The French revolt against 'woke ideology' after a non-binary pronoun is added to a dictionary - TheBlaze

French lawmakers are revolting against the inclusion of a "non-binary pronoun" into the French language by the newest edition of the Le Robert online dictionary. "Inclusive writing is not the future of the French language," tweeted Jean-Michel Blanquer, the Minister of Education. "Hence, even though our students are consolidating their fundamental knowledge, they cannot have this as a reference."

Tesla is nearly last on Consumer Reports reliability list
"Following a tumultuous year for Tesla including a company relocation helmed by
CEO Elon Musk, viral reports of cars on fire and other self-admitted quality control issues, Tesla has plummeted on Consumer Reports’ annual list of most-reliable carmakers.
The electric car manufacturer now ranks 27th out of 28 car brands on Consumer Reports’ list, above only Ford-owned legacy luxury brand Lincoln.

A pair of New York Times journalists who recently set out to explore what happens when Democrats control all the levels of power in state and local governments across the country were shocked to discover that "blue states" — not red ones — "are the problem."

"What do Democrats actually do when they have all the power?" Times video journalist Johnny Harris asked at the outset of an opinion video posted by the paper last week.

"Affirmative Action has been a long-standing policy in most universities and government departments. It is carried out under the unquestioned assumption of 'Diversity' being our greatest strength.
Thomas Sowell discusses how it affects various minority groups at each other's expense, and how it may be producing the opposite results that it was intended to produce.

Gov DeSantis visits Brandon Honda in Brandon, Florida to sign legislation that prohibits mandatory COVID-19 vaccination: 'We are respecting people's individual freedom in this state' - TheBlaze

Sunshine State Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday signed legislation that ensures Floridians have the freedom to make their own decisions regarding COVID-19 vaccination without facing the threat of losing their job. "We are respecting people's individual freedom in this state," DeSantis said while delivering remarks at the Brandon Honda dealership in Brandon, Florida.

Wise comments! Questions we need to ask.

Facebook  Sean Malone
"There are lessons for the left and the right here.
  • For those on the right -- The justice system isn't what many of you think it is, and it's even worse for people who are poor and/or have low social status.
  • For those on the left -- All those times you may have complained about prosecutors railroading innocent people by breaking all sorts of rules of due process, well... You just watched it happen, and you were on the wrong side of the whole issue.
Catherine Bernard
Kyle Rittenhouse never initiated force against anyone. The jury was right to find him not guilty on all counts.
  • If you're happy about the verdict: remember how badly you saw the prosecutors behave, and recognize that they are often like this - it's just that usually there's not enough public scrutiny to expose it. This anger at the justice system is what has animated many protesters, so look at it as an opportunity to find common ground on reform.
  • If you're sad about the verdict: ask yourself what makes you choose to be on the side of the mob or the guy they're chasing, and how that decision is affected by narrative/propaganda. And why we don't see police officers who kill innocent people put on trial in this way.
Maybe the government wants us hating and fearing each other instead of rooting out its oppressive conduct?"

Not the one they hoped for, either.
While fans were buying the first available Guardians merchandise on Friday as the team officially transitioned from Indians after 106 years, a sign installed outside the team store at Progressive Field broke free from its mount and crashed to the sidewalk.

Horowitz: Are elites planning a COVID repeat ... with smallpox? - TheBlaze

So when Bill Gates is warning about smallpox right before vials of smallpox are discovered, and in the same week a Maryland woman tests positive for monkeypox, we should pay attention. But that is not even the punch line. Just like with coronavirus, they were already working on a "cure." On June 4, the CDC randomly approved a smallpox drug, Tembexa (brincidofovir), because "there have been longstanding concerns that the virus that causes smallpox, the variola virus, could be used as a bioweapon."

How Michigan's UIA shrugged off a $4 billion mistake | Michigan | thecentersquare.com
"(The Center Square) – When an audit found that Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) paid out nearly $4 billion in ineligible claims, the agency acknowledged “some errors were made.”
...“The agency had two choices:
  • Either get the money out the door as soon as possible
  • and don’t verify anyone’s eligibility,
  • or they verify the eligibility, and it takes a little bit longer to get the money,” Johnson said.
“That decision cost the state of Michigan $4 billion.”
...Senior UIA staff said said that former UIA Director Steve Gray “made unilateral decisions” before his Nov. 2020 resignation and then, at that time, secretly pocketed an $85,872 severance deal and a confidentiality agreement amid months of record jobless claims.
