In other words, county leaders don't believe they have public support for a new jail but they want one anyway.
So they'll just do it quietly and deprive the citizens of Muskegon county of a vote on the millions necessary for the new facility.
I think that those who must make the final decision, our county commissioners, need to answer some questions if they decide to ignore taxpayer input on this most expensive issue.
