed to be "election misinformation." POLL: Who is the most corrupt? According to the New York Times, the change involved weighting news sources using a "secret internal ranking" of publishers that Facebook created based on "signals about the quality of their journalism." The result became the more prominent featuring of posts from mainstream news outlets such as "CNN, The New York Times, and NPR," and the suppression of posts from "right-wing" outlets.
