EAST LANSING – Michigan State groups are working to pull together $75,000 to bring actor and former NFL player Terry Crews to campus.
Crews, who went public with his story of being sexually assaulted in 2017, will tentatively be the keynote speaker for MSU's It's On Us Week of Action in April.
The five-day event is part of a movement to end sexual assault on college campuses.
According to a State News article, two other groups — the Residence Halls Association and Spartan Athletics — have offered to contribute $25,000 each to cover Crews' entire speaking engagement fee. .."
