"Lisa Middlecamp-Lowder this is from my Swedish friends...(as a truth seeker, we MUST search for objective evidence)
*Strict gun laws and crime:Gun laws are so strict in fact that even pepper spray (mace) is considered an illegal weapon, and forget
stun guns, knives and batons. Sweden has made, by law, self-defense a prosecutable crime. If you
defend yourself, in any way, YOU become the criminal, NOT the victim. A burglar hurt himself in your
home during a home invasion – YOU run the risk of being jailed for negligence. You defend yourself from
a knife attack, same thing, if your attacker slips and hurt himself, YOU will become the accused because
you used violence.
**Consequences:
Sweden is #2 on the World rape capital list, just barely surpassed by South Africa.
Numerous No-Go zones in all major cities where police and 1 st responders cannot enter.
Rape gangs terrorize women all over the country. Vicious, brutal rapes that goes un-investigated
and non-punished in 95% of all cases.
&10% of all violent crimes goes un-investigated and non-punished in 95% of all cases.
A life sentence for a first-degree murder carries 10 years prison sentence, and you can get out
after 5 years for good behavior.
Petty crime, including rape, is almost never investigated.
High, and increasing occurrence of violence agent retirees and older people.
Police force is under-payed, under-staffed, out-numbered and out-gunned by criminal gangs.
No jury system – A judge and appointed officials are determining your guilt/no guilt and
determining your sentence. Not judged by your peers/citizens.
Call 911 and prepare for 30 minutes + wait before a dispatched unit arrives.
Ordinary Swedes are afraid of going out in their cities and villages, sometimes even during
daylight hour.
In the US about 2.5 million crimes against citizens are stopped/avoided annually due to the 2nd
amendment and concealed carry permits. Legally gun carrying citizens are able to defend themselves
and their loved ones. The police are on the scene in 10 minutes or less with sufficient gun power and
backup if needed..."
