Proud Boys, the alt-right group, planned a rally in Kalamazoo in support of police officers and to denounce Antifa, reports WWMT (Channel 3).
After seeing the planned rally, members of the People's Defense League of Michigan gathered at Arcadia Creek Festival Place to counter protest.
...Counter-protesters staged their own event in the area at the same time as the rally that the Proud Boys had planned, according to local media reports.
