I'm in a pretty ugly and cynical mood these days, especially where politics is concerned. 

It seems to me we live in an age where we are about to begin paying for mistakes of the past...and I mean really paying for them.

Progressivism has stripped all meaning from America's founding values and has effectively rendered worthless the status of being an American citizen. 

There was a time when we paid taxes for the privilege of being a citizen and those taxes went toward protecting the value of being a citizen - today, we are simply extorted to pay for things people want who do not value being American. 
In a way, we pay ransom to preserve fractions of the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Every single aspect of the Bill of Rights is compromised, nullified or is currently under attack. 
From the First Amendment to the Tenth, our own government is in open violation of every single one.

We have decided, in our infinite wisdom, to expose all to moral hazard by extending the rights of citizens to non-citizens and equating people who pay no taxes or own no property to people who do, eliminating the value of actually being an American citizen. 
Like the old saying states, when everyone is special, no one is.

...The fatal flaw in this Church of Progressivism is that no moral superiority can be built on a foundation of amoral or immoral acts.

As we are witnessing at our southern border, nothing short of direct confrontation with the progressive agenda is going to work. 
It's way past time to be standing athwart and yelling "Stop!"

The main concern seemed to be that the child was not vaccinated.
Americans need to defend their right to have an independent physician, to choose their physician and type of care, and to give or withhold informed consent to medical treatments. Otherwise, their “doctor” will be a protocol in a system staffed by interchangeable automatons. Treatments will be inaccessible or required, tailored to meet the needs and beliefs of the system.
If the government is the ultimate authority on your “health care,” remember that its tools for checking whether a child has a life-threatening disease such as meningitis include battering rams and assault rifles.

• In writing a book about hate crime hoaxes, I found more than 400. Such frauds damage good race relations.

"The hate attack on Empire star Jussie Smollett is now alleged to be a hoax. 
That shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Smollett’s story was bizarre, bordering on the absurd. 

...The questions here are obvious. 
How many Trump supporters even exist in the downtown of a city that went 83% for Hillary Clinton — and how many of them watch "Empire?" 
How many guys looking for a fight carry rope and bottles of bleach around with them? 

A great many hate crime stories turn out to be hoaxes. 
...Simply looking at what happened to the most widely reported hate crime stories over the past 4-5 years illustrates this: not only the Smollett case but also the Yasmin Seweid, Air Force Academy, Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin-Parkside, Kean College, Covington Catholic, and “Hopewell Baptist burning” racial scandals all turned out to be fakes. 
And, these cases are not isolated outliers.

Doing research for a book, Hate Crime Hoax, I was able to easily put together a data set of 409 confirmed hate hoaxes. 
An overlapping but substantially different list of 348 hoaxes exists at fakehatecrimes.org, and researcher Laird Wilcox put together another list of at least 300 in his still-contemporary book Crying Wolf.
