WATCH - Woman Who Stomped on American Flag Just Got THIS Bad News
"Perhaps you have heard of the piece of work that is Erica Walker.
This woman recently made viral headlines when she stomped on the American Flag, but now she has received some bad news.
After the Ocala (FL) Post contacted her employer, WAOK the Voice of the Community, they learned she had lost her job.
A representative with the radio station release the following statement a few days after being contacted:
“We appreciate your thoughts on this matter and taking the time to share them with us.
Please note that Erica Walker is no longer with the station.”
...Walker’s despicable act is also a part of a larger issue however.
Her decision to stomp on the American flag and then record it on YouTube is a disgusting knockoff of the ALS Bucket Challenge.
This is called the Eric Sheppard Challenge, which is named for a member of the New Black Panthers who staged a protest at Valdosta State University in Georgia.
He stomped the flag, and challenged his supporters to do so.
Naturally, this caused a lot of controversy on the campus and Sheppard found himself wanted by the police.
To make a long story short, the coward ran.
