Students learn to put together 'plus sized outfit' in 'Intro to Fat Studies': EXCLUSIVE COURSE DOCS - The Daily Bo Snerdley - by Brendan McDonald
"The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque is currently offering an introductory course on “fat studies” this semester in which students will put together a “plus sized outfit” and consider “antifatness” as another form of oppression.
“This course will consider the structural forces that construct fatness as problematic—as diseased, gross, dirty, lazy, gluttonous, and other negative characteristics—thereby reinforcing antifatness,” the course syllabus states, which Campus Reform acquired through a public records request...

Our debt-ridden economy is not strong and healthy - Detroit News

Our debt-ridden economy is not strong and healthy - Detroit News
"Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer had a friendly chat last week at the Detroit Economic Club, during which they marveled at the health of the U.S. economy...
  • The “healthy” economy was propped up by $1.7 trillion in deficit spending in 2023, an amount equal to 28% of total revenues.
  • None of us would consider our household finances healthy if we were putting a quarter of our spending on credit cards we never pay down.
  • Earlier this month, the federal debt hit $34 trillion. That's a five-fold increase over the past 20 years. The Treasury reached that mark five years ahead of projections.
  • In his three years as spender in chief, Biden has added roughly $6 trillion to the national debt.
  • Donald Trump, his predecessor and current rival in the presidential campaign, added $8 trillion over four years. So don't expect fiscal discipline to be touted on the campaign trail this year.
  • It should be front and center. Per-capita debt the amount each American owes on behalf of the country - is now about $100,000, up from roughly $61,000 at the start of Trump's first term.
  • And there's no end in sight. The annual deficit is projected to hit $2.6 trillion by 2034...

It's the SPENDING, stupid!

American Giant launched in 2011 with a plan as focused as it was ambitious: to create the greatest hooded sweatshirt known to man — and to do so entirely in the USA, from growing the cotton to final cutting and sewing.

Almost a decade and a half later, founder Bayard Winthrop's bet seems to have paid off, if glowing reviews like "I've been wearing this hoodie to work for ten years" are any indication. With success has come expansion; the San Francisco-based apparel maker now offers everything from polos and jeans to outerwear and socks.

St Louis Park School District To Allow Muslim Families To Opt Out Of LGBT Reading Lessons | The Daily Caller

The St. Louis Park public school district in Minnesota will reportedly allow Muslim families to opt out of LGBT reading lessons for students. Two public interest law firms, True North Legal and First Liberty Institute, sent letters to the district saying forcing Muslims to participate in LGBT lessons is a violation of the First Amendment and state law, according to Alpha News. The letter was reportedly in response to six Muslim families requesting the school to provide notice before any LGTQ-related books are presented to their children and opt them out of these lessons.

Kruiser's Handy Election Year Guide to Topics the Democrats' Media Hacks Will Be Censoring STEPHEN KRUISER
  • "...We write about the truths that the faux journos on the Left want us to shut the hell up about. I'm going to go over just a few of them here.
1. Trans Issues - Anyone who writes anything truthful about trans issues is immediately labeled a bigot by the Pronoun Mafia. If I write about the unfairness of biological males competing against females in athletics, I'm history's greatest monster. Of course, being opposed to letting third-graders opt for genital mutilation without their parents knowing about it means one is hopelessly transphobic.
2. Any Skepticism About What Government Health Officials Say - The COVID-19 hangover is still going on. The petty tyrants who were given a power boost in 2020 don't want to let go of it and are relentlessly battling for continued relevance. We've already seen them trying to sell the idea of a "tripledemic," which, thankfully, most people aren't buying. Still, expect the vaccine pushers to push harder.
3. Election Fraud - Don't you dare question what happens to mail-in ballots whilst they float around unseen while en route, Rethuglicans! This goes double during an election year. There's nothing to see here, move long now.
4. Climate Change/Green Government Scam - This is the big one. The Climate Church has its dream administration running the Executive Branch now. The people running Joe Biden's brain do everything that they can to line the pockets of Big Green at the expense of the American taxpayer. The media hacks will do everything that they can to protect their Precious...

Feds: Illegals Charged with NYPD Attack Members of Venezuelan Gang

Thanks to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D), linked to billionaire George Soros, previously not requesting bail for most, Brito and Madris were the only two illegal aliens charged in the attack who have remained consistently in jail, while the others had been released.

A so-called “sanctuary church” in Brooklyn, this week, had sought to help free Brito from jail by paying his previously set $15,000 cash bail, but he was ordered held on the bail on Friday.

According to ICE officials, who spoke to the Washington Times‘s Stephen Dinan, Juarez and Arocha are both members of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua and crossed the southern border at some point in the last couple of years.

Census goes political, to grill Americans on 'gender identity'

The United States Census is planning to introduce questions on gender identity and sexual orientation for the first time in its history, according to The Associated Press. The questions will be sent to 480,000 households and can be answered online, by mail, via phone or during in-person interviews, with only half expected to respond, according to the AP. If approved, the bureau plans to include them in its annual American Community Survey and will ask respondents about their sex assigned at birth and their sexual orientation.

"Grieving parents made these audio deepfakes to stir the emotions of lawmakers.

Joaquin Oliver was killed in the Parkland school shooting. Now with AI, the 17-year-old’s voice can be heard again. WSJ’s Joanna Stern sat down with Joaquin’s parents to find out how and why they are preserving their son’s legacy this way.
PARKLAND, Fla.—Lawmakers are starting to get calls from a surprising group of kids—dead ones.

Both are probably right.

Worthy read!-----Justice, American Style - JAMES ALLAN

Justice, American Style - DR JAMES ALLAN
"...However, for a long time now I’ve also pointed out that the U.S. justice system is woefully bad.
Let me be clear.
It seriously stinks.
At the federal level some 98% of accused are convicted – a laughably embarrassing figure for any democracy.
Almost all of those are convictions without trial where the Feds have basically threatened you with 500 years in jail or you cut a deal, plead guilty and take a tolerably low sentence.
  • (And for all those who say “well, you should never plead guilty if you didn’t do it” I point out that they also cut deals with all sorts of others who have to testify against you and fighting the charges will bankrupt you and your family even if you win and only the uber brave can withstand this treatment.)
...Take the recent defamation case against the legendarily funny columnist Mark Steyn in Washington D.C. brought by the climate change alarmist Michael Mann – yes, the hockey stick guy who laughably claimed to be a Nobel laureate for years.
This trial and verdict makes a mockery of the idea that any politically conservative person could get a remotely fair trial in Washington D.C. (where some 93% vote Democrat year in and year out)...
In addition to Steyn the justice system has pretty clearly been weaponised in the U.S. against Trump and his former advisors...

"It has been an open secret for years now that big foundations funded by billionaire families like the Gates, Getty, and Rockefeller clans have played a big role in funding the various climate alarmist campaigns to vilify so-called “fossil fuels.”
  • Lesser known until recently is the role these billionaire foundations play in convincing various government entities to travel down the same path.
Fox News reported this week that several billionaire interests, led by the Rockefeller Family Fund, put pressure on the New York Attorney General’s office during 2015 to target ExxonMobil with a subpoena for records related to an investigation into the company’s early research related to global warming...

Media are desperately distracting us with an agenda of hysterical noise | Blaze Media

And finally, hysterical news is a product of hysterical minds, a natural tendency based in personal psychology.

There is, let’s put this very gently, a certain kind of mind that catastrophizes as a matter of habit. I find myself frequently thinking lately about the former Ottawa City Council Member Diane Deans, who famously exploded in a rage over police failures to crush the Freedom Convoy — and expressed particular fury over the convoy’s use of “that damn bouncy castle.” Many ragey killjoys go into politics and journalism.

Seattle High School Issues Handout Telling Children That Enjoying the 'Written Word' Is White Supremacy By Jeff Charles"...A Seattle high school issued a reading assignment featuring nine supposed traits of white supremacy.
The assignment in question dives deep into progressive racial theory and is ostensibly intended to promote critical thinking about America’s societal structures.
  • But a closer look reveals its actual aim: To further indoctrinate children into progressive ideology on race issues.

Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy. The lesson plan has one local father speaking out, calling it “educational malpractice.”

As part of the Black Lives Matter at School Week, World Literature and Composition students at Lincoln High School were given a handout with definitions of the “9 characteristics of white supremacy,” according to the father of a student...

(NewsNation) — Scientists in South Korea have created a new type of hybrid food by growing beef cells inside grains of rice.
