California Water and Infrastructure Report

Scientists Skeptical of Anthropogenic Global Warming | Facebook - by Patrick Ruckert  - http://www.californiadroughtupdate.org/20230406...
"...Following the U.S. Drought Monitor map, we have an update on the status of the Sites Reservoir Project.
Twenty years of “planning” and now another six years of construction beginning next year is a good illustration of the bankruptcy of the political class and the limited thinking of water managers, who are good at managing crises, but not solving them...
  • The flooding continues and will get worse, if not much worse, as the snowpack begins to melt with the warmer weather.
  • The damage to agriculture is in the hundreds of millions of dollars and is expected to become much more as it is tallied and the Spring flooding to come will inflict further damage...

Lunch video-----How Current Climate Models Cave On Themselves, To Kevin Dayaratna

"In this video, Kevin Dayaratna explains how climate models, like the Social Cost of Carbon, are estimated, the fatal flaws of their built in assumptions, and thus how the estimations are able to be so greatly over-inflated to promote dangerous climate change policy.
Dayaratna demonstrates the extreme deviancy between climate model predictions and the actual graphing of climate, as well as how the Biden Administrations carbon tax model cannot withstand its own energy policy.

Private property may need to be seized by federal government, corporations to advance climate initiatives, says JPMorgan CEO - TheBlaze

Private property may need to be seized by federal government, corporations to advance climate initiatives, says JPMorgan CEO - TheBlaze:

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon recently suggested in his annual letter to shareholders that the federal government and large corporations may have to seize private property from U.S. citizens to advance climate initiatives, which he claimed are not being implemented fast enough to avoid potential climate-related crises. According to Dimon's Tuesday letter, in order to acquire "adequate investments fast enough for grid, solar, wind and pipeline initiatives," governments and businesses may need to implement "eminent domain."

Uncomfortable truths

Uncomfortable truths - Vivek Ramaswamy @VivekGRamaswamy
  • 1 million white Europeans were stolen & sold into slavery in Africa.
  • And more African slaves were sold into the Arab slave trade than the Atlantic one.
Moral of the story: it’s impossible to fix sins of the past by treating people today based on skin color.
History is inexorably complex.

Are there justice free zones in America today?

Facebook - Michael Smith
"Are there justice free zones in America today – places where a fair trial is practically impossible?
I think the evidence says that there are, especially if you are a Christian, a conservative Republican or a former president named Donald J. Trump.
  • ...We just saw a man convicted of murder - in Texas of all places – for protecting himself. U.S. Army sergeant Daniel Perry fatally shot a “protester” at BLM demonstration in 2020, the “protester” in question was approaching Sergeant Perry while pointing the business end of an AK-47 at him...A Travis County grand jury returned a murder indictment against him...
  • Then there is the case of the Arizona rancher, George Kelly, who shot and killed an illegal alien crossing his property after being constantly faced with illegals threatening him, his wife and property for the past two years....The man he killed, identified as Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, was convicted of illegal entry and deported back to Mexico several times, most recently in 2016. Santa Cruz County went for Biden in 2020 in a margin of 67.2% to 32.8%. How much of a chance do you suppose Kelly has?
  • About as much as a J6 protestor charged and tried in Washington, D.C. (that went 92.1% to 5.4% for Biden over Trump in 2020).
Let’s not kid ourselves.
In these jurisdictions, the fates of Sgt. Perry, George Kelly – and Donald J. Trump – were sealed the minute they were charged...

FBI says you shouldn't use public phone charging stations

FBI says you shouldn't use public phone charging stations
  • The FBI is warning consumers about “juice jacking,” where bad actors use public chargers to infect phones and devices with malware.
  • The law enforcement agency says consumers should avoid using public chargers at malls and airports, and stick to their own USB cables and charging plugs.
The FBI recently warned consumers against using free public charging stations, saying crooks have managed to hijack public chargers that can infect devices with malware, or software that can give hackers access to your phone, tablet or computer...

GERMANS HAVE GIVEN UP ON “GREEN” ENERGY

GERMANS HAVE GIVEN UP ON “GREEN” ENERGY

"Not the German government, which continues on a collision course with reality. But Germans have figured out that the green dream is turning into a nightmare. This report is on a survey of Germans done by forsa:

An overwhelming majority of the German population is of the opinion that a successful energy transition is not realistic. According to a Forsa survey, 88 percent of respondents share this view.

88 percent! That is stunning.

The Germans have less and less confidence in the Federal Government’s plans for the energy transition. Only ten percent still believe that renewable energy systems such as photovoltaics and wind power can adequately meet the country’s energy needs...

Meet the Left's New Soros: Swiss Billionaire Becomes Democrat Mega-Donor

Meet the Left's New Soros: Swiss Billionaire Becomes Democrat Mega-Donor:

The Sixteen Thirty Fund’s multi-million dollar grants singlehandedly powered some other organizations on the left, and it also incubated other groups, as a “fiscal sponsor,” that fought against Trump’s Supreme Court nominees, backed liberal ballot measures and policy proposals in different states and organized opposition to Republican tax and health care policies. [Emphasis added]

Its massive 2020 fundraising and spending illustrates the extent to which the left embraced the use of “dark money” to fight for its causes in recent years. After decrying big-money Republican donors over the last decade, as well as the Supreme Court rulings that flooded politics with more cash, Democrats now benefit from hundreds of millions of dollars of undisclosed donations as well. [Emphasis added]

Meanwhile, the New Venture Fund, which has received almost $40 million in donations from Wyss since 2016, centers its nonprofit work around the tenants of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

“Our vision is an equitable world built on respect, access, opportunity, distributed power, and advancement for all people,” the group’s mission statement reads.

From 2010!!-----Classic Stossel: Battle for the Future

"The news is ugly.
Big government keeps growing.
The Federal government alone, now spends $19,434  per American.
When I did this video 12 years ago, it was ONLY $10,000.
Back then two visions were at war for the future of America:  On the left, the progressives, on the right, the conservatives.
They clashed about the healthcare bill, Wall Street reform, and the stimulus packages.
But the fight really boiled down to one key question:  Do we need MORE or LESS government?
A Classic Stossel from 2010.

Texas AG Paxton slams 'Soros-backed' prosecutor after jury convicts Army sergeant for shooting protester | Fox News

Texas AG Paxton slams 'Soros-backed' prosecutor after jury convicts Army sergeant for shooting protester | Fox News:

FIRST ON FOX: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is lashing out at a "Soros-backed" prosecutor after a Lone Star State jury found Daniel Perry, a U.S. Army sergeant, guilty in the shooting death of an armed protester in Austin during anti-police demonstrations in the summer of 2020. "Self-defense is a God-given right, not a crime. Unfortunately, the Soros-backed DA in Travis County cares more about the radical agenda of dangerous Antifa and BLM mobs than justice," Paxton said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "This week has shown us how rogue prosecutors have weaponized the judicial system," he added. "They must be stopped!"

Maybe because the media lies to us? On purpose!-----The more you trust the media, the less accurate you are

The more you trust the media, the less accurate you are
"...The other day I wrote about the correlation between political ideology and assumptions about how many unarmed Blacks are killed by police.
In it I discussed a study done by the Skeptic Research Center that showed that people who identify as liberal are least likely to guess how many unarmed Black men are killed by police.
Not by a little, but by a lot.
Almost none of the liberals guessed in the right range–the number is about 10 a year–and over half guessed that the number was between 1000 to 10,000...Read all!
