"As i was looking for new info about the Tonga eruption, i found this one. 
As the panic over on the "dark side" claims that volcanic eruptions adds no CO2 of importance to the carbon cycle, i have to say they are dead wrong....
》After the Tonga volcano erupted in January 2022, carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations near the volcano soared to around 414 parts per million (ppm), according to researchers. 
  • Compared with the estimated 412 ppm had the volcano not erupted, the increased 2ppm equaled a whole year's CO2 emission on Earth.
