"Henry Ford Health System is temporarily furloughing 2,800 employees due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.In a statement, officials for the six-hospital health system attributed the decision to a $43 million loss in operating income for the month of March and similar expected losses in April and May from the postponement or cancellation of services and procedures, temporary site closures and additional resources for COVID-19 patients.
