But more recently, there are hundreds of Trump supporters who were captured January 6 who have been confined for months since then at D.C., some of whom are being prosecuted and all of whom have been branded as “domestic terrorists” by influential government officials and media figures.
Many of these defendants need pro bono legal services, too.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s campaign on Monday filed a campaign finance report showing she had raised $3.1 million this period, a number bolstered once more by jumbo contributions that exceeded what would normally be the contribution limit.
Typically, Michigan campaign finance law limits contributions from individuals to $7,150. 

However, the Whitmer campaign has relied on some 1980s guidance from the Secretary of State’s office indicating the limit doesn’t apply when a candidate is facing recall.
