Denver residents to call hotline to report non-compliance with 'stay-at-home' order, police say | OutThere Colorado

• Denver is cracking down on people not following the Mile High City’s stay-at-home order amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"According to a tweet from the Denver Police Department, members of the public are instructed to call ‘311’ to report a person violating the ‘stay-at-home’ order. 
A public health investigator or safety officer can then be dispatched to the scene.
Outdoor recreation activities such as walking, running, hiking, fishing, and biking, are all still allowed, as long as you maintain a social distance of at least six feet from anyone who doesn’t live in the same household as you.
Wearing face masks in public is also encouraged.
Around the mountain towns, non-residents have been told to leave and return home.

...In Gunnison County, where medical resources are limited, outsiders who violate the “locals-only” policy could face fines up to $5,000 or imprisonment in the county jail for up to 18 months."
