Rep. Omar Inadvertently Proves The Case For Banning "Refugees"
"In September 2019, President Donald Trump issued an executive order that allows states and localities to opt out of accepting refugees. 
While many Republican governors are actually requesting refugees, no doubt at the behest of their donors hungry for cheap labor, some are taking advantage of these new powers. 
Some localities also want to defend their communities, including one Minnesota country. Of course, this doesn't make Ilhan Omar very happy.
...The move was viewed by many as a reaction to spiking crime in the state since large numbers of Somali refugees began arriving, according to reports. But supporters say it was simply an exercise of their rights, as facilitated by the president...
“Over 20 years ago, the state of Minnesota welcomed my family with open arms. I never would’ve had the opportunities that led me to Congress had I been rejected,” Omar wrote. “What Beltrami County is doing is denying refugees a chance at a better life.”
Let us pause here for a moment. Is Rep. Omar making the point she thinks she's making? Her statement is entirely self-centered. She simply assumes that the United States exists to provide "refugees" with a "better life" and that any restrictions are entirely illegitimate. Of course, if sufficient numbers of "refugees" arrive in Beltrami County, it will no different than the Third World countries these people come from. 
It's not just Beltrami County or Minnesota dealing with Somali crime. It's the entire country, case after case, victim after victim. See the source image
