"After the ridiculous dust-up over Donald Trump's remarks about "Second Amendment people" (you can read the New Yorker hyperventilating about it here), let's all hop in the Wayback Machine and see what Hillary Clinton cheerily said regarding Barack Obama during her losing campaign against the nobody from Illinois back in 2008:
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton defended staying in the Democratic nominating contest on Friday by pointing out that her husband had not wrapped up the nomination until June 1992, adding,
“We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.”
Well, those of us who weren't born yesterday certainly remembered, and understood the point Hillary was trying to make.
Because she actually used the word, "assassination," for starters.
But the media quickly covered for her:
Her remarks were met with quick criticism from the campaign of Senator Barack Obama..."
