Seems like a perfect location-----UM-Flint seeking approval for $1.7M renovation to Northbank Center for city's first DEA branch

UM-Flint seeking approval for $1.7M renovation to Northbank Center for city's first DEA branch | MLive.com:
"The University of Michigan-Flint's Northbank Center building will undergo a $1.7 million renovation project if the university's Board of Regents approves the proposed upgrades at its July 17 meeting.
The project will renovate approximately 4,300 square feet of vacant space inside the building, which will then be leased to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
It will be Flint's first brick-and-mortar DEA branch.
According to Leonard Uller, a unit chief for the DEA Special Services Division, the government's General Services Administration handled the search and procurement of the location, choosing the UM-Flint campus for its location.
The GSA will manage the facility.
"The facility will be utilized to house DEA personnel in furtherance of DEA's mission," Uller said in an email to The Ann Arbor News."
